LIGHT-EMITTING EMBLEM
A light-emitting emblem includes a light-emitting element, a reflector to reflect light emitted from the light-emitting element, a housing that houses the light-emitting element and the reflector, and a cover including an emblem on a surface thereof and a light-emitting portion on the surface to allow light emitted from the light-emitting element to be extracted therethrough, the cover being attached to the housing so as to cover the light-emitting element and the reflector. The light-emitting element is disposed such that an optical axis thereof is directed to the cover. The reflector includes two side walls facing each other with the light-emitting element positioned therebetween and extending from the housing side toward the cover, and an opening outlined by end portions of the two side walls on the cover side. Light emitted from the light-emitting element is reflected at an inner surface of the reflector and guided to the light-emitting portion.
LIGHT-EMITTING EMBLEM
A light-emitting emblem includes a light-emitting element as a light source, a housing that houses the light-emitting element and includes an opening, a cover including an emblem on a surface thereof and a light-emitting portion on the surface to allow light emitted from the light-emitting element to be extracted therethrough, the cover being attached to the housing so as to cover the opening, and at least one of a first rib on the housing and a second rib on the cover, the first rib extending from the housing toward the cover, and the second rib extending from the cover toward the housing.
LED light hood scoop for a jeep wrangler
The present invention provides a method of installing a hood scoop to a designated recessed area of a hood of a Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon vehicle comprising: providing the hood scoop having a protective member and a hood attachment member having a first cable access feature wherein: edge profile of the hood attachment member matches edge profile of the designated recessed area; the designated recessed area includes a hood aperture that provides access to the vehicle's electrical power and control systems; attaching the attachment member to the designated recessed area using conventional attachment means; and attaching a light fixture to the hood scoop wherein the light fixture's cables pass through the first cable access feature and the hood aperture for communication with the vehicle's electrical power and control systems. The present invention also provides the hood scoop described herein.
VEHICLE
Based on information about a vehicle, the information can be projected and displayed onto a road surface or the like. An image projection apparatus, which projects an image, includes an acquisition unit that acquires the information about the vehicle, and an image projection unit that projects the image based on the information acquired by the acquisition unit.
Heater and Electromagnetic Illuminator Heater
An optical face protection apparatus is provided having a support body, at least one lens and an elongate heating element. The support body is configured to be supported on a user. The at least one lens is carried by the support body and is configured to hold the at least one lens over an eye facial region of a user. The elongate heating element has an elongate tube and a heat source provided in the tube, carried by the body and configured to traverse an expansive surface area of the at least one lens.
System for Controlling Opening of Aperture Tube Door
A system for controlling opening of an aperture tube door, including a control component, a detection component, a sensing area and an indication component. The detection component is connected to the control component, and the indication component is connected to the control component. When detecting the sensing signal from the sensing area, the detection component sends out activation signal. When the activation signal has been received, the control component sends to the indication component indication control signal to control the indication component to send out aperture tube door status prompt, and the control component sends out a driving control signal configured to open the aperture tube door. A user can know that his/her touch or press has been detected through the status prompt sent by the indication component, so that the internal structure of the aperture tube door or aperture tube assembly will not be damaged.
CHARGING INLET APPARATUS
A charging inlet apparatus includes an inlet box and one or more electrical components. The inlet box is provided at a charging opening of a vehicle. A charging inlet is disposed in the inlet box. One or more electrical components are mounted on a mounting surface of the inlet box from a vehicle cabin side of the vehicle and have a waterproof object area. The mounting surface is inclined toward the vehicle cabin side with respect to a vertical direction. The inlet box includes one or more canopy portions that project from the inlet box so as to be located over the one or more electrical components.
Method for correcting a light pattern, automotive lighting device and automotive lighting assembly
A method for correcting a first light pattern provided by a lighting device with a matrix of light sources. The method includes steps of providing some resolution data of the light sources, simulating a test map of the light pattern using the resolution data, and simulating distortion maps of the test map. Each distortion map is associated to a distortion factor. Also included is obtaining a real distorted light pattern, comparing the real distorted light pattern with the distortion maps, finding a distortion map which is the most similar to the real distorted map and applying a correction factor to correct the real distorted light pattern, thus obtaining a corrected light pattern. The correction factor is related to the distortion factor of the distortion map which is the most similar to the real distorted map.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY HEATER SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND METHODS
A heater system for an LED light assembly having a lens includes a flexible composite positioned around an outer surface of the lens. The flexible composite includes a polymer base layer, a plurality of conductive buses provided on the base layer, and a resistive layer electrically connecting the plurality of buses to form a circuit. The resistive layer includes conductor particles dispersed in a polymer matrix. The resistive layer has a crystalline first condition prior to applying electricity to one of the buses and an amorphous second condition in response to applying electricity to one of the buses.
Heater and electromagnetic illuminator heater
An electromagnetic illuminator heater is provided having a heat generating wire and an elongate encasement of thermally transmissive, temperature mitigating, and electrically insulative material. The material encompasses the elongate heating wire. A heater for devices is also provided.
