ELECTRIC SUNSHADE AND SUNROOF STRUCTURE
An electric sunshade and sunroof structure may include cable assembly connected to a drive motor via a cable, sliding longitudinally along each of guide slide assemblies disposed on rails provided on both sides of a roof panel of a vehicle, thus opening or closing a sunshade, and moving integrally with the guide slide assembly to open a sunroof glass, a sunshade guide lever provided on the sunshade and selectively coupled with the cable assembly to move the sunshade, and a guide slide lever provided on a rear end portion of the guide slide assembly and selectively coupled with the cable assembly to move the sunroof glass.
METHOD OF RE-INITIALIZING A VEHICLE POWER-OPERATED MOON ROOF OR SUNROOF
A method for re-initializing a moon roof control system includes sequentially re-initializing first a sunshade controller and then a moon roof panel controller. The step of sequentially re-initializing is implemented by actuating one or more sunshade and/or moon roof panel actuators for a predetermined re-initializing time period that is less than a full duration of the re-initializing.
Glass roof arrangement for a motor vehicle
A glass roof arrangement, having a support frame fixedly connected to roof structure parts of a vehicle body. At least one transparent roof panel is fixedly arranged on the support frame, and a shading device is assigned to the underside of the roof panel and has a shading structure displaceable longitudinally in guide rails fastened to an underside of the roof panel. A guide profile cross-section of each guide rail is formed from an edge limb supported substantially orthogonally on the underside of the roof panel, and a guide limb extends substantially parallel to the underside and is attached to the edge limb such that a lateral guide channel for the shading structure is formed and delimited by the underside of the roof panel, the edge limb, and the guide limb.
CARGO COVER AND PARTITION
A cargo liner for a vehicle may include a cargo area portion sized and configured to extend over a horizontally-oriented cargo area of a vehicle. The cover may also include a seatback portion coupled to the lower portion. The seatback portion may be sized and configured to extend upwardly over a seatback of a vehicle seat. The seatback portion may include a first section, a second section, and a third section. Each of the first section, the second section, and the third section may extend from an upper edge of the upper portion to the cargo area portion. The cargo liner may include a guard portion elevating mechanism that is manipulable to cause the guard portion to transition between a lowered state and an elevated state wherein at least a segment of the guard portion proximate the cargo bed portion extends upwardly to provide a rear barrier.
SELF-CLEANING SYSTEM FOR INTERIOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A self-cleaning system is provided for the interior of a motor vehicle. That self-cleaning system includes a photoactive self-cleaning surface, a sun shade, an actuator displacing the sun shade between an opened position and a closed position and a controller. A related method of self-cleaning a surface in a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle is also disclosed.
Mounting platform for sunshade of automobile panoramic sunroof
Disclosed is a mounting platform for a sunshade of an automobile panoramic sunroof, which comprises a positioning part, a mounting part, a clamping groove and a magnetic component; the positioning part comprises a base plate and a limit plate, wherein the base plate comprises an upper end face and a lower end face, and the limit plate is arranged above the upper end face; the mounting part comprises a top surface and a bottom surface, and the bottom surface is lower than the lower end face; the lower end face is provided with a blocking part, which comprises a starting end and a terminating end, wherein the terminating end is lower than the starting end, and the terminating end extends towards the lower end face to form a terminating face; a clamping groove is formed between the terminating face, the lower end face and the mounting part.
Methods and systems for controlling a sunroof shade
Methods and systems are providhed for controlling a sunshade associated with a sunroof system of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes: determining, by a processor, a mode of the sunshade to be at least one of a linked mode and an unlinked mode; and selectively controlling, by a processor, a position of the sunshade based on one of a requested position of the sunshade and a requested position of a sunroof window, wherein the selectively is based on the mode.
Vehicle roof having a roller blind arrangement
A vehicle roof having a transparent roof section and a roller blind arrangement for selectively shading or at least partially not shading the transparent roof section, the roller blind arrangement having a roller blind web which is capable of being wound up to form a roller blind reel and which is provided with a guide tape on each of its edges arranged on either side of a vertical longitudinal center plane of the roof, each guide tape being guided in a respective guide rail, which is fixed to the roof. The roller blind arrangement comprises a roller blind module which has a cross member for the roller blind reel, the cross member extending in the transverse direction of the roof, and a guide leg on either side of the vertical longitudinal center plane of the roof, the guide legs being connected to the roof-fixed guide rails from below.
Covering device with a light source
A covering device to be fastened opposite an opening of a motor vehicle and comprises at least one element which is fastened on the circumference of the opening, wherein a covering unit is displaced in an expansion direction between a storage position, in which the covering unit is released from the opening, and a covering position, in which the covering unit is extended opposite the opening, wherein the covering unit comprises a network of optical fibers having lateral light scattering. The network of optical fibers is supplied with light by at least one light source which is fastened on the element and, in order to supply the network of optical fibers with light, can illuminate ends of the optical fibers of the network in at least one illuminating position of the covering unit.
Deflector structure for sunroof device
Provided is a deflector structure for a sunroof device, including: a thin cloth member that extends in a tensioned state to smooth a drive airflow when a roof panel is opened, and is folded when the roof panel is closed; a housing section that houses the folded thin cloth member; a reinforcement member that is arranged on a lower side of a front portion of the roof panel to reinforce the roof panel; and an upper holder that is fixed to an upper end portion of the thin cloth member, and is housed together with the thin cloth member into the housing section when the roof panel is closed.
