Method and Device for Supporting a Refueling Process of a Vehicle Having a Fuel Cell
A device supports a refueling process of a vehicle having a fuel cell, wherein the vehicle is configured to carry out a switch-off process of the fuel cell prior to the refueling process. The device includes a control unit that determines that a refueling process shall be carried out. The control unit also, in response to the determination, performs one or more measures that reduce a delay time period for starting the refueling process caused by the switch-off process of the fuel cell.
HEATING SYSTEM, HEATING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND ELECTRIC DEVICE
A heating system includes first and second input ends, first and second battery modules, first switch and second switches, and a control unit. The first switch is connected between first terminals of the first and second battery modules. Second terminals of the first and second battery modules are connected to each other. The second switch is connected between the first input end and the first terminal of the second battery module. The second input end is connected to the first terminal of the first battery module. The first terminals of the first and second battery modules have a same polarity, and the second terminals of the first and second battery modules have a same polarity. The control unit is connected to the first and second switches, and configured to control the first and second switches to be turned on or off.
Devices for analysis of vehicle battery health
The present disclosure relates to systems, devices, and methods for analyzing health of vehicle batteries. Vehicle batteries tend to degrade over time. The described systems, devices, and methods quantify this degradation (or quantify remaining health of the battery) by comparing average energy used to charge or discharge the battery by a charge level unit to a nominal quantity of energy used to charge or discharge a battery in optimal health by a charge level unit. Charge data for previous charge events of the vehicle battery can be used in the calculation, and can be filtered by identifying qualified charge events based on at least one of a number of metrics. Usage data for previous usage events of the vehicle battery can be used in the calculation, and can be filtered by identifying qualified usage events or subgroups of usage event based on at least one of a number of metrics.
System and method of notifying vehicle occupant of replenishing place corresponding to related facility
An obtaining unit obtains attribute information of an occupant of a vehicle, and an extraction unit extracts related facilities having predetermined relations to replenishing places for replenishing driving energy of the vehicle. A notification unit notifies the occupant of a replenishing place corresponding to a predetermined related facility among the related facilities extracted by the extraction unit, which is associated with the attribute information of the occupant obtained by the obtaining unit.
Optimized charging of electric vehicles over distribution grid
Techniques are presented for scheduling the charging of electric vehicles (EVs) that protect the resources of local low voltage distribution networks. From utilities, data on local low voltage distribution networks, such as the rating of a distribution transformer through which a group of EVs are supplied, is provided to a load manager application. Telematics information on vehicle usage is provided from the EVs, such as by way of the original equipment manufacturer. From these data, the load manager application determines schedules for charging the group of EVs through a shared low voltage distribution network so that the capabilities of the local low voltage distribution network are not exceeded while meeting the needs of the EV user. Charging schedules are then transmitted to the on-board control systems of the EVs for implementation.
Battery pack measurement timing
A controller generates a first command for battery array sensors to sense voltages of battery cell arrays of a traction battery, and generates a second command to sample a value of current through the traction battery at a time following the first command that is defined by durations of analog to digital conversion operations of some of the battery array sensors and an analog to digital conversion operation associated with sampling the value.
VEHCILE AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A vehicle air conditioning apparatus is provided that can extend the mileage of a vehicle by reducing the power consumed by the operation of a compressor and a heater. When a required quantity of heating Q_req is acquired, the minimum power sharing ratio between quantity of heat release Q_hpof a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 22 and quantity of heat release Q_htrof a water heater 32 is calculated, which allows the power consumption W_total to be minimized, and a compressor 21 and the water heater 32 is operated based on the result of the calculation.
POWER MODULES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR ALLOCATING ELECTRICAL POWER TO MULTIPLE VEHICLES
Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative direct current (DC) power electronics modules, charging systems, and methods. In an illustrative embodiment, a DC power electronics module includes an electronics component configured to provide DC power to at least a first battery and a second battery, a processor configured to communicate with the electronics component, and non-transitory computer-readable media configured to store computer-executable instructions. The stored instructions cause the processor to determine connection status of the first battery and the second battery to the DC power electronics module and instruct the electronics component and/or a connection device to allocate DC power to the first battery and the second battery responsive to the determination that the first battery and the second battery are connected to the DC power electronics module.
Systems and methods for electric vehicle charging and power management
Systems and methods for charging electric vehicles and for quantitative and qualitative load balancing of electrical demand are provided.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING MEDIA CONTENT DURING VEHICLE CHARGING AND SERVICING
Disclosed embodiments include systems and computer-implemented methods to provide media content from a media server associated with a vehicle servicing system to a media presentation device associated with a vehicle via a local network. In an illustrative embodiment, a system includes a media presentation device including: a processor; and computer-readable media configured to store computer-executable instructions configured to cause the processor to: responsive to detecting that the media presentation device is communicatively couplable to a vehicle servicing system, communicatively couple the media presentation device to a media server associated with the vehicle servicing system via a local network; provide the media presentation device with access to media content available via the media server; and retrieve the media content via the media server and the local network.
