SUNROOF DRAIN HOSE NOISE ABATEMENT DEVICE
A noise abatement device for a vehicle having a body including a sunroof and a sunroof drain hose open for a fluid to flow from the sunroof to outside of the body. The noise abatement device includes a housing and at least one baffle. The housing has an interior wall and is configured to form an entry port connectable to the drain hose and an exit port openable to the outside of the body. The entry port is at a first elevation and the exit port is at as second elevation, lower than the first elevation. At least one baffle is attached to the interior wall. The baffle is configured to allow the fluid to flow via gravity from the entry port to the exit port and to create a tortuous path through the housing to prevent noise from outside of the body from entering the drain hose.
FOLDING TRUCK BED COVERS WITH SELF-LOCKING COMPOUND HINGES
Folding truck bed covers with self-locking compound hinges are disclosed. The covers may include rigid front, middle and rear panels. To open the cover, the rear panel is folded over the middle panel, then the folded middle and rear panels are folded over the front panel. A front edge of the middle panel may be pivotally mounted to a rear edge of the front panel by a compound hinge assembly including at least one compound or double hinge that permits the folded rear and middle panels to fold onto the top outer surface of the front panel. The compound hinge assembly may be used with a catch bar and catch bracket that provide a self-locking feature that prevents unwanted opening or break-ins of the cover when the cover is in its fully closed position.
Sunroof structure for automobile
A sunroof structure for a vehicle has a left side frame disposed on a left side of a vehicle body roof, extending along a vehicle front-rear direction, a right side frame disposed on a right side of the vehicle body roof, extending along the vehicle front-rear direction, a roof panel disposed between the left side frame and the right side frame, having a sunroof opening, a sunroof disposed in the sunroof opening and having at least two glass panels arranged next to each other in the vehicle front-rear direction, in which at least a foremost glass panel of the at least two glass panels is configured to be openable and closeable, and a sunroof side rail disposed below a peripheral portion of the sunroof opening, extending along the vehicle front-rear direction, and having a drain groove and a drain portion configured to discharge water accumulated in the drain groove.
TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY WITH A FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A bed cap configured for attachment to a tailgate of a vehicle, the bed cap includes a channel configured to collect fluid and/or debris, the channel comprising a first opening for evacuating the fluid and/or debris from within the channel.
SUNROOF ASSEMBLY WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A sunroof assembly includes a bracket configured for attachment to a sunroof panel. The sunroof assembly also includes a guiderail supporting movement of the bracket, whereby movement of the bracket causes movement of the sunroof panel. The sunroof assembly further includes a housing defining a housing wall, wherein the housing wall and the guiderail form a boundary wall separating a wet area of the sunroof assembly from a dry area of the sunroof assembly, and wherein the bracket straddles the boundary wall such that a first side of the bracket is located in the wet area and a second side of the bracket is located in the dry area.
Thermoplastic hardtop roof
The present invention is directed to a hardtop for a vehicle that has an exterior thermoplastic roof panel and sides. The hardtop includes a top frame formed of at least two longitudinal sides and at least one cross vehicle piece formed from fiber reinforced polymer. Connected to the top frame is at least one roof panel forming an outer surface of the hardtop. There are also one or more side frames each having a side panel connected thereto. The roof panel and side panel are all formed of thermoplastic, so it is possible to have a Class A finish paint surface or mold in color finish.
SUNROOF DEVICE
A sunroof device includes: a pair of guide rails, which extend along a front-rear direction of a vehicle and are respectively arranged on both sides of the sunroof opening in a vehicle width direction; a panel drainage component, which extends in the vehicle width direction and traverses the sunroof opening; and a pair of drainage members, which are respectively mounted on the pair of guide rails, and are respectively located below two end portions of the panel drainage component in the vehicle width direction, the panel drainage component is provided with a panel drainage groove extending in the vehicle width direction, each of the guide rails is provided with only one guide rail drainage groove extending in the front-rear direction, and the drainage member is configured such that water flowing out of the panel drainage groove is guided into the guide rail drainage groove via the drainage member.
MULTIPLE-PANEL FOLDING TRUCK BED COVERS
Multiple-panel folding truck bed covers are disclosed that include front gull wing panels and middle and rear folding panels. A T-support bar provides structural support for the gull wing and middle panels, and forms a base arm of a gull wing panel hinge as well as a base arm of a middle panel compound hinge. Rain or liquid gutters may be provided in the base arms.
TONNEAU COVER FOR PICKUP TRUCK
This invention discloses a tonneau cover for pickup truck, including a rail system, hinge system, cover panel, and clip system. The rail system is connected to the truck bed via the clip system. The cover panel is connected to the rail system and includes multiple panels, which are connected to each other through the hinge system. This invention employs a hinge system to enable relative rotation between panels, and it incorporates compensating rubber strips on the hinge system. The squeezing seal between the compensating rubber and hinge strips enhances the waterproofing at the rotation points, addressing issues of water leakage in the truck cover.
Roof system
A vehicle roof system comprises a stationary part configured to be attached to a fixed roof and guide rails extending in longitudinal direction substantially parallel to opposite sides of a roof opening. A semi-transparent panel closes the roof opening and has a drain channel for draining water seeping past at least one edge of the panel. A rollo assembly includes a rollo cloth having a first edge connected to a winding shaft, and a second opposite edge to which a beam is connected and opposite lateral edges guided in the guide rails. The cloth is wound onto the winding shaft and wound off to uncover or cover the panel at least partly from below. At least a part of the channel extends transversely within the path of the cloth and comprises a first sliding surface in contact with the cloth to guide it when it is wound up or off.
