Described is recline mechanism for a comfort seating assembly such as a theater seat which can be mounted on a sloped surface. In a fully recline position, the seating assembly is compact with a layout that falls generally within its profile. The recline mechanism includes a pair of each of: seat rail brackets, front pivot links, rear pivot upper lift link to control the motion of the rear end of the assembly, rear pivot links each attached to one rear pivot upper lift link, carrier links, each carrier link attached to one front pivot link and to a rear pivot link and a pair of rear pivot upper lift control links, attached to a pivot upper lift link and to a carrier link. A linear actuator attached by motor drive tubes at two ends of the linkage system transitions the recline mechanism between the closed and recline positions.
Hardware system for a vehicle seat
A hardware system, for a vehicle seat, includes a fitting (10) having a first fitting part (11) and a second fitting part (12), which can be locked to one another and can rotate in relation to one another about an axis (A), a transmission rod (7) and a hand lever (5), the actuation of which rotates the transmission rod (7). The fitting is unlocked via a rotation of the transmission rod against a total characteristic torque (M.sub.overall), produced from a sum of a first characteristic torque (M.sub.35), generated by a spring assembly (35), and a second characteristic torque (M.sub.61), generated by spiral springs (61). A first component (63) is rotationally fixed to the transmission rod and a second component (64) moves relative thereto during unlocking. The spiral springs (61) act between the first component (63) and the second component (64). A vehicle seat is provided having the hardware system.
Self-biasing recliner cross-talk tube coupler
A coupler for coupling a cross-talk tube of a vehicle seat with a shaft of a dual recliner assembly. The coupler comprises a generally cylindrical body extending axially between an inboard end and an outboard end. The inboard end includes an inboard aperture having an inboard planar surface. The outboard end includes an outboard aperture having an outboard planar surface. The inboard planar surface and the outboard planar surface transition from an axially offset position to an axially aligned position when the coupler is installed with the cross-talk tube and the shaft of the dual recliner assembly.
Recliner Mechanism Having Welded Encapsulating Ring
The recliner mechanism includes a housing plate, a recliner heart and an encapsulating ring. The recliner heart is mounted to the housing plate and operable in an unlocked state permitting relative rotation between a seatback and a seat bottom and a locked state preventing relative rotation between the seatback and the seat bottom. The encapsulating ring is attached to the housing plate.
Back frame for vehicle seat
A back frame to be used in a seatback of a vehicle seat is provided. The back frame for a vehicle seat includes a frame main body, a beam member, a bracket, and an extending portion. The frame main body includes two side frames that extend in an approximately up-down direction and that are disposed spaced apart from each other in a seat width direction. The beam member is formed in a rod-like shape, is disposed between the two side frames, and extends in the seat width direction. The bracket couples the beam member to the frame main body. The extending portion is provided in an end of the bracket and extends in a direction away from the end of the bracket. The bracket includes, in the end thereof, a welded portion welded to an outer circumferential surface of the beam member.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat including: a framework of a seat back, which includes an outer side frame located on an outer side of a vehicle and an inner side frame located on an inner side of the vehicle; a lower panel bridged between a lower portion of the outer side frame and a lower portion of the inner side frame; and a reinforcing member including: a first part attached to a surface of the outer side frame facing the inner side frame and extending along a longitudinal direction of the outer side frame; and a second part connected to the first part at one end thereof and extending toward the inner side frame, wherein, in a front view, the second part is located lower than an upper end of the lower panel.
Reclining apparatus for seat for vehicle and seat for vehicle with reclining apparatus
An object of the present invention is to provide a seat for a vehicle which is capable of smoothly and stably adjusting the reclining of a seat back by driving an electrical reclining motor 34, even if the electrical reclining motor 34 is diagonally mounted on a seat back frame structure in a case where the electrical reclining motor 34 is fixedly connected on a seat back frame structure, or even if the electrical reclining motor 34 becomes inclined due to a deformation of the seat back frame structure after such a fixedly connection. There is provided a seat 10 for a vehicle comprising a seat back frame structure 12 a lower end of which is connected to a rear end of a seat cushion frame structure 14 in such a way that the seat back frame structure 12 can be inclined relative to the seat cushion frame structure 14, said seat back frame structure 12 including a pair of side frames 20A,B each of which extends in a vertical direction of the vehicle, said seat 10 for the vehicle further comprising a through-hole 28 provided on a lower end portion of each of the pair of side frames 20A,B, a connecting rod 30 extending through each of the through-holes 28 so as to be rotatable about a horizontal direction, an electrical reclining motor 34 rotating said connecting rod 30 and provided along the one of side surfaces of the one of said pair of side frames 20A,B, and a reclining apparatus 16 provided on the other of the side surfaces of each of said pair of side frames 20A,B, a bolt through-hole 72 being provided on a non-rotational driven solid portion of said electrical reclining motor 34, a bolt 74 which fits into said bolt through-hole 72 is provided for fixedly bolting said electrical reclining motor 34 on said one of the side surfaces of the one of the pair of side frames 20A,B, said bolt 74 comprising a head portion 76 and a shank portion 78 with a circular cross-section, said shank portion 78 comprises an enlarged-diameter portion 82 on its end portion and a reduced-diameter portion 84 adjacent to the enlarged-diameter portion 82 with being concentric to each other.
Reclining device and seat
Provided is a reclining device that achieves effective prevention of abnormal sound while permitting a clearance to exist between a cam and a connecting rod. A reclining device includes: a pair of reclining mechanisms each having an internal gear and a cam; a connecting rod coaxially coupled to the cam and being rotatable together with the cam; and a resin bush having a fit hole to receive a fitting part at a portion adjacent to each end of the connecting rod. The resin bush is placed in a bush insertion hole in contact with an inner surface of the bush insertion hole of the internal gear to retain the connecting rod at such a position to the cam that a clearance exists between an inner surface of a rod insertion hole of the cam and an outer surface of the connecting rod.
