Light enters the light guide through a housing-side entry surface disposed on the distal side. A first exit surface is defined by a first proximal edge of the proximal side and a first distal edge of the distal side. A second exit surface is defined by a second proximal edge and a second distal edge. The illuminated emblem assembly includes a reflector that directs light exiting a reflector-side transmissive surface of the light guide back through and toward the first exit surface and the second exit surface.
Visible light manipulating emblem for a vehicle
An emblem for a vehicle comprises: (a) a light source configured to emit visible light; (b) a cover assembly disposed over the light source, the cover assembly having an inner surface, an outer surface, and a transparent portion that is transparent to the visible light, the visible light being incident to the inner surface, and the visible light that the light source emits transmitting through the transparent portion out of the outer surface to an external environment beyond the emblem; and (c) one or more surface relief patterns disposed on the cover assembly, the one or more surface relief patterns configured to manipulate (i) the visible light that the light source emits, (ii) visible light from the external environment, or (iii) both (i) and (ii).
EMBLEM FOR VEHICLES
Emblem for vehicles, comprising a decoration layer; at least one lighting element that illuminates the decoration layer; an electrical power generator that feeds electric power to the at least one lighting element, wherein the electrical power generator includes a rotor comprising a support disc for at least one magnet; and a stator comprising at least one printed circuit board provided with windings. It permits to provide an emblem in which a power generator is optimized to be compatible in the axial direction with the available space, which is very small behind the front cover.
Indicia and camera assembly for a vehicle
A vehicle indicia assembly includes a vehicle indicia element having an indicia surface with indicia established thereat and having an attaching surface opposite the indicia surface. The attaching surface of the vehicle indicia element is configured to be mounted at a vehicle with the indicia surface facing outwards away from the vehicle. The vehicle indicia element has a light transmitting portion. A vehicle camera is disposed at the attaching surface of the vehicle indicia element. The vehicle camera is positioned at the vehicle indicia element so that the vehicle camera views through the light transmitting portion and is operable to capture image data. When the vehicle indicia assembly is mounted at a vehicle, the vehicle camera is disposed at the vehicle and views through the light transmitting portion of the vehicle indicia element and is operable to capture image data representative of a scene exterior the vehicle.
Radar cover and method for manufacturing radar cover
A radar cover includes, a transparent member which has an extension recess recessed toward a front surface side from the back surface, extending along the back surface, and having a paint layer formed on an inner wall surface thereof. The inner wall surface of the extension recess has, a first connection surface disposed on a first side in an orthogonal cross section with respect to an extension direction of the extension recess and connected to the back surface, a second connection surface disposed on a second side in the orthogonal cross section and connected to the back surface, and an intermediate surface connected to each of the first connection surface and the second connection surface and having a main design surface disposed such that a direction in which the main design surface is oriented is different from each of the first connection surface and the second connection surface.
EMBLEM STRUCTURE
The present disclosure discloses an emblem structure in which an emblem is coupled to a part in an integral form, thereby minimizing the amount of protrusion and an image is implemented in a distorted form, and advancing the quality of a product. The emblem structure includes a base layer, an image layer disposed on an outer surface of the base layer or to be spaced apart from the outer surface, and a transparent layer deposited on the base layer to cover the image layer. The transparent layer is configured such that light is transmitted and refracted and that the light reflected by the base layer and the image layer is lost, thereby improving visual recognition of the image layer.
VEHICLE GRILLE ASSEMBLY
A grille assembly for a vehicle includes a vehicle grille having an opening with at least a pair of opposed edges, and at least one tab extending along at least one edge of the pair of opposed edges. The at least one tab has a base portion, an end portion, and two opposed faces extending between the base portion and end portion. The at least one tab is tapered such that a cross-sectional area of the tab taken along a plane extending perpendicular to either face of the opposed faces of the tab decreases in a direction extending from the base portion toward the end portion.
VEHICLE EXTERIOR PART
A vehicle exterior part includes: a decoration body including a base and a transparent plastic layer arranged on an outer side of the base; a heater seat including a seat base and a heat wire; and a connector pin. The heater seat includes: a heat-generating body arranged on an outer side of the transparent plastic layer; and an extension extending from an edge of the heat-generating body. A section of the heater wire in the extension is a terminal electrically connected to the connector pin. An outer part of the connector pin is embedded in a periphery of the base. An inner part of the connector pin is exposed from the base. The extension extends inward in an outer-inner direction in the periphery of the base. The terminal of the heater wire is joined to the outer part of the connector pin in the periphery of the base.
Radome Structure Having Heating and Lighting Function and Method Therefor
A method for a radome structure having a heating and a light emitting function according to the present invention comprises forming a three dimensional shape with a film part comprising a film, and a light emitting circuit and a heating circuit printed on the film in a stack; cutting the film part, and integrating an upper cover, a lower cover, and the film part disposed between the upper and the lower cover, into one body using one of a bonding process or an injection-molding process.
Decorative component for vehicle
A garnish includes a heating element, a base member, and a circuit board. The heating element is configured by stacking first and second sheet materials and interposing a heater wire in between.
