A shaft of each fan-motor blade unit is detachable from at least one of a yoke and a motor thereof to permit a casing along with vanes attached thereto to be detached from the respective panel section to fold the panel. Each fan motor-blade unit includes at least one solar module fixedly disposed on the outer side of the respective panel section power the motor. An on-off switch proximal each fan motor-blade unit in a position proximal the vehicle dashboard is provided. A protective front grill is disposed solely over the entire one of each recessed portion to protect against contact with the vanes of the fan motor-blade unit.
Recreational Vehicle and Trailer Window Treatment Adjustment System
A window treatment adjustment assembly is provided that includes a slider having a base movable along a portion of the frame. A handle extends from the base. A pocket is formed in the screen and includes: a pocket frame attached to the screen to form an opening through the screen; a shroud member attached to at least a portion of the pocket frame. The handle of the slider extends through the opening of the pocket and past the shroud member. The base of the slider is in communication with a mechanism that moves the window treatment.
WHEEL CARRIAGE ASSEMBLY WITH TELESCOPING HEMBAR
Wheel carriage assemblies and related fabric deployment systems and methods are disclosed. A wheel carriage assembly comprising at least one wheel with ball bearings on the interior of each wheel, and a pivot point that allows for position independence, is configured with a hembar coupled to a piece of fabric to allow a surface of varying shape to be covered. The system provides the ability to cover both traditional window shapes as well as surfaces of irregular shape or inclined orientation, and reduces and evens the amount of wear on certain components to extend system life.
Power Management Apparatus and Vehicle Having the Same
Provided is a vehicle including a curtain device; an inputter; a communicator configured to recognize current position information; and a processor configured to determine whether a current position is a position before entering a tunnel based on the current position information and map information, and upon determining that the current position is the position before entering the tunnel, control to open the curtain device, and configured to, in response to a selection command of an automatic light on/off mode for automatically turning on a lamp being received through the inputter, change an opening/closing mode of the curtain device to an automatic opening/closing mode, and upon the lamp being in an on-state, control opening of the curtain device.
PERFORATED VEHICLE SCREEN
Perforated vehicle screen including, e.g., windshield, rear window, side window, vent window, quarter pane, and/or roof panel. The perforation may comprise any pattern, such as, e.g., cross-hatch, linear, diagonal, circular hole, square hole, polygonal hole, rounded long hole, and/or angular long hole. The vehicle may be autonomous and does not require an operator. In some cases, the vehicle is not autonomous and requires an operator. The perforated screen may be in addition to, or in substitute of, standard glass. The perforated screen may be transparent, semi-transparent, or non-transparent. The perforated screen may be made from plastic, metal, and/or glass, and may be flexible or rigid. For example, the perforated screen may provide structure support to the vehicle. Each of the perforated vehicle screens may be formed in any shape and size to match a vehicle's specific dimensions based on make and model. In addition, a perforated vehicle screen may be convex, concave, or planar.
Multilayer interlayer having sound damping properties over a broad temperature range
A polymer interlayer having improved sound insulation is disclosed. The polymer interlayer comprises: at least one soft layer wherein the soft layer comprises a poly(vinyl butyral) resin composition having a dispersity in composition of at least 0.40 and a plasticizer; and a stiff layer comprising a poly(vinyl butyral) resin composition and a plasticizer; wherein the polymer interlayer has a damping loss factor (η) (as measured by Mechanical Impedance Measurement according to ISO 16940) of at least about 0.15 measured at two or more different temperatures selected from 10° C., 20° C. and 30° C.
COMPOSITE GLASS HAVING REDUCED THICKNESS FOR A HEAD-UP DISPLAY (HUD)
A composite glass for a head-up display is described. The composite glass has an outer pane made of glass and an inner pane made of glass, which are bonded to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer. The inner pane has a thickness less than 1.2 mm, and the thickness of the intermediate layer in the vertical course between a lower edge and the upper edge of the composite glass is variable at least in sections with a maximum wedge angle less than or equal to 0.3 mrad.

SHADING DEVICE FOR A WINDOW OF AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE
A shading device including a shading structure displaceable in vehicle-fixed lateral guiding rails between a lowered rest position and a deployed shading position using a drive arrangement. The shading structure in the rest position is lowered down in a vehicle-fixed chamber through a passage, wherein the passage is closable by a cover movable between an open position and a closed position, and a control arrangement for opening and closing the cover is provided and coupled to a displacement movement of the shading structure. The control arrangement includes a control plunger engaging on the cover, which plunger is articulated to the cover in opposed pull and push directions. The control plunger is in operative connection with the cover via a tensioning arrangement which is spring-elastically tensioned in one movement direction and inactively relaxed in an opposite movement direction.
COLORABLE WINDOW SHADE
A colorable sunshade system for an automobile includes a thin panel having a periphery shaped to fit within one of an automobile's windows or windshield. The panel has an outer surface for disposition outwardly against an inside surface of glass of the window or windshield, and an inner surface visible to occupants of the automobile when the outer surface is so disposed. One of the inner or outer surfaces is comprised of a white background with an image printed thereon, the image comprising one or more dark outlines surrounding white interiors for being filled with color. The system may also include means for temporarily affixing the panels into the windows or windshield, and means for filling the white interiors with color.
