Tilt-less Liner Apparatus and System for Unloading Bulk Cargo
A tilt-less liner apparatus and system for unloading bulk cargo from a container liner using a first layer on the container liner floor having a friction reducing top layer and a friction enhancing bottom layer to secure first layer against movement. A second layer of flexible high strength material folded in over lapping multiple pre-folded sections from at least two to eight folded stacked layers are used to cover the friction reducing top first layer. The second layer is connected to a coiling means and motor for coiling up and removing the second layer from the container over the friction reducing top layer of the first layer and the bulk cargo comes out with the second layer into a hopper provided with means for bulk product distribution. Vibrators, depth measuring devices and speed controls are provided to control bulk cargo unloading and prevent blockage build up.
Cargo Slide for a Pickup Truck
The invention is directed to a cargo moving apparatus for moving cargo within a bed of a pickup truck. The cargo moving apparatus includes a male and female guide rails and a bed slide. The female guide rails can be attachable to the pickup truck and extend a length of the truck. The male guide rails can be attached to the bed slide. The female guide rails and male guide rails include a track formed along the rails top and bottom surface, respectively. For example, the tracked formed may be of a tubular shape wherein the female track is an outer tube that almost encompasses the inner tube of the male track. The female and male tracks of the female and male guide rails can mate or interface and when the bed slide is moved from forward to rearward position the interface of the male and female tracks allow the slide to be easily moved.
Vehicle cargo bed structure
A vehicle cargo bed structure includes a bed floor with an accessory attachment track, a tailgate and a tailgate gap cover. The tailgate gap cover has an attachment structure that includes a first part and a second part. The first part is inserted into a channel between side walls of the accessory attachment track. The second part is positioned above the side walls of the accessory attachment track with a fastening member extending between the first part and the second part clamping the attachment structure to the accessory attachment track. The tailgate gap cover is removable and re-attachable to the accessory attachment track. The tailgate gap cover is pivotal between a horizontal orientation with an adjacent tailgate in an open position and an upright orientation with the tailgate in the closed position.
VEHICLE STORAGE SYSTEM
A vehicle storage system may include a deck configured to span substantially a total width of a vehicle bed, four support feet including two front support feet and two rear support feet, a center support extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle bed between the support feet and configured to support the deck, and a drawer assembly. The deck may include raised portions for coupling to an underside of an accessory case, and tie down attachment points that anchor materials to the deck, while transferring load and connecting the storage system to the truck bed. The drawer assembly may extend outward from the deck to allow full opening of the accessory case without removal of the accessory case from the drawer assembly.
Load retaining gate assembly
A load retaining gate assembly is provided to restrain the movement of items stored in the bed of a vehicle. The load retaining gate assembly is made of two gate members arranged in sliding relationship and has at least one compression spring-loaded assembly. One gate member slides into another gate member. A compression spring is held in place within the gate members for biasing the length of the gate assembly against side walls of a vehicle bed. The gate assembly is held in place by the pressure put by the spring against the side walls of the vehicle bed. The gate assembly can be positioned anywhere across the width of the vehicle bed and can be easily removed from its position when not needed and locked in a compressed state.
Tailgate lift apparatus and method
A pickup truck tailgate lift apparatus attachable with no body modification, to create a powered lift function utilizing the tailgate as a load platform. Two side assemblies, which extend a lift mechanism beyond the rear bumper, are mounted over the existing tailgate pivot and upper cable anchor pin so that the tailgate may be opened and closed with respect to the side assemblies in the same manner that it is opened and closed with respect to the cargo box. The vehicle tailgate is attached to an electric drive plate assembly so that the tailgate, and a load place on the tailgate, is raised or lowered as the drive plate assembly is raised and lowered. In one embodiment, an electric motor is placed on each side to drive a treaded rod to move a drive plate up or down.
Motor Vehicle Having an Automatically Controllable Rear-Flap Assembly
A motor vehicle has an automatically controllable rear-tailgate arrangement, which either is comprised of a single pivotable tailgate or a pivotable lower tailgate and a pivotable upper tailgate. An electronic control unit for the motorized control of the pivotable tailgates is associated with the rear-tailgate arrangement assembly. In particular, the control unit is designed to perform the following functionality by an appropriately programmed function module: the control unit evaluates information of a sensor unit for sensing the longitudinal tilt of the motor vehicle; after an opening command by an operating person, the control unit prevents complete opening either of the single rear tailgate or at least of the lower rear tailgate at least in the case of a rearward longitudinal tilt exceeding a defined threshold.
Storage and transportation system
A storage and transportation system includes a vehicle that has a bed. A cart is positioned within the bed and the cart may retain objects within the bed. A pair of rollers is provided and each of the rollers is coupled to the cart. Each of the rollers rollably engages the bed such that the cart may facilitate the objects to be rolled outwardly from the bed. A handle is coupled to the cart and the handle may be manipulated thereby facilitating the cart to be rolled along the bed. The cart is selectively rolled toward the back end of the bed thereby facilitating the objects to be removed from the bed.
Adjustable base plate
An adjustable base plate system includes a first track structure configured to extend along one side of a vehicle cargo area and a second track structure configured to extend along an opposite side of a vehicle cargo area. At least one base plate has a first edge and a second edge opposite of the first edge, wherein the first edge is supported by the first track structure and the second edge is supported by the second track structure. The first track structure and the second track structure each comprise at least a first tier track and a second tier track such that a distance between a bottom surface of the at least one base plate and a support surface of the vehicle cargo area can be adjusted.
