Clutch-based adjustment mechanism for motorized multi-way seat adjustment
Clutch-based adjustment mechanism for motorized multi-way seat adjustment An adjustment mechanism comprises multiple screw shafts (111, 112, 113) and a motor (150) for driving the screw shafts. Further, the adjustment mechanism comprises a clutch mechanism (160) for selectively engaging the motor (150) with one or more of the screw shafts (111, 112, 113). A rotation of one or more of the screw shafts (111, 12, 113) caused by the motor (150) translates into adjustment of the seat according to a first degree of freedom. A rotation of one or more others of the screw shafts (111, 12, 113) caused by the motor (150) translates into adjustment of the seat according to a second degree of freedom.
Therapeutic seat cushion equipped for pressure monitoring and inflation system for same
A seat cushion includes a plurality of inflatable cells, a pumping mechanism, and a manifold or valve system fluidly between the pumping mechanism and the inflatable cells. The manifold or the valve system, which may include a clutch and a motor, connect the pumping mechanism with, the inflatable cells such that a plurality of zones are created. A valve assembly can include a plurality of valves and is adjustable among at least three valve configurations to vary fluid connections to the inflatable cells to produce rearwardly advancing waves. The pumping action produced by the inflation and deflation of the inflatable cells assists in pumping blood in a user's legs back toward the heart.
Vehicle seat
Provided is a vehicle seat having a seat cushion, a submarine bar, an airbag main body, a bag retainer, and a transmission member. The seat cushion is shifted by a tilting mechanism or a lifting mechanism. The submarine bar is suspended across side frames. The airbag main body inflates and deploys inside the seat cushion. The bag retainer is at least partially disposed inside the airbag main body and retains an inflator. The transmission member transmits, to the submarine bar, a load that acts on the bag retainer when the airbag main body inflates and deploys in a state where the seat cushion has been shifted upward.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR SEATING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly is provided that includes a seatback and a seat that includes a seat frame and a support assembly. The support assembly is coupled to the seat frame and movable between an elevated position and a flattened position in response to an actuation force applied on the support assembly. The support assembly includes an extension member having a first end fixedly coupled to the seat frame and a second end rotatably coupled to the seat frame, and a plate having a first side rotatably coupled to the seat frame and a second side slidably coupled to the seat frame.
Thigh support and seat
A seat comprises a backrest, a seat support coupled to the backrest; and a thigh support coupled to the seat support. The thigh support includes a thigh support structure having a thigh extension, wherein the thigh extension is movably adjustable between a retracted position and a fully extended position. The thigh extension may include at least one elastically deformable element.

The thigh extension may include at least one elastically deformable element.
ACTUATOR FOR RECLINER
Proposed is an actuator for a recliner which can be manufactured with components having simple structures to reduce weight, and functions of a seat operated through different cables are independently performed stably. The actuator for a recliner includes: a casing part, and a drive part provided with a worm wheel gear located inside the casing part and rotated by an operation of a motor, and a rack gear configured to move elastically toward a first or second side of the drive part in engagement with the worm wheel gear, with cables being coupled respectively to the first and second sides of the rack gear.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly may include a seat having a seat base and a seat back, a temperature control unit disposed at least partially in the seat back, and/or an ECU connected with the temperature control unit. The ECU may be configured to receive an input related to (i) a first state corresponding to symptoms and/or discomfort associated with dysmenorrhea and/or (ii) a second state corresponding to symptoms and/or discomfort associated with sciatica. The ECU may be configured to operate the seat assembly according, at least in part, to the input.
VEHICLE SEAT
A seating posture is stabilized for the shoulders of a passenger seated on a vehicle seat. A vehicle seat is provided with a seat back configured to support the seated person from the rear. A shoulder support portion of the seat back configured to support a corresponding one of the shoulders of the seated passenger includes an air cell configured to expand when air is supplied. When the air cell expands, one end portion of the shoulder support portion on the outside in the width direction of the vehicle seat moves more forward than the other end portion of the shoulder support portion on the inside in the width direction.
