LIGHT SYSTEM, METHOD OF FORMING TUNNELS OF LIGHT, A MOBILE 360° LIGHT SYSTEM, AND A METHOD OF CLEANING THE MOBILE 360° LIGHT SYSTEM
A light system comprising: (a) a plurality of light sources connected to a vehicle and creating light that radiates away from the vehicle so that the light substantially surrounds the vehicle; and (b) one or more sensors that detect light from another light source; and wherein one or more of the plurality of light sources are turned off in a direction of the another light source while some of the plurality of light sources remain on so that a tunnel having a reduction or absence of light is formed in the direction of the another light source between the plurality of light sources that remain on.
Vehicle lighting device
Provided is a vehicular lighting device (1) attached to a motorbike (100) that is capable of traveling around corners due to the vehicle body being tilted toward the direction for turning, wherein the vehicular lighting device (1) comprises at least two lamps and a sensor (7) for detecting the surrounding environment toward the rear of the vehicle. The vehicular lighting device (1) comprises a left lighting unit (2L) and a right lighting unit (2R) as the at least two lamps. The sensor (7) is disposed between the left lighting unit (2L) and the right lighting unit (2R) as viewed from rearward of the vehicle.
Light system, method of forming tunnels of light, a mobile 360° light system, and a method of cleaning the mobile 360° light system
A light system having: (a) a plurality of light sources connected to a vehicle and creating light that radiates away from the vehicle so that the light substantially surrounds the vehicle; and (b) one or more sensors that detect light from another light source; and wherein one or more of the plurality of light sources are turned off in a direction of the another light source while some of the plurality of light sources remain on so that a tunnel having a reduction or absence of light is formed in the direction of the another light source between the plurality of light sources that remain on.
VEHICLE CLEANER UNIT AND VEHICLE CLEANER SYSTEM
A vehicle cleaner unit is configured to clean a cleaning object mounted near a bumper or a grille of a vehicle. The vehicle cleaner unit includes a blower configured to be attached to a rear surface of the bumper or the grille. The bumper or the grille is provided with an air outlet for jetting air blown from the blower toward the cleaning object.
VEHICLE MONITORING APPARATUS
A vehicle monitoring apparatus including: a camera disposed in a vehicle lamp; a guide duct configured to guide outside air introduced into the vehicle; and a nozzle connected to the guide duct and configured to discharge the air to a front side of the camera, thereby improving stability and reliability.
HEADLIGHT OXIDATION PROTECTOR
A cover for the headlights of a vehicle is provided herein. The covers are intended to be used on the vehicle while parked during the day to help to prevent and eliminate headlights getting oxidized. Oxidation makes headlights look foggy, cloudy, yellow and, in some cases, physically rough. Embodiments of the protector are individually designed and manufactured to fit various makes, models, and years of vehicles.
VIDEO SYSTEM FOR TRACTOR-TRAILERS
There are disclosed video systems and methods that use a camera in a lamp housing for a tractor-trailer. Within the housing is an electrical subsystem with a PLC interface and an electrical connector disposed outside the housing and adapted to connect to the trailer and draw power therefrom. A lamp mounted in the housing is connected and adapted to draw power through the electrical subsystem and emit light through a cover of the housing. The camera mounted in the housing has a field of view through the cover. The camera is connected and adapted to draw power through the electrical subsystem and to capture images through the cover and is further connected to the PLC interface. The PLC interface converts data from the camera and transmits the converted data through the electrical connector to the trailer.
STAMPED REAR FRAME BOLSTER
A rear bolster for a cargo transport includes a sheet metal stamping having a forward side configured to face under the cargo transport, and a rear side configured to face rearward of the cargo transport. A vertically-extending base surface is formed by the rear side. A left taillight mount is provided adjacent a left widthwise end of the sheet metal stamping. A right taillight mount is provided adjacent a right widthwise end of the sheet metal stamping. A relief is embossed rearwardly from the base surface to form a loading dock engagement feature. The relief includes a first portion extending over and/or under the left taillight mount, a second portion extending over and/or under the right taillight mount, and a third portion continuous with the first and second portions and extending between the left and right taillight mounts.
Illumination assembly and emitter assembly
A heated light enclosure having an adaptable heating system is provided with a controlled heating system to deliver enough heat to a lens on a lamp assembly to remove snow, frost, and/or condensation without overheating the lens. By heating the lens using a combination of one or more of PTC heaters, heat sinks and heat pipes, accumulation of snow, ice, or vapor is mitigated or eliminated from a surface of the lens, thereby enabling light to transmit through the lens. Applications include lamps and bulbs on conveyance devices, including vehicles, boats, planes, and trains, as well as sedentary structures, such as lamp posts, street lights, railroad crossing markers and lights, and airport ground and runway lighting systems.
ILLUMINATED SIGNS FOR VEHICLES, MOUNTING SYSTEMS THEREFOR AND RELATED METHODS
A self-contained illuminated sign for mounting on a vehicle is disclosed. The sign includes a front panel, a rear panel situated opposite and substantially parallel to the front panel in spaced relation therefrom to define a space therebetween, and a light source comprising a plurality of LEDs. The light source is positioned between the front and rear panels and is configured to emit light that emanates from the front panel. The front panel is thus backlit to display indicia. A system for supporting a self-contained illuminated sign on a vehicle is also disclosed. The system includes the sign and a separate mounting frame mountable on a vehicle. The mounting frame is configured to removably receive the sign and, when the sign is received in the mounting frame, to surround a perimeter of the sign while permitting visibility of the front display area. Related methods are also disclosed.
