Method of communicating between work machines using li-fi communication protocol

An agricultural work vehicle includes a chassis, a cab mounted to the chassis and including a work space for an operator to control the work vehicle, and a controller for controlling operation of the work vehicle. The work vehicle further includes a lighting system having at least one array field light for illuminating an area on or around the work vehicle. A light control module is disposed in electrical communication with the controller and is configured to operably control the at least one array field light. The controller transmits a signal to the light control module, and the at least one array field light transmits a light signal corresponding to the signal which is receivable by a receiving module on another work vehicle or implement.

Header reel illumination

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for emitting light from a header reel are disclosed. More particularly, systems, methods, and apparatuses for emitting light at one or more locations along a bat tube of a header reel are disclosed. In some instances, a light source may be provided on the bat tube between adjacent reel fingers coupled to the bat tube. In some instances, the light source may be provided at an aperture formed in the bat tube. The emitted light provides for illumination and operator visualization during, for example, agricultural operations performed at night or during low ambient light conditions.

Implement protection system

An agricultural system that includes a towable agricultural implement. The towable agricultural implement includes a tow bar assembly. A wing tool bar pivotally couples to the tow bar assembly or to a work vehicle. The wing tool bar is configured to transition between a deployed configuration and a retracted configuration. A plurality of row units attach to the wing tool bar. An implement protection system detects an obstruction in a path of the towable agricultural implement. The implement protection system includes a proximity sensor coupled to the towable agricultural implement. The proximity sensor emits a proximity signal indicative of the obstruction. A controller couples to the proximity sensor and receives the proximity signal indicative of the obstruction and emits a warning signal.

The disclosure provides a vehicle approach notification device and a picking truck. The vehicle approach notification device includes a first illumination portion provided on a cab capable of elevation; a second and a third illumination portion provided on a vehicle body incapable of elevation; and a control unit that (1) turns on the first illumination portion and off other illumination portions when a travel state of the vehicle body is backward travel and an elevation position is lower than a predetermined threshold value; (2) turns on the second illumination portion and off other illumination portions when the travel state is backward travel and the elevation position is equal to or higher than the threshold value; (3) turns on the third illumination portion and off other illumination portions when the travel state of vehicle is forward travel; and (4) turns off all illumination portions when the travel state is travel stop.

Method of controlling an agricultural vehicle lighting system and system thereof

A control system of an off-road work vehicle for performing a work function includes a controller for controlling the work vehicle, a light control module for controlling a lighting system of the work vehicle, and a sensing device disposed in communication with the controller. The lighting system includes a array field light that is operably controllable to project a light emission. The sensing device signals a location to be illuminated by the array field light to the controller, and the light control module operably controls an output of the array field light to direct substantially its entire light emission at the location.

Systems and methods of visual guidance

A method includes performing, with a compacting machine, a first pass to compact a first portion of a work area to compact a first lane. A guidance system acquires position information representing the first compacted lane. A second pass is performed to compact a second portion of the work area adjacent the first portion. The guidance system acquires current position information of the machine representing current positioning of the machine during the second pass. Comparing the position information of the machine representing the first compacted lane with the current position information, determines whether the current positioning overlaps the first compacted lane a specified amount. When the second pass is determined to overlap the first compacted lane, in-compliance visual indicia is generated. When the second pass is determined to not overlap the first compacted lane with the specified amount, out of compliance visual indicia is generated.

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND CONTROLLERS TO ENHANCE HEAVY EQUIPMENT WARNING

Systems and methods to activate one or more indicators, positioned on heavy hydraulic-based equipment to provide indication that the heavy hydraulic-based equipment is in an operation are described herein. The system may include a hydraulic initiation lever positioned proximate an operator's seat of the equipment and configured to be actuatable to an inactive position and an active position, the hydraulic initiation lever when in the active position configured to generate an unlock signal to thereby enable hydraulic operation of the heavy hydraulic-based equipment. The system may include one or more indicators configured to receive the unlock signal, the one or more indicators configured to activate in response to reception of the unlock signal and to deactivate in response to no reception of the unlock signal.
