The disclosure concerns a drone trailer system. The drone trailer system includes a rear door hingedly coupled to a distal end of a trailer. A first track system is disposed on the trailer at a floor thereof. A second track system is disposed on the rear door at an inner surface thereof. A movable platform is slidably engaged with the first track system, the second track system, or both. A drone is configured to sit on top of the moveable platform to allow for fast deployment.

A locking system for a vehicle slide out device may have a paddle having a body portion and a flange portion. The system may also have a lever connected to the paddle where the lever has a locking pawl, and at least one pivot aperture. The system may also have a lever support located adjacent the lever, where the lever support may have at least one pivot extending through the at least one pivot aperture. The system may also have a frame member having a plurality of notches selectively aligned with the locking pawl.

A powered sliding platform assembly may include an actuator, a platform, and a controller. The platform may have a rail defining first and second openings configured to receive a pin of an actuator. The actuator and the rail may be arranged such that while the platform moves between extended and retracted positions, the pin rides along the rail between the openings. The controller may be programmed to, in response to a signal indicative of an object being proximate the platform, inhibit movement of the platform.

A self-unloading bulk material bed with a discharge opening is provided. An apparatus for discharging materials from the self-unloading bulk material bed includes a first and second tapered fin on either surface of the discharge opening. The tapered fins direct materials moving through the discharge opening down so that they do not build up around the discharge opening.

A cargo storage system has at least one pair of rails configured to extend along a length of the cargo storage area in a horizontal direction, the pair of rails comprising a first rail configured to extend along a first side of the cargo storage area, and a second rail configured to extend along a second side of the cargo storage area opposing the first rail. A storage and transportation system includes a vehicle that has a bed. A cart is positioned within the bed and the cart may retain objects within the bed. A pair of rollers is provided and each of the rollers is coupled to the cart. Each of the rollers rollably engages the bed such that the cart may facilitate the objects to be rolled outwardly from the bed. A handle is coupled to the cart and the handle may be manipulated thereby facilitating the cart to be rolled along the bed. The cart is selectively rolled toward the back end of the bed thereby facilitating the objects to be removed from the bed.

A lift mechanism for an associated cargo carrier includes a rail configured for sliding movement between a first position received within a footprint of the carrier and a second position extended outwardly from the carrier footprint. A leg assembly is configured for extending movement between a first position received in the rail and a second position extending outwardly from the rail. When the rail and leg assembly are in the respective first positions, the leg assembly is stored along the carrier, and when the rail and leg are in the respective second positions, the leg assembly supports the cargo carrier. A drive arrangement selectively raises and lowers the leg assembly between the first and second positions to raise and lower the cargo carrier relative to the vehicle bed.

A cargo loading system for use with a truck bed including a first frame, a second frame connected to the first frame by a first hinge, and a third frame connected to the second frame by a second hinge. Each frame includes perimeter walls and a bottom wall that define a cargo space. The first frame includes wheels extending beyond the perimeter walls on a side of the cargo space opposite to the bottom wall. In a first configuration, the frames lie in parallel in the truck bed. In a second configuration, the third frame and the second frame lie in parallel in the truck bed, and the first frame freely hangs over an edge of the truck bed. In a third configuration, the third frame lies in the truck bed, the second frame hangs freely, and the one or more wheels engage a surface below the truck bed.
