HEADLIGHT WITH A MODULAR PROJECTION MODULE FOR ENHANCING ILLUMINATION INTENSITY
20190061600 · 2019-02-28 · ·

A headlight with a modular projection module for enhancing illumination intensity includes a base, a lighting module, a reflective cover, a light-shielding member and a lens assembly. The base has a connection portion obliquely formed on a top of the base. The lighting module is mounted on the connection portion of the base. The reflective cover is mounted on the connection portion of the base with an inner reflective surface facing the lighting module. The lens assembly is mounted on a front portion of the base. The light-shielding member is mounted on a rear portion of the lens assembly. As the lighting module is located below a horizontal center line of the lens assembly and the connection portion of the base is obliquely arranged, the reflective cover can significantly reflect light emitted from the lighting module to enhance illumination intensity of the headlight.

A system (90) for emitting shaped light (26) from a vehicle (10) and for projecting the shaped light (26) onto a surface (18) external to the vehicle (10), the system comprising a controller, one or more light sources and at least one light emitter, wherein the at least one light emitter is arranged to emit at least a first light signal directed towards said surface (18) external to the vehicle (10), the light emitter comprising a projection head arranged to direct light externally to the vehicle (10) and a beam shaper element, wherein the at least one light emitter is coupled to at least one of said light sources by one or more optical fibers.

EMBLEM FOR VEHICLES
20190031118 · 2019-01-31 ·

An emblem for vehicles includes a substrate formed of a light-transmissive resin, the substrate having a proximal face and a distal face and a decoration layer applied to the proximal face, the decoration layer including a metalloid or a metalloid alloy deposited on the surface of the proximal face, a transparent frontal cover overlying the decoration layer, and a light source that illuminates the substrate, so that the light from the light source crosses the transparent frontal cover. This permits the emblem to maintain its metallic aspect in any lighting condition, so that the decorative function is be improved by adding illumination in appropriate conditions while preserving its 3-D image.

Vehicle headlamp control device

A vehicle headlamp control device includes a headlamp that irradiates an area in front of a vehicle, a camera that captures an image of the area in front of the vehicle, a pedestrian detection portion configured to detect a pedestrian in front of the vehicle from an image captured by the camera, and a control portion configured to control the headlamp and cause the headlamp to irradiate the pedestrian so that a given-shaped part that is not irradiated is formed at a location of an eye of the pedestrian, or a given-shaped part irradiated by dimmed light is formed at the location of the eye of the pedestrian.

ILLUMINATED VIRTUAL HANDLE FOR POWER DOOR SYSTEM IN MOTOR VEHICLES

A closure system for a handleless door of a motor vehicle equipped with a power release latch assembly, a power opening presenter assembly, and an illumination assembly configured to illuminate a grasp area (virtual handle) of the handleless door upon the handleless door being moved to a partially-open position via the power opening presenter assembly.

Light system

A window for a vehicle is provided herein. The window includes a light guide disposed between an outer panel and an inner panel. A light source is optically coupled with the light guide and is configured to direct excitation light towards a luminescent structure. The luminescent structure luminesces in response to receiving the excitation light. A controller is configured to illuminate the light source when an electronic device having an application thereon is in operation.

Illuminated air catcher passage
