REMOVABLE AND TRANSPARENT VEHICLE TOP COMPRISING ONE OR MORE LIGHTING ELEMENTS
The invention is directed to a vehicle top that can be used with an SUV or other jeep-like vehicle with a removable top. The disclosed top includes a transparent portion, which include a sunroof comprising one or more panels. The top can further include interior lighting elements that allow the interior of the vehicle to be illuminated as desired by the use. The lighting elements can be customizable with regard to placement, color, light pattern, intensity, and the like. The lighting element and sunroof can be controlled wirelessly through the user’s phone or other device or can be manually operated.
Lighted Applique for Mounting to an Automotive Body Panel
A lighted applique for a vehicle body panel including an opaque body panel applique and one or more display element cutouts each having a cutout profile formed in the opaque body panel applique. At least one non-opaque display element is mounted within the one or more display element cutouts such that a panel engagement surface is in contact with a panel exterior surface. At least one LED strip is mounted within the at least one LED strip channel and an electrical connection assembly is in communication with the at least one LED strip.
LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR TRUCK AND TRAILER MOUNTED VEHICLES
A wireless lighting system used with demountable equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts (TMFL). The system includes a transmitter installed in a lighting harness or trailer lighting socket on a transporting vehicle. When the transporting vehicle's notification lights or signals (turn signals, tail lights, brake lights, clearance lights, reverse lights) are activated, a wireless signal is transmitted to a wireless receiver located on the TMFL, and a corresponding light or lights are activated on the TMFL. The system utilizes the power source of the TMFL to power the notification lights of the TMFL while being transported. Further, when the forklift is dismounted and in operation, the wireless lighting system is disabled until the forklift is returned to the transport position on the transport vehicle. This prevents actuation of the lights on the forklift unless the forklift is on the transport vehicle.
VEHICLE LIGHTING FIXTURE
When light is off, a transparent appearance is obtained, while when the light is on, light is seen through a transparent spot. The present invention includes a light source portion and a reflective portion. The light source portion emits light. The light source portion is disposed at a position shifted with respect to an emitting direction of emitted light from the reflective portion. The reflective portion reflects the light from the light source portion and emits it in a predetermined direction. The reflective portion is constituted by a transparent member with a refractive index at least in a visible light area larger than 1. As a result, in the present invention, the transparent appearance is obtained when the light is off, while the light is seen through the transparent spot when the light is on.
FLEXIBLE DIRECTIONAL VEHICLE WARNING LIGHT
Disclosed is a directional warning light designed to bend along its longitudinal axis up to about 30° so as to conform to curved vehicle surfaces. Flexible components of the disclosed embodiments allow the bending and include a bendable optic, bendable base, and bendable circuit substrate.
TURN SIGNAL LAMP FOR OUTSIDE MIRROR
A turn signal lamp for an outside mirror is disclosed. The turn signal lamp comprises a lens and a light source module coupled to one side of the lens. The light source module includes a printed circuit board (PCB), a PCB assembly including a light emitting diode (LED) disposed on the PCB to output light, and a light source module case configured to accommodate the PCB assembly in an internal space. The light source module case includes a recess formed horizontally along a circumference of a surface of the light source module case. The lens includes a lens protrusion in which a part of the lens protrudes in a shape corresponding to the recess. The lens protrusion is inserted into the recess to come into close contact with a front surface of the recess, so that the light source module and the lens are coupled to each other.
EXTENDIBLE AND RETRACTIBLE LIGHTING TOWER SYSTEM
A lighting tower system is provided. The lighting tower system includes a tower positioned in an upright orientation within a bed of a vehicle. The tower includes a base tube section and an upper tube section. The base and upper tube sections include a common longitudinal axis and are arranged to slide relative to one another in a telescoping relationship to move each tower between a retracted position and a fully extended position. The lighting tower system includes a light assembly coupled to and extending from the upper tube section of the tower. The light assembly is configured to rotate with respect to the common longitudinal axis and to tilt with respect to an axis perpendicular to the common longitudinal axis. The lighting tower system includes a mounting configuration configured to attach and detach the tower to the bed of the vehicle in the upright orientation.
HOUSING FOR CONNECTING A LIGHT BAR TO A VEHICLE
A housing for connecting a light bar to a vehicle comprises at least a front surface comprising a lighting aperture, a first side surface, a second side surface opposite the first side surface, and a top surface defining a hollow interior. The housing further comprises at least a first bracket and a second bracket located within the hollow interior. The first bracket is configured to connect a first interior face of the housing to a first side of the light bar while the second bracket is configured to connect a second interior face of the housing to a second side of the light bar. At least a portion of at least one of the front surface, the first side surface, the second side surface, the first bracket, and/or the second bracket is configured to connect to a surface of the vehicle.
