CONTEXTUAL AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE SUPPORT THROUGH WRITTEN INTERACTION
20200331489 · 2020-10-22 ·

An autonomous vehicle including a sensor system that outputs a sensor signal indicative of a condition of the autonomous vehicle. The vehicle also includes a user interface device with a display. A computing system determines, based upon a profile of the passenger, that support is to be provided textually to the passenger when the support is provided to the passenger. The computing system further detects occurrence of an event that has been identified as potentially causing discomfort to the passenger. The computing system yet further sets a predefined support message defined in an account corresponding to the event maintained in a database prior to occurrence of the event as a support message to be presented to the passenger. The computing system additionally causes the display to present the support message textually, wherein the textual support message solicits feedback from the passenger of the autonomous vehicle.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

An electronic device mountable in a car includes a first sensor configured to detect a gesture that does not come into contact with the electronic device, a second sensor configured to detect a touch that comes into contact with the electronic device, and a controller. The controller is configured to reduce the size of icons, displayed on a display, when detection by the first sensor is enabled and the car is moving.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IMAGE PROCESSING, VEHICLE HEAD-UP DISPLAY SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
20200334795 · 2020-10-22 ·

The present disclosure provides an image processing method applied to a vehicle head-up display device, including: determining position information of a target object within a range of activity; acquiring a distortion parameter corresponding to the position information by looking up a table; and performing distortion correction processing on an image to be displayed according to the distortion parameter, so as to obtain a distortion corrected image.

VEHICLE OPERATION INPUT APPARATUS AND VEHICLE OPERATION INPUT METHOD

The present disclosure is a vehicle operation input apparatus that performs an input on a vehicle-mounted device that achieves a predetermined function at a plurality of levels. The apparatus obtains, as input content, display content displayed in the first position corresponding to a user input, in which a level setting is displayed, and determines a change amount based on the number of contact points corresponding to the user input.

VEHICLE OPERATION INPUT APPARATUS AND VEHICLE OPERATION INPUT METHOD

A vehicle operation input apparatus that detects whether a vehicle is stopped, and controls a display to display a level setting display representing a setting of levels of a device installed in the vehicle in the first position on the display surface in mutually different display aspects depending on whether the vehicle is stopped.

VEHICLE MAXIMUM SPEED LIMITER BYPASS SYSTEM
20200331487 · 2020-10-22 ·

Systems and methods for dynamically limiting the road speed of a vehicle are provided herein. The method includes limiting the speed of the vehicle to a predetermined first speed under normal operating conditions. The method further includes selectively engaging an override condition for an activation interval responsive to an operator generated input. The override condition may be limited to a determined number of times in an activation assessment interval. During an activation interval of the override condition, the vehicle can exceed the predetermined first speed by a specified offset that defines a second speed greater than the first speed. The activation interval may be a period of time or a distance. The override condition is not available when the number of activations in the activation assessment interval exceeds a threshold value. The activation assessment interval may be defined by a period of time, a distance, an event or action, etc.
