Wind Deflection Assembly
A wind deflection assembly includes a golf cart that has a roof and a driver's seat. A deflector is provided which has an angled portion forming an angle with a mounting portion. The mounting portion is positionable against the roof having the angled portion angling downwardly from the roof. The deflector is comprised of a rigid material thereby facilitating the angled portion to deflect wind downwardly when the golf cart is in motion. Additionally, the deflector is aligned with the driver's seat such that the angled portion directs the wind onto a driver of the golf cart to cool the driver.
Support mechanism for an open-roof assembly in a vehicle roof
A support mechanism for an open-roof assembly, comprising a moveable panel, comprises at least one of a front flexible portion and a rear flexible portion. A guide assembly of the open-roof assembly comprises an elongated guide rail extending in a longitudinal direction, a front mechanism slideably arranged in the guide rail and a rear mechanism arranged in the guide rail. The front mechanism and the rear mechanism are provided with means for providing a relatively high mechanism stiffness, while the at least one of the front and rear flexible portions is provided with a relatively low bending stiffness in the width direction and with a relatively low rotational stiffness in respective main directions such that orientation deviations between the panel support assembly and the guide assembly result in larger rotational deformation in the at least one of the respective flexible portions than in the respective mechanisms.

Vehicle roof comprising a bearing device for a cover
A vehicle roof opening having a cover and bearing device which displaceably supports the cover on a roof-side longitudinal guide rail a front and rear bearing unit, which moves the cover between a closed and at least one deployed ventilation positions. The front bearing unit may have a bearing arm, one end which pivotally mounts the cover and the other end which is slidingly and pivotally mounted on the longitudinal guide rail; carries out a positioning movement controlling the cover front region, when said cover is moved from its closed position into its ventilation position and/or into an open position. The bearing arm may be pivotally mounted by a rocker-type bearing having a pivot bearing and two sliding elements, on the longitudinal guide rail in a slidingly mounted bearing carriage, and a pivot-control unit guides the two sliding elements to achieve the rocker-type pivoting action of the bearing arm.
OPEN ROOF CONSTRUCTION FOR A VEHICLE AND WIND DEFLECTOR ASSEMBLY
An open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a panel for a roof opening and a wind deflector assembly positioned at the front edge of the roof opening. The wind deflector assembly is provided with a substantially rigid upper frame member extending at least along the front edge. A flexible member connects with an upper edge to said upper frame member and with a lower edge to a stationary part. The upper frame member is movable by an operating mechanism between a lower, inactive position and at least two upper, active positions. Tensioning members keep the flexible member taut over in all active positions, and is provided with a substantially rigid, elongate lower frame member at its lower edge. The lower frame member connects to the stationary part through the tensioning members having a maximum tension force which is substantially lower than a maximum operating force of the operating mechanism.

Vehicular sunroof unit
In a sunroof unit, a movable panel includes a front sliding portion and a rear sliding portion that position an arm by sliding with the arm. When the movable panel moves in a second sliding range being a movement range of the movable panel when the rear sliding portion slides with the arm, a gap is generated between the front sliding portion and the arm.

Roof cover ducts
A vehicle comprising: an occupant cabin; a retractable roof configured to move between a deployed configuration where the roof covers the occupant cabin and a retracted configuration; a housing configured to house the retractable roof when the roof is in the retracted configuration; and a moveable cover configured to close the housing, the moveable cover comprising: a cover body; and two fins each extending from the cover body, the fins being located on either side of a longitudinal centreline of the vehicle, and the fins each comprising a channel running through the fin from a first side of the fin facing away from the longitudinal centreline to a second side of the fin facing towards the longitudinal centreline.
Wind-Deflecting Attachment for Open-Air Motor Vehicles
A wind-deflecting baffle attachment has a planar main body, at least one baffle, and at least one mounting member. Each baffle is angularly connected to the main body, and the at least one baffle includes at least one central baffle centrally positioned on the main body. The at least one mounting member is connected to the main body and is configured to attach the main body atop an open-air vehicle frame in order to deflect incoming wind away from the occupants of the vehicle.
