SYSTEM FOR AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING IN-VEHICLE ENVIRONMENT BASED ON PURPOSE OF USING VEHICLE
Proposed are a system for and a method of controlling an in-vehicle environment based on the purpose of using a vehicle. The system includes a recognition unit configured to acquire behavioral information of an occupant, in-vehicle voice information, and seat-position information, a determination unit configured to determine a behavioral pattern of the occupant or the purpose of using a vehicle, using the information transferred through the recognition unit, and a controller configured to control at least one of in-vehicle illumination and a window transparency level according to the purpose of using the vehicle or according to a user's preference.
MULTIFUNCTION VEHICLE LAMP
A lamp for a vehicle or other object that includes multiple functions. In one aspect, the lamp includes a first circuit for emitting a first color light (such as red light), and at least a second circuit for emitting a second color of light (such as amber light). In another aspect, the lamp optionally includes a microcontroller that may be programmed to control the activation of the different colored lamp circuits based on lamp location information, and based on an operating mode.

DISPLAY DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
An object of the present invention is to provide a display device for a vehicle which brings a relation between a linear display section of a display panel placed at a dashboard and a linear lighting placed at the dashboard. A display device for a vehicle includes a display panel and a linear lighting placed at a dashboard of an automobile, a linear lighting placed on a lining of a door on a driver seat side, and a linear lighting placed on a lining of a door on a passenger seat side. The display panel is a panel with liquid crystal on its full range, and includes a linear display section which is continuous with an end of the linear lighting. The linear lighting and the linear display section are capable of linked light emission.
Dynamic lighting and sensor adjustment for occupant monitoring
Systems and methods to proactively adapt image sensor settings of an occupant monitoring system to accommodate ambient lighting changes are provided. The system may track current ambient light, track the driver, and predict upcoming changing lighting conditions. Sensors are used to predict when the ambient light will change and preemptively adjust to prevent dark or washout images. The sensor adjustment may be timed so that the adjustment is made just in time or concurrently with the change in ambient light conditions. The system may predict when the light on the occupant's face will change and proactively readjust the settings of the sensor to accommodate the changed lighting conditions.

METHOD FOR PREVENTING A COLLISION BETWEEN A MOTOR VEHICLE AND AN OBJECT, USING A LIGHT MODULE
A method for preventing a collision between a motor vehicle and at least one target object, the motor vehicle includes a detection system capable of detecting the target object and a warning system including at least one light module. The method includes detecting the target object and determining a position and a speed of the target object using the detection system. The method further includes estimating a critical trajectory likely to be followed by the target object in order to collide with the vehicle depending on the position and the speed of the target object, the critical trajectory being associated with a collision risk/collision time relationship. The method additional includes transmitting at least one light warning to the driver of the vehicle using the light module of the warning system.
Lighting Device for the Interior of a Motor Vehicle
A lighting device includes a facet body, the interior of which is translucent and which includes a surface made of a plurality of flat facets. The facet body is arranged on an opening formed in a cover that outwardly delimits an inner region of the lighting device. The surface of the facet body includes a first surface section and a second surface section, the first surface section is outwardly exposed via the opening and is translucent, and the second surface section lies in the inner region and has a reflective layer with the exception of one or more translucent surface regions. A plurality of light sources are arranged in the inner region such that the light sources emit light into the facet body via the translucent surface region(s) of the second surface section.
System and Method for Illuminating Charging Port of Electric Vehicle
An embodiment system for illuminating a charging port of an electric vehicle is provided. The charging port is provided in a vehicle body for supplying electrical power to a vehicle driving battery, and the system includes a charging port door configured to open and close the charging port, and a lamp device disposed on the charging port door and configured to illuminate the charging port.
