Auxiliary Spare Tire Brake Light For Vehicles
An auxiliary spare tire brake light is provided for a vehicle having a spare tire with a rim that has spokes and openings and that is secured on lugs at the back of the vehicle. The auxiliary spare tire brake light includes a support disc having a central portion and a peripheral portion. An array of openings is formed in the central portion of the support disc and the openings are positioned to fit over the lugs at the back of the vehicle for positioning the support on the lugs behind the rim of the spare tire. An annular race extends around the peripheral portion of the support and a plurality of lights in the form of LEDs is disposed in the race. The LEDs are arrayed in a closely spaced substantially continuous array around the support to form a ring of LEDs. A wire and electrical connector electrically connect the plurality of LEDs to the brake circuitry of the vehicle so that the LEDs are illuminated when the vehicle's brake pedal is depressed, A first portion of the ring of LEDs align with and project light directly through the openings in the rim of the spare tire to be seen from behind as an indication that the vehicle is braking. A second portion of the ring of LEDs aligns behind) the spokes and reflects off of the backs of the spokes to silhouette the rim against the glow of the reflected light.
LIGHT ASSEMBLY FOR ATTACHMENT TO A SURFACE OF A VEHICLE
A light assembly for attachment to a surface. The light assembly includes a base configured to be coupled to the surface and a light head coupled to the base and including a light source. The light head is movable relative to the base from a predetermined position. The light assembly further includes a motor coupled to the base and the light head to move the light head relative to the base and a remote configured to control movement of the light head with respect to the base. The remote including an actuator operable to return the light head to the predetermined position.
Spotlight Modular Assembly for Charging Inlets
A spotlight modular assembly for providing external illumination to a charging inlet includes a first frame having a plurality of locking devices securing the spotlight modular assembly to the charging inlet, a second frame, and a circuit carrier and an illumination source electrically connected to the circuit carrier. The circuit carrier and the illumination source are encapsulated within the first frame and the second frame. A light of the illumination source comes out through the second frame. The spotlight modular assembly is removably attached to the charging inlet with the light of the illumination source directed toward the charging inlet.
Multi-purpose vehicle
A multi-purpose vehicle includes a load carrier deck supported to a vehicle body frame which is supported on a ground surface via front wheels and rear wheels. The load carrier deck includes a deck constituting unit having a bottom plate, a left wall, a right wall, a front wall and a rear wall. A lamp for illuminating inside of the load carrier deck is provided in the deck constituting unit.
DOWNLIGHTING SIGNAL AND ILLUMINATION MIRROR HEAD FOR VEHICLE
A mirror assembly for vehicle is disclosed. The mirror assembly includes three configurations of extra illumination to the passenger loading area in addition to the typical mirror function for providing the vehicle driver the rear and/or side view of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the mirror assembly comprises two clam shells, and/or a lighting pod and/or two mirror heads that are supported by a supporting arm. In some embodiments, the mirror assembly is mounted on the school bus through the clam shells. In addition, a side lighting device is mounted on the right side of the vehicle for providing extra illumination to the passenger loading area.
Lighted guide post assembly for boat trailer
A lighted guide post assembly for a boat trailer is provided. The assembly includes a square tubular angled support post that attaches to a boat trailer, a translucent circular outer tube that covers the square support post, and strips of lights that suspend within the interior of the outer tube between the outer tube and the square support post. This arrangement allows the guide post to glow on four sides without light bleeding together from adjacent sides of the guide post.
Vehicle alert system
The Vehicle Alert System has an RF transmitter system which is activated by a steering wheel switch which in turn signals matching receivers in other nearby vehicles. Upon activation, multiple receivers on other so equipped vehicles will detect the originating direction of the alert. A single board computer (SBC) will then activate a respective speaker on the interior of the receiving vehicle to indicate the direction of the alert. A dash mounted panel with LED indicators may also be provided. The device is also capable of disabling any audio entertainment systems in the receiving vehicle thereby ensuring that the warning signal is heard. A bright front mounted purple light would alert pedestrians to potential danger.
DETACHABLE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a lighting assembly moveable back and forth between an attached position and a detached position. The lighting assembly spans from a first rail assembly of a vehicle to a second rail assembly of the vehicle when the lighting assembly is in the attached position. A vehicle lighting method includes, when a lighting assembly is in an attached position, engaging a first end portion of the lighting assembly with a first rail assembly of a vehicle, and when the lighting assembly is in the attached position, engaging an opposite, second end portion of the lighting assembly with a second rail assembly of the vehicle. The lighting assembly is configured to illuminate an area adjacent a vehicle when the lighting assembly is in the attached position.
MULTI-COLORED VEHICLE REAR LAMP
A lamp for the rear of a vehicle is disclosed with a light transmissive cover having a red first illuminated surface area and a clear second illuminated surface area. It has a first LED light emitter located directly beneath the red first area, a second LED light emitter located directly beneath the clear second area, and a third LED light emitter, also located directly beneath said clear second area. The third red LED light emitter is for emitting red light through the clear second area simultaneously with light transmitted through the red first area, whereby the first and second areas are adapted to collectively form a contiguous red illuminated surface area.
