Each of the left-hand and right-hand joysticks may include a base portion configured to conform to and least partially cradle an operator's hand, a handle extending from the base portion with a proximal end of the handle being connected to the base portion, and a distal end of the handle supporting a head portion of the joystick. The head portion of the joystick may include a front surface including a configurable face plate. The configurable face plate may include one of a pair of upshift and downshift buttons or a roller configured to perform one of discrete or continuously variable shifting, respectively, of a transmission of the machine. The handle may include a thumb rest area at the distal end of the handle transitioning into the head portion of the joystick.

Work vehicle

A wheel loader representing a work vehicle includes an operator's seat, an armrest, and a seat operation portion. The armrest is provided lateral to the operator's seat. The seat operation portion controls a position or a posture of the operator's seat. The seat operation portion is attached to the armrest.

OPERATION DEVICE

An operation device according to the present invention includes a touch-sensitive operation surface placed in a vehicle and a detecting unit configured to detect touch operation by an operator on the touch-sensitive operation surface. On the touch-sensitive operation surface, a guide part having a convex shape or a concave shape and a planar operation part to be an operation location having a planar shape located around the guide part are formed. The detecting unit is configured to detect slide operation on the guide part from the planar operation part, and accept later operation on a predetermined operation location as an operation instruction set in accordance with a status of the slide operation on the guide part.

Handrail structure

A handrail member is in a deployed state and at a so-called usable position when a tip portion of the handrail member is arranged between a sliding door and a lateral portion of a vehicle. Moreover, by making the handrail member usable, a passenger can place his or her hand on the handrail member when getting on or off the vehicle. As a result, it is possible to help the passenger get on/off the vehicle. In this manner, by turning the handrail member along a vehicle width direction around a bolt, the handrail member can be deployed and stored with a simple configuration.

Cable driven sliding center console

Center console provided with a fixed rail, extending in a longitudinal direction, a translatable member, a gearbox assembly and first and second cables. The translatable member may be coupled to the fixed rail and configured to move between a first position and a second position. The gearbox assembly may include a cable drum configured to rotate in a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction. The first and second cables may each be coupled to the translatable member and a cable drum. As the cable drum rotates in the first rotational direction, the first cable may translate the translatable member towards the first position. As the cable drum rotates in the second rotational direction, the second cable may translate the translatable member towards the second position.

Furniture entertainment hubs are disclosed that are integrated in a piece of furniture to conveniently control the piece of furniture, while at the same time providing a convenient means of communicating with and charging a remote smart device such as a smart phone or tablet. The entertainment hubs can be in many different locations in the piece of furniture, with some embodiments embedded in an armrest with the hub having a touch screen accessible at the top surface of the armrest. The entertainment hub provides a sleek, aesthetic and easy to mechanism for controlling the chair/sofa and interfacing with remote devices. One embodiment of an entertainment hub for a seating apparatus comprising a body with a plurality of planar surfaces, wherein one of said plurality of surfaces comprises a substantially flat control panel. The control panel comprises a plurality of visual touch buttons, a remote device wireless charging pad, and a speaker. Wherein said body is arranged to be mounted in a piece of piece of furniture with most of the body embedded in said piece of furniture with said control panel being visible and accessible.

Machine centric control for compaction machines

A construction machine that frequently changes between a forward and reverse direction of movement includes a system and method for operating the machine such that rotation of the operator seat can change the direction and speed of the machine's movement to minimize disorientation by the operator. The machine can be changed from moving in the forward direction to moving in the reverse direction, without changing the position of a propel lever or joystick that is used to control the direction and speed of the machine's movement. Rotation of the seat can be used to proportionally reduce the speed of the machine as the machine nears a threshold for changing direction. The joystick can be a dual axis lever that can move along a longitudinal axis and a lateral axis. The direction of movement and speed of the machine can depend on a combination of the joystick position and seat position.

Vehicle with improved seat swivel lock mechanism

A vehicle proposed herein includes a swivel, a lock mechanism selectively locking and unlocking the swivel, a seat mounted on the swivel, a plurality of surface pressure sensors each disposed along an outer surface of the seat and detecting a pressure distribution within a predetermined area of the outer surface, and a controller configured to cause the lock mechanism to be unlocked based on a change in pressure distribution or a surface pressure that is detected by any of the plurality of surface pressure sensors.

Cup holder for vehicle

A cup holder for a vehicle may include a holder body slidably coupled to a cup holder mounting portion in the vehicle, a finger elastically and pivotably mounted to the holder body, and configured to press and support a side surface of a cup inserted into the cup holder together with the holder body, a support connected to the holder body by a link such that the support is vertically movable in accordance with pivotal movement of the link, the support being configured to support a bottom portion of the cup, and a locking member disposed between the finger and the link, to lock the link, for prevention of pivotal movement of the link, or to unlock the link in linkage with pivotal operation of the finger.

ARMREST

Disclosed is an armrest for a seat, which is accommodated at a lateral side of a seat cushion at a standby position and adjusted in height with respect to the seat cushion at an operation position. The armrest includes: a base disposed adjacent to the seat cushion; a first module rotatably connected to the base and configured to rotate about a first rotation axis so that a height of the first module with respect to the seat cushion is adjusted; and a second module rotatably connected to the first module and configured to rotate about a second rotation axis traversing the first rotation axis so that the second module is disposed horizontally or vertically with respect to the seat cushion.
