VEHICULAR CAMERA
A vehicular camera includes a first shield made of metal and disposed to surround a circuit board. The first shield includes a first bottom surface portion, a second bottom surface portion disposed to be separated from the first bottom surface portion, and a connection portion connecting an entire periphery of the first bottom surface portion and an entire periphery of the second bottom surface portion. At least a first side surface portion, a second side surface portion, a third side surface portion, and a fourth side surface portion of the first shield are formed by a contiguously curved surface, and at least the first side surface portion, the second side surface portion, the third side surface portion, the fourth side surface portion, the first bottom surface portion, the connection portion, and the second bottom surface portion are formed by a contiguously curved surface.
IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD
An image display apparatus includes an imager that captures an image of an area adjacent to a vehicle, a gaze point detector that detects a position of a gaze point of an observer seated on a seat of the vehicle, an image display located on an obstructive object obstructing an outside view of the observer, an image data generator that generates, based on captured image data output from the imager, image data of an image corresponding to the outside view of the observer obstructed by the obstructive object, and a display device that causes the image data to be displayed on the image display. The imager changes a resolution of the imager based on the position of the gaze point.
VEHICULAR DRIVER MONITORING SYSTEM
A vehicular driver monitoring system includes an interior rearview mirror assembly including a mirror head and a mirror reflective element, a driver monitoring camera and a video mirror display screen accommodated by the mirror head and that move together and in tandem with the mirror head. The video mirror display screen displays video images viewable through the mirror reflective element. A sensing device generates sensor data representative of an orientation of the mirror head relative to mounting structure and the system determines orientation of the mirror head relative to the mounting structure. Image data captured by the driver monitoring camera is processed based on the determined orientation of the mirror head for monitoring of the driver of the vehicle. Responsive to adjustment of the mirror head relative to the mounting structure, video images displayed by the display screen are adjusted based on the determined orientation of the mirror head.

Safety apparatus and method
A dashboard apparatus configured to detect a cell phone within a first range of the dashboard apparatus; to select at least one of a plurality of audio messages stored in a computer memory of the dashboard apparatus, and to play the at least one of the plurality of audio messages stored in the computer memory of the dashboard apparatus through an audio speaker of the dashboard apparatus. In addition, the cell phone may be configured to detect the dashboard apparatus within the first range of the cell phone; to select at least one of a plurality of audio messages stored in a computer memory of the cell phone, and to play the at least one of the plurality of audio messages stored in the computer memory of the cell phone through an audio speaker of the cell phone.
DRIVING SUPPORT SYSTEM, VEHICLE, AND IMAGING DEVICE
A driving support system 10 includes a vehicle 110, a controller 120, a flying object 130, and a display device 140. The vehicle 110 acquires information on the environment around the vehicle 110. The controller 120 uses a three-dimensional map database 123 to estimate a blind spot occurring in the environment around the vehicle 110 and performs image processing on an image captured by the flying object 130 to create an image to be provided to an operator/driver. The flying object 130 captures the area where the blind spot estimated by the controller 120 occurs. The display device 140 provides the image created by the controller 120 to the operator/driver.
Image processing device, vehicle, image processing method, and storage medium
The present invention is an image processing device processing an image of a vehicle, comprising a first acquisition unit for acquiring an image showing a situation around the vehicle as a vehicle surrounding image, a second acquisition unit for acquiring information indicating a state of the vehicle, a third acquisition unit for acquiring an image of a driver of the vehicle as a driver image, and an image generation unit for generating an image of the vehicle as a vehicle image based on the information acquired by the second acquisition unit and generating a composite image by superimposing the vehicle image and the driver image on the vehicle surrounding image.
