AUTOMATIC SHELVING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE

A smart shelving system for storing and unloading parcels from a vehicle. The system includes a storage rack which is located in the vehicle and includes a plurality of shelves stacked on top of one another in spaced relationship with one another. Each of the shelves has a side edge. A plurality of trays for holding the parcels are positioned on the shelves. The side edge of at least one of the shelves is aligned with at least one opening of the vehicle. At least one unloading mechanism is configured to move the trays from the shelves and through the at least one opening to a location outside of the vehicle.

Truck-mountable detection system

A truck-mountable detection system for detection of a first coupling device of a container, in which the first coupling device is configured for coupling with a second coupling device of a truck-mounted loading equipment, in particular a hook of a hookloader. The detection system includes a data processor and an data capturing device, the data of which can be sent to the data processor. The data capturing device is a stereographic sensor system, and the data processor is configured to automatically recognize the shape of the first coupling device of the container based on the data provided by the stereographic sensor system.

Cargo containers and methods of using thereof for deliveries using multiple different types of trucks

Described herein are systems and methods for using different truck types for deliveries. A package is initially loaded into a specially configured cargo container that can be transported either on a primary truck or a secondary truck. A secondary truck is smaller than a primary truck and is configured to transport fewer cargo containers than the primary truck. An initial leg of the overall delivery (e.g., from a warehouse to a transfer point) is performed using a primary truck. The cargo container is then transferred to a secondary truck, which completes the delivery. Empty cargo containers can be transferred back to a primary truck, e.g., in a stacked or folded manner, for transporting back to the warehouse. The configurations of primary and secondary trucks are such that these transfers can occur at any location (e.g., a parking lot) with minimal human involvement.

Device for moving a load

A device for moving a load is provided. The device includes a platform defining a surface and an edge extending downward therefrom. The device further includes two pairs of opposing legs each defining a top portion pivotally engaged with the platform interior of the edge, wherein each pair of legs has an extended position where each leg extends away from the edge. Each pair of legs further includes a collapsed position where the top portion of each leg extends substantially parallel and interior to the edge, a middle portion of each leg extends through a corresponding slot defined by the edge, and a bottom portion of each leg extends substantially parallel and exterior to the edge.

Locking Mechanism For Roll Off Hoist Containers

A locking mechanism has a guide and a vertically movable plate. The plate is movable in the guide under gravitational influence between a locked position and an unlocked position. A slot is formed in the plate to receive a guide pin. The guide pin maintains the movable plate in the guide. The slot enables axial vertical movement of the plate in the guide. The plate moves into the locked position upon contact with a surface. In this position, the plate projects from the guide to lock a roll off container onto the hoist. The movable plate reverts to the unlocked position upon removal of the surface so that the plate moves into the guide.

MANAGING RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND ACCESSORIES

A vehicle is electrically connected to one or more accessories. The vehicle includes at least one controller that may be configured to identify the accessory based on accessory identification information. The controller may also be configured to provide one or more commands to control an operation of the accessory.

Wheeled vehicle for transferring heavy loads, having a plurality of low-height articulated modules

The wheeled vehicle enables heavy loads that are mounted on low-height legs to be lifted and transported. Indeed, it is provided with a plurality of wheeled modules (6, 7, 19) that are articulated to each other and have large-diameter wheels. The means for raising the load are centrally placed relative to the longitudinal axis of the wheeled modules. The raising thereof by central jacks makes it possible to lift the load (3) and the loading platform (20) thereof, the ends of which rest on each of the end wheeled modules (46, 47) by way of articulated jacks that control the height of the loading platform (20). Application to the transfer of hoods for waste containers to be stored.

A locking system for a vehicle slide out device may have a paddle having a body portion and a flange portion. The system may also have a lever connected to the paddle where the lever has a locking pawl, and at least one pivot aperture. The system may also have a lever support located adjacent the lever, where the lever support may have at least one pivot extending through the at least one pivot aperture. The system may also have a frame member having a plurality of notches selectively aligned with the locking pawl.

The invention described refers to an equipment and corresponding method that enables side sliding load transfer between one vehicle/structure acting as loader, and another vehicle/structure acting as receptor. Both loaders and receptors can be vehicles or piers using a side sliding loading system that includes lifting and lateral displacement equipment. The great innovation of this system is the appearing of carriages consisting of 2 chassis, one inferior and one superior, both mobile and independent, that are coupled to form a single carriage. One of the equipment developed, automatically auto-load/unload standard containers to/from railway wagons and fixed platforms. This equipment can be loaded directly by the pier crane and move autonomously to the loading areas of railway wagons, trucks or buffer areas, where the containers are organized on leaving the port. When groups of these vehicles lined up parallel to the railway track, loaded on one side and empty on the other, they can load and unload the train quickly and simultaneously.
