The bus structure includes: a passenger compartment, a side wall with a vertical post and delimiting the passenger compartment, a horizontal support, a vertical handle—or stanchion—along the vertical post and projecting from the horizontal support, a strut projecting from the vertical post to the horizontal support, and a floor structure of reduced thickness. The strut defines a triangle with the wheel housing and the vertical post. The strut is straight or curved.
Vehicle Egress Assistance Device
The present invention relates to a vehicle egress assistance device primarily comprised of a body, further comprised of a first end with a rubber tip and a second end with at least one handle. The device is designed to assist a user when entering (or exiting) a vehicle by removably attaching to the door latch of the vehicle. At least one rubber tip of the first end of the body is inserted into the latch, such that the device is retained within the latch. A user can then grasp the handle to lift themselves out of the vehicle using the device. The body may further be comprised of a hinge, such that the device can fold. In another embodiment, the handle is further comprised of a wrist strap to ensure the hand of the user does not slip from the device during use.
Vehicle assist handle assembly having a display
An assist handle assembly for use in an interior of a vehicle. The assist handle assembly includes an assist handle configured to be gripped by a user, a display connected to the assist handle, a communication link operatively coupled to the display, a connector configured to secure the assist handle assembly to a structural component in the interior of the vehicle.
Door armrest
An armrest upper part covering an upper portion of an armrest lower part includes a front end portion adjacent to a switch finisher and an engagement claw portion extending from the front end portion. An upper part of the engagement claw portion is covered with the switch finisher. At the armrest lower part, a fixing portion for engagement with the engagement claw portion is provided. At a back surface of the switch finisher adjacent to a front of the armrest upper part and covering the upper portion of the armrest lower part, a restriction piece is provided at a position facing the fixing portion via the engagement claw portion. The restriction piece restricts detachment of the engagement claw portion from the fixing portion.
Hanging strap for vehicle
A hanging strap for a vehicle includes: a leather belt having a loop shape, that is hung from a support provided near a ceiling in a vehicle cabin; and a hand grip member that is supported on the leather belt and that has a grip portion gripped by a standing passenger. The hand grip member is placed at an inner circumferential side of the leather belt. An outer surface of the grip portion is fixed to an inner surface of the leather belt.
BATTERY COMPARTMENT AND HANDLE FOR TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE
The present disclosure provides a battery compartment and a handle for use in a transportation vehicle. The battery compartment includes: a battery mount having at least two battery mounting grooves spaced apart from each other; a connection electrode on the battery mount and between adjacent battery mounting grooves; a battery compartment cover detachably connected to the connection electrode; and a pushing-out assembly on the connection electrode, wherein the pushing-out assembly is configured to provide a force for moving the battery compartment cover away from the connection electrode.
Grab Bar Assembly For A Vehicle
A grab bar assembly includes a support beam adapted to be mounted to a vehicle and defining a longitudinal axis, a grab bar having an inner beam disposed within the support beam and movable relative to the support beam in first and second directions along the longitudinal axis. The assembly further includes a locking plate attached to the inner beam and a locking mechanism coupled to the support beam and having a latch movable between a lock position engaging the locking plate to fix the grab bar in a location relative to the support beam and a release position disengaging the locking plate to permit adjustment of the grab bar and the inner beam along the longitudinal axis in one of the first and second directions.
Dual-purpose grab handle and tie-down bracket for motor vehicle
This disclosure relates to a dual-purpose grab handle and tie-down bracket for a motor vehicle. An example vehicle includes a body panel defining at least a portion of a recess, and a component mounted at least partially in the recess. Further, the component provides a tie-down bracket configured to attach to a tie-down and a grab handle configured to be grasped by a hand of a user.
Vehicle having movable assist handle with light device
A vehicle includes a body defining a door opening, a door movable between a closed position closing the door opening in an open position exposing the door opening, and a support structure located proximate to the door opening. The vehicle also includes a deployable assist handle having a handle body configured to be gripped by a user, the handle body being deployable amongst a plurality of positions including at least a first position and a second position, the assist handle comprising a lighting device, wherein the lighting device provides an illumination beam directed to a first region when the handle is in a first position and directed to a second region when the handle is in the second position.
