Moisture-electrolyzing apparatus for lamp
A moisture-electrolyzing apparatus for a lamp, may include a first electrode, connected to an electrode of a power source and exposed to an internal space of a lamp housing; a second electrode, connected to another electrode of the power source and exposed to the internal space of the lamp housing, with a gap formed between the first electrode and the second electrode; a dielectric, applied to a surface of either the first electrode or the second electrode, the surface facing a remaining one of the first electrode or the second electrode; and an electric discharge passage, formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, in which air in the lamp circulates and in which moisture in the air is electrolyzed by electric discharge occurring between the first electrode and the second electrode.
LIGHTING FIXTURE FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle lighting fixture includes a light source, a heat sink thermally connected to the light source, and an air blower. The heat sink includes: a base portion extending outward, relative to the light source, in an intersection direction intersecting with an optical axis of the light source; and a heat dissipation portion provided at an outer portion of the base portion in the intersection direction and dissipating heat to the air blown from the air blower. The heat dissipation portion includes at least a frontward-extending portion extending frontward relative to the light source.
VEHICLE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle lighting assembly is provided herein. The vehicle lighting assembly includes a substrate configured to direct excitation light therethrough. A reflector is disposed along a portion of the substrate. The reflector has an offset orientation. A luminescent structure is disposed on an opposing side of the reflector from the substrate.
RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A receptacle connector assembly is presented herein. The receptacle connector assembly includes a receptacle terminal having a connection portion defining an aperture configured to receive a corresponding plug terminal along a longitudinal axis and a terminal housing defining an opening and a cavity in which the connection portion is disposed. The connection portion is sized, shaped, and arranged within the cavity to be movable along a lateral axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
Rear door open/close switch
A rear door open/close switch for being installed in a rear door of a vehicle. The switch includes an arm including an operating portion to be pressed when opening or closing the door, a switching portion that outputs a signal to open or lock the door, a spring member for pressing the arm in a rotational movement direction, and a housing that houses the arm, the switching portion and the spring member. The arm is arranged such that a rotational axis thereof is located nearer to a vehicle front side than the operating portion. When the arm is rotationally moved from an initial position to a switching position, an end portion of the spring member receives a force from a portion of the arm located nearer to the vehicle front side than the rotational axis and the spring member is elastically deformed by the force and thereby presses the arm.
SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION
The sensors on a vehicle can have difficulties identifying surrounding objects in the environment. Markers with predetermined properties that match with reading capabilities of the on-vehicle sensors would provide information about the surrounding environment. In particular, adjacent vehicles may have markers with predetermined properties that match with reading capabilities of the vehicle sensors. The sensors would obtain information about the surrounding vehicles on the road, which could be used to provide context for decision making of the advanced driver assistance system.
COMBINED REAR EXTERIOR LAMP AND CLEANING SYSTEM FOR CLEANING A REAR WINDOW OF A VEHICLE
A combined rear exterior lamp and cleaning system including: a lens for the rear exterior lamp of the vehicle, the lens has an inner surface and an outer surface, a cleaning arrangement for providing a cleaning fluid to an exterior surface of the rear window, an inlet connectable to a cleaning fluid hose for providing cleaning fluid to the cleaning arrangement. The cleaning arrangement includes a channel generally parallel with at least one of the lens inner surface or the lens outer surface, and an array of outlets in fluid communication with the channel. The channel is attached to the lens and is adapted to transport the cleaning fluid from the inlet to the array of outlets located on the outer side of the lens for providing the cleaning fluid to the rear window.
MOTOR VEHICLE LIGHTING DEVICE IMPLEMENTING A FUNCTION FOR WRITING ON THE GROUND
A lighting device for a motor vehicle, including a first lighting module adapted to project a pixelized first beam with a first resolution and a second lighting module adapted to project a pixelized low beam type second beam with a second resolution lower than the first resolution, the first and second lighting modules being such that the first and second beams overlap vertically at least in part to form a global beam, the device including a control unit able to control selectively a plurality of pixels of the first and second beams so as to project a motif in the global beam, characterized in that the control unit is adapted to control at least one pixel of each of the first and second beams when the motor vehicle enters a turn so as to create a movement of the motif in the global beam.
DEVICE COMBINING STOP LAMPS AND CARGO LAMPS
A lighting device for a motor vehicle, the lighting device including a vehicle stop-lamp assembly and a cargo-lamp assembly. The lighting device includes a common lens that is configured, on the one hand, to form at least one stop-lamp light beam and, on the other hand, to form at least one cargo-lamp light beam. It furthermore includes a first group of light sources that are configured to emit stop-lamp light beams and a second group of light sources that are configured to emit cargo-lamp light beams, the light sources of the first group and of the second group being arranged on a common electronic holder.
Headlamp assemblies with bezel structures having airflow openings
A headlamp assembly including a light source element, an outer lens, a fan, and a bezel structure, wherein the bezel structure is disposed forward of the fan in a vehicle-longitudinal direction and includes an air flow directing feature directing air flow from the fan toward the inner surface of the lens. Embodiments of the headlamp assembly generate light using low-temperate light emitting diodes (LEDs) and direct air flow over components thermodynamically coupled to the LEDs such that the air absorbs heat from the components and distributes the heat throughout the headlamp assembly, especially on the inner surface of the outer lens to reduce the condensation thereon. Further, embodiments may include a bezel structure having a pair of vehicle-forward concave sections disposed at the forward end of the bezel structure that disperse air through the headlamp assembly in a wide aperture to distribute thermal energy more equally throughout the headlamp assembly.
