Force-diverting tail light guard
A force-diverting tail light guard is disclosed for a vehicle having tail lights that project from the body of the vehicle with each tail light having a vehicle facing surface and a rear-facing surface joined by sides. The tail light guard has a base configured to be mounted against the body of the vehicle surrounding the tail light. The base may include a plate that at least partially covers the vehicle-facing surface of the tail light. A cage is configured to be mated to the base and at least partially covers at least the rear-facing surface of the tail light. The base and cage, when mated together around the tail light, at least partially surround the tail light. Attachment structures are disclosed for mounting the tail light guard to the body of the vehicle surrounding the tail light. The tail light guard is configured to divert external forces due to impact around the tail light and directly to the body of the vehicle to prevent impacts from breaking the tail light or rendering the tail light inoperable.
Vehicle Light Bar Cover
A cover for a light bar or similar horizontal lamp for vehicles is described. The cover apparatus is equipped with a rear cover portion and a front cover portion. The front cover portion consists of a cover panel configured to pivot to encompass the light within the apparatus, and to be opened at the will of the user to uncover the light bar. The rear half is equipped with one or more heat dissipation vents which conform to standard heat sinks found on conventional horizontal light bars for vehicles. The shape of the apparatus is aerodynamic such that it eliminates audible vibrations known to cause uncovered light bars to whistle or otherwise emit an unwanted noise when the vehicle is underway. A version with a stationary, translucent front cover portion is preferred, and is fashioned of a single piece of flexible plastic.
LIGHTING ACCESSORY
A lighting accessory for an ATV that includes: an outer tube; an inner tube within the outer tube; a light strip within the inner tube; a top cap at a top end of the outer tube; and a base at the bottom of the outer tube. The light strip preferably includes a plurality of LED lights. The base also preferably includes a threaded rod for connecting the lighting accessory to ATV and a heat shrink application surrounding the base. The outer tube includes a polycarbonate material.
Retractable truck bed lighting system
Described herein are various embodiments of a retractable truck bed lighting system. The lighting system may comprise an illumination device. The illumination device may comprise an upper portion and a lower portion coupled to the upper portion. The upper portion may comprise an upper body, a cap covering a top portion of the upper body, and a diffuser module comprising a light source set within a front wall of the upper body. The lower portion may comprise a lower body surrounding a first cavity, the upper portion fits within the first cavity when the upper portion is in a recessed position and the upper portion extends from the first cavity when the upper portion is in an extended position, and an extension mechanism coupled to the upper portion and the lower portion, the extension mechanism configured to extend the upper portion from the recessed position to the extended position.
Selectively Orientable Headlight Guard
A selectively orientable headlight guard is disclosed for a vehicle having a headlight assembly. The headlight assembly includes a headlight and a plurality of attachment locations around the headlight. The headlight guard has a cage configured to overlie and protect the headlight. Attachment features on the guard are configured to allow the guard to be attached to the headlight assembly in a first orientation relative to the headlight or alternately in a second orientation different from the first orientation relative to the headlight. The attachment features may be associated groups of openings, arced slots, or a separate attachment ring or attachment lugs. The headlight guard can be attached such that the cage is oriented in at least two different directions relative to the headlight to alter the aesthetics of the headlight and headlight guard.
PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A WORK VEHICLE
A protection system for a work vehicle includes a rear portion configured to couple to a chassis of the work vehicle and a top portion configured to couple to a cab of the work vehicle. The top portion is also configured so that at least part of the top portion is positioned above the cab of the work vehicle relative to a ground surface. In addition, a first height of a maximum vertical extent of the top portion relative to the ground surface is substantially equal to a second height of a maximum vertical extent of the rear portion relative to the ground surface. Further, the rear portion and the top portion are separated from one another while the rear portion is coupled to the chassis and the top portion is coupled to the cab.
MOISTURE-ELECTROLYZING APPARATUS FOR LAMP
A moisture-electrolyzing apparatus for a lamp, may include a first electrode, connected to an electrode of a power source and exposed to an internal space of a lamp housing; a second electrode, connected to another electrode of the power source and exposed to the internal space of the lamp housing, with a gap formed between the first electrode and the second electrode; a dielectric, applied to a surface of either the first electrode or the second electrode, the surface facing a remaining one of the first electrode or the second electrode; and an electric discharge passage, formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, in which air in the lamp circulates and in which moisture in the air is electrolyzed by electric discharge occurring between the first electrode and the second electrode.
