Child safety seat
A child safety seat includes a seat shell having a seat portion and a backrest, the seat portion having a front end opposite to the backrest, and an extension member connected with the seat shell and having a forward end. The extension member is configurable between a first position where the forward end deploys forward away from the front end of the seat shell, and a second position in which the extension member is retracted toward or removed from the seat shell. The child safety seat has a rear facing configuration of installation, and the forward end of the extension member when in the first position is configured to provide abuttal contact against a seatback of the vehicle seat in the rear facing configuration.

Seat with pneumatic headrest and thigh adjustment
A pneumatically adjustable seat includes a seat frame having a seat back frame portion and a headrest coupled to the seat back frame portion. The headrest includes a resilient cushion. A drive assembly includes a contact member operatively associated with the resilient cushion. A first bladder is operatively coupled to the contact member and in fluid communication with a source of pressurized fluid. Inflation of the first bladder via the source of pressurized fluid extends the contact member from a first position nearer the seat back frame to a second position further from the seat back frame. A second bladder is operatively coupled to the contact member and in fluid communication with the source of pressurized fluid. Inflation of the second bladder via the source of pressurized fluid pivots the contact member away from an occupant of the seat.

MULTI-COMPONENT SPRING SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC THIGH AND CUSHION SUPPORT
A vehicle seat includes a tilt plate rotationally coupled at a first horizontal axis to a front of a base. A cushion spring extends from a rear of the base to the tilt plate. Rotation of the tilt plate rotates the cushion spring about a second horizontal axis. A thigh support is rotationally coupled to the tilt plate. A dynamic spring biases the thigh support away from the tilt plate.

ARTICULATING THIGH EXTENSION TRIM TENSIONING SLIDER MECHANISM
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat frame, a first extendable member disposed on a forward portion of the seat frame and operable between an extended position and a retracted position. Each of the first and second extendable members comprises a movable housing, a trim cover stock disposed above an upper surface of housing and having a first fixed upper edge, an integrated track disposed on a lower surface of the housing, a trim payout slider operably coupled with the integrated track, a trim payout attachment operably coupled with the trim payout slider and operably coupled with a second lower movable edge of the trim cover stock, and a linkage system operatively coupling the movable housing to the trim payout attachment to maintain tension on the trim cover stock as either of the first and second extendable members is operated between the extended and retracted positions.
