Vehicles and methods of operating vehicles are disclosed herein. A vehicle includes a main frame, a work implement, and a control system. The work implement is supported by the main frame and configured to carry a payload in use of the vehicle. The control system is supported by the main frame and configured to control operation of the vehicle. The control system includes a payload measurement system configured to provide payload input indicative of a variable payload carried by the work implement in use of the vehicle and a controller coupled to the payload measurement system.

Lighting arrangement for an attachment and a self-propelled harvester

An arrangement comprising an attachment and a self-propelled harvester is disclosed, with the attachment configured to harvest a crop and having a middle region for removable connection to a feeder housing of the self-propelled harvester. The attachment also includes lateral regions positioned adjacent to the middle region, with each having a bottom surface extending in a horizontal direction and a rear wall extending in a vertical direction. Lighting devices are positioned on the attachment above the respective bottom surface and below the top edge of the rear wall with light cones directed in the driving direction to illuminate a region in front of the attachment beyond the front edge of the bottom surface.

Work machine management system

A work machine management system includes: an input data acquisition unit that acquires input data generated by an operation of an input device; a turn signal data setting unit that sets turn signal data for controlling a direction indicator of a work machine to each of a plurality of courses branching from an intersection based on the input data; and an output unit that outputs the turn signal data to the work machine.

A construction machine in the form of a road paver or feeder vehicle includes a chassis and a hopper, wherein at least one lighting arrangement is mounted on the chassis. The lighting arrangement comprises at least one light source, and the lighting arrangement is configured to illuminate an area in front of the construction machine in the direction of travel. The construction machine further has an object detection system for detecting an object located in front of the construction machine in the direction of travel, and the illumination emitted by the lighting arrangement can be changed as a function of the detection of an object by means of the object detection system.

OPERATION-BASED OBJECT DETECTION FOR A WORK MACHINE

A work machine control device determines an operation mode of a work machine. The operation mode indicates that a subset of a set of zones near the work machine are to be ignored for object detection alerts. The work machine control device receives, from one or more object detection sensors, an indication that an object is within a zone of the set of zones. The work machine control device may determine to not provide an alert for the object based on a determination that the zone is within the subset of the set of zones, or may provide the alert for the object based on a determination that the zone is not within the subset of the set of zones.

VEHICLE CONTROL BY A REMOTE OPERATOR

A computer implemented vehicle control method may include obtaining a sensed input from an operator remote from a vehicle, recognizing and associating the sensed input with a vehicle action and outputting control signals to the vehicle to cause the vehicle to carry out the vehicle action.

ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT SENSOR ROOF

A vehicle may include a movable roof, a sensor supported by the roof, and an actuator for selectively raising and lowering the roof.

CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A MACHINE

A control system for a machine includes a machine, a plurality of proximity sensors coupled to the machine, and a controller in communication with the plurality of proximity sensors. The controller is configured to activate and monitor proximity information from the proximity sensors during a containerization mode and indicate an alert if the proximity information is below a threshold distance.

Vehicle stability warning system

A work machine that has a chassis, a payload section, a controller, a payload sensor in communication with the controller, and an orientation sensor that identifies the orientation of the work machine to the controller. The controller determines a center of gravity for the work machine considering a payload weight identified by the payload sensor and sends an alert when the location of the center of gravity and the orientation of the work machine create an unstable condition.
