Improvements to U.S. Pat. No. 9,346,389, Cargo Handling System, are desirable in order to tilt either the lower or upper extendable assembly independently or together to facilitate proper cleaning and to increase options for tilting, hauling, loading, and unloading purposes. The Extendable Tilt Assembly System is created by adding a tailgate guide assembly and modifying the guide assembly, the lower extendable assembly and the upper extendable assembly of U.S. Pat. No. 9,346,389.

Vehicle including load-assist roller

This disclosure relates to a motor vehicle including a load-assist roller. In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a motor vehicle, including a panel and a roller moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position. When the roller is in the deployed position, the roller projects rearward of a rear edge of the panel.

An example truck bed on-board storage system includes a first panel configured to slide into at least one slot formed in a truck bed. Hinge(s) are mounted to a bedrail of the truck bed. A second panel is connected to the hinge(s). The first and second panels form a first enclosure with at least three walls and a floor of the truck bed. A rear wall of the truck bed is spaced apart from the cab of the truck bed at a distance to receive both the first and second panels. The first and second panels are configured to be removed from the truck bed and slid between the rear wall of the truck bed and the cab of the truck. A third panel and a fourth panel forms a second enclosure with the first panel and at least two walls and the floor of the truck bed.

Inertia-Driven Dump Load Container For Vehicles

An inertia-driven dump load apparatus is provided in association with motor vehicles. The inertia-driven dump load includes a container defined by two side walls and a front wall; and at least one pivotable connection means connecting the container to the vehicle bed. To operate the inertia-driven dump load apparatus, the apparatus is first placed within a vehicle bed. Once the apparatus is in place, material to be dumped can be loaded into the apparatus. Then, the vehicle is driven to a location where the dumping of the materials is desired. Finally, a force is applied to the apparatus such that the apparatus moves across the vehicle bed so that the apparatus tips over a tailgate of the vehicle bed so that the material to be dumped is dumped.

MOVABLE VEHICLE CARGO TRAY
20180043810 · 2018-02-15 ·

A vehicle cargo management system includes a screw drive and lock system that allows the user to extend or retract a loaded tray with ease on un-level ground without the use of a power source (i.e., hydraulic or electrical assistance). The lock prawl system allows for locking positions at very short intervals which are helpful when a vehicle is backed up close to objects or buildings. The screw drive lock prawl system is actuated by a locking handle. Therefore, if the locking handle is locked in place, the tray cannot be extended from the bed, and the tray itself or any toolboxes or items bolted to the tray cannot be stolen from the vehicle (i.e., the bolts holding the frame of the cargo system to the vehicle cannot be accessed for removal).

VEHICLE LIFTGATE WITH DUAL STOWABLE HOISTS
20180043941 · 2018-02-15 ·

An apparatus for lifting an object for placement in a vehicle cargo area is provided. The apparatus comprises a liftgate for opening and closing relative to the vehicle cargo area including dual hoists for lifting an object in a balanced manner. The dual hoists may be stowed in a compartment in the liftgate, such as in individual pockets covered by a door formed by a liftgate trim panel. The actuator forming part of the hoist may also be covered by the liftgate trim panel, and thus hidden from view.
