A device for compressing body tissue includes a clip having a connection portion with first and second clip arms extending therefrom, the clip includes a recess formed on an inner surface of the connection portion, the recess being shaped and sized to slidably receive a mounting bar coupled to an outer surface of an endoscope on which the mounting bar is mounted with inner surfaces of the first and second clip arms maintained in an open position by contact between an endoscope on which the mounting bar is mounted and the inner surfaces of the first and second clip arms. The clip is slidable over the outer surface of an endoscope on which the mounting bar is mounted until the clip moves distally beyond the distal end of the endoscope so that the first and second clip arms spring closed to grip tissue therebetween.

PRESSURE TEST PORT CONTAINED WITHIN A BODY OF SURGICAL INSTRUMENT

A surgical apparatus includes a housing, a test port retainer, a pressure test chamber, and an image capture assembly. The housing includes a pressure test port. The test port retainer includes a test port retainer housing, a probe seal, and a liquid exclusion barrier. In one aspect, the test port retainer also includes a hydrophobic membrane mounted within the test port retainer housing. The pressure test chamber includes a manifold and a central tube. The first end of the central tube is affixed to the image capture assembly to form a pressure seal, and the second end of the central tube is coupled to the test port retainer so that the pressure test port communicates with the interior volume of the central tube through the test port retainer.

METHOD FOR MOLDING THIN-WALLED SPIRAL TUBE FOR USE WITH ENDOSCOPE

A method of molding a polymeric device having an elongated tube and a spiral fin. The method including: injecting a liquid resin into a mold space defining the polymeric device, the mold space having an elongated hollow tube molding space and a spiral fin molding space wound around the elongated hollow tube molding space; and providing a longitudinal flow path in at least a portion of a longitudinal length of the elongated tube molding space, the longitudinal flow path defining a concavity greater in depth than other portions of the elongated hollow tube molding space such that the liquid resin injected into the mold space flows in the longitudinal flow path to fill one or more ends of the hollow tube molding space.

Guidewire locking device

A device that includes a body, a wire locking feature, and a channel. The body has an opening through which a wire is configured to extend. The channel is defined by an upper wire guiding portion and a lower wire guiding portion. The channel is configured to guide the wire between the opening and the wire locking feature. The upper wire guiding portion includes a protrusion. The wire is configured to slip past the protrusion during insertion of the wire into the channel.

Auxiliary visible light rod for multisource end-expiratory CO.SUB.2 .monitoring

The present invention discloses an auxiliary visible light rod for multisource end-expiratory CO.sub.2 monitoring. The auxiliary visible light rod comprises a handle, a pump body, a medicine compartment, a rod body and a bracket. The handle is separately connected with the medicine compartment, the pump body and the rod body, and one end of the rod body is connected with a rod head. A lamp and an atomizing head are arranged in the rod head. A circuit tube is connected with the external wall of the rod body, one end of the circuit tube is connected with a display screen, and the other end of the circuit tube is connected with a camera in the rod head. The bracket sleeves the rod body and is fixed to the outer side of an oral cavity or a chin of a patient, and thus the stability of the rod body is improved.
