SEAT SUPPORT
A seat support is provided with a plurality of layers of a non-foam material to mount to a seat frame and to support an occupant upon the seat frame. The plurality of layers is stacked upon each other, and each of the plurality of stacked layers has a generally uniform thickness.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
Provided is a conveyance seat having a good seating feeling and a suitable shock absorbing structure at the time of a rear collision. A conveyance seat has a configuration in which a cushion material is placed on a back frame and is covered with a skin material. The back frame includes right and left side frames which constitute side portions in a seat width direction and extend in an up to down direction. A surface of a cushion front portion disposed on a seat front side of the back frame in the cushion material is provided with a skin pull-in groove for pulling an end of the skin material and a surface groove disposed on the outside of the skin pull-in groove in the seat width direction and extending in the up to down direction. A back surface of the cushion front portion is provided with a back surface groove which is disposed between the skin pull-in groove and the surface groove in the seat width direction and extends in the up to down direction. The surface groove is disposed at a position overlapping the side frame in the front to back direction of the seat.
CONVEYANCE SEAT
There is provided a conveyance seat that suppresses the deterioration of the sensitivity of a load sensor to an input load even when a heater wire and the load sensor are disposed to overlap each other. A conveyance seat includes a seat cushion that supports buttocks of an occupant; a seat back connected to the seat cushion to serve as a backrest for the occupant; a load sensor provided at the seat cushion or at a portion of the seat back; a heater wire disposed on an occupant side with respect to the load sensor; and an intermediate member that positions the heater wire. The intermediate member is disposed between the load sensor and the heater wire.
SEAT SURFACE PERFORATIONS
A seat includes comprising: a seat bottom and a seat back operatively engaging the seat bottom. At, least one of the seat back and the seat bottom has an air impermeable outer trim layer covering at least a portion of an outer surface. The air impermeable outer trim layer includes perforations extending therethrough. The, size, spacing, or both of the perforations varies based at least in part on a body pressure map, and the perforations are configured to allow airflow therethrough directed toward an occupant of the seat.
SEAT SURFACE PERFORATIONS
A seat includes comprising: a seat bottom and a seat back operatively engaging the seat bottom. At, least one of the seat back and the seat bottom has an air impermeable outer trim layer covering at least a portion of an outer surface. The air impermeable outer trim layer includes perforations extending therethrough. The, size, spacing, or both of the perforations varies based at least in part on a body pressure map, and the perforations are configured to allow airflow therethrough directed toward an occupant of the seat.
SEAT
The main cushion (3) of an automobile seat (e.g. the seat pan cushion, or a backrest cushion) is provided with a shield (2). The shield surrounds at least part of the lateral sides of the main cushion and is formed of a less compressible (i.e. harder) foam than the main cushion, such that when the seat is upholstered, creases in the upholstery are reduced/prevented and gapping is avoided.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat including a seat back, the seat back including: a back frame serving as a framework; a top plate main seat pad that is a covered cushion member attached to the back frame and serving as a support structure at the center in a seat width direction; a top plate side seat pad that is a covered cushion member attached to the back frame and serving as support structures on both sides in the seat width direction; and a headrest, wherein the top plate main seat pad includes, at its upper portion, an annular portion having an opening portion in which the headrest is inserted and placed, and an open annular base member, which is harder than the top plate main seat pad and whose front surface portion is opened, is disposed on a surface of the annular portion at an inner side of the seat.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat, wherein a seat back includes a first member to which an operating lever is attached and a bezel attached to the first member to surround an outer periphery of the operating lever in a frame shape, wherein the first member has an opening hole through which the bezel passes, wherein the bezel is attached to a second member, which has higher strength and higher rigidity than the first member and is attached to the first member so as to close the opening hole, and is disposed in the opening hole, wherein an outer edge portion of the bezel covers the first member at a peripheral edge of the opening hole, and wherein the first member is attached to the seat back frame by locking a locking portion of the second member to a locked portion of the seat back frame.
CLOSE-OUT FOR ARMREST CAVITY
A seatback includes a trim cover/foam assembly including a foam cushion with a trim cover assembly disposed thereon. The trim cover/foam assembly has an occupant support side and a rear side opposite to the occupant support side, and defines an opening therethrough. The trim cover assembly includes a rear panel on the rear side for closing the opening. The seatback also includes an attachment member on the rear side of the trim cover/foam assembly configured to engage the rear panel and an armrest assembly including an armrest pivotally disposed on a frame at a rear portion of the armrest, with the armrest configured to pass through the opening. Upon installation of the armrest assembly, the rear panel is secured to the attachment member and sandwiched between the rear portion and the attachment member.
CLOSE-OUT FOR ARMREST CAVITY
A seatback includes a trim cover/foam assembly including a foam cushion with a trim cover assembly disposed thereon. The trim cover/foam assembly has an occupant support side and a rear side opposite to the occupant support side, and defines an opening therethrough. The trim cover assembly includes a rear panel on the rear side for closing the opening. The seatback also includes an attachment member on the rear side of the trim cover/foam assembly configured to engage the rear panel and an armrest assembly including an armrest pivotally disposed on a frame at a rear portion of the armrest, with the armrest configured to pass through the opening. Upon installation of the armrest assembly, the rear panel is secured to the attachment member and sandwiched between the rear portion and the attachment member.
