A vehicle seat may comprise multiple convertible child seat sections.
Occupant Restraint Adjustment and Fastening Apparatus
A restrain adjustment mechanism (100) has a buckle (122) with a rotatable dial (302) which is connected by a gear to a pair of strap adjusters (118, 120). Rotation of the dial 302 adjusts the straps (102, 104). The adjusters (118, 120) are removably mounted to the buckle (122).
PORTABLE CAR SEAT
The present invention relates to a portable car seat comprising: a seat part on which a child sits; a backrest part rotatably coupled to the seat part; a rotation connection part for rotating the seat part and the backrest part; and a rotation prevention part for restricting rotation, performed by the rotation connection part, through a stopper for preventing rotation.
Automobile seat restraint system and method
A system and method for securing a child in a typical adult-sized automobile seat are provided. The system includes a plurality of straps, or webbing, removably attached to the typical adult-sized automobile seat, an optional seat pad, two optional shoulder pads, two optional shoulder buckles, a chest buckle, and a hip buckle. The system is configured to safely and conveniently secure the child into the typical adult-sized automobile seat, thereby reducing or eliminating a need for a child-sized automobile seat. During use, the system secures the child into the typical adult-sized automobile seat, thereby preventing or ameliorating injury from an automobile collision.
Adjustable restraint system
The present invention relates to a restraint system for use in a vehicle with a seat belt system, including a plurality of straps that can be adjusted to conform to the changing dimensions in a wearer and to fit a variety of wearers. The restraint system includes multiple security members that facilitate attaching different kinds of seat belts to different locations on the restraint system. Thus, the restraint system can be used to secure its wearer to a variety of different seat belt systems in a variety of different vehicles.
BUCKLE ASSEMBLIES FOR USE WITH CHILD SEATS AND OTHER PERSONAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS
Buckle assemblies having electronic engagement indicating devices for use with child seats and other restraint systems are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a restraint system for use with a child seat can include first and second web connectors which each have a corresponding tongue, and a buckle assembly including a housing that encloses a latch configured to engage the tongues. The buckle assembly can further include a magnet operably coupled to the latch, and an electronic switch operably positioned in the housing. The latch is configured to move between a first latch position in which the latch is disengaged from the tongues, and a second latch position in which the latch is engaged with the tongues. Movement of the latch from the first latch position to the second latch position moves the magnet relative to the electronic switch. In some embodiments, the electronic switch can include a Hall effect sensor that outputs a signal in response to movement of the magnetic field that is indicative of the engagement status of the latch.
Webbing adjustment device
A webbing adjustment device has a cover, a frame, a slider, and a guiding ring member. The frame is up and down moveably disposed in the cover. The slider is located in the cover, is moveably disposed in a body of the frame, and has a through slot formed through the slider. Webbing inserted through the through slot is locked or unlocked by a relative motion between the frame and the slider. The guiding ring member is detachably disposed on the cover, and has a guiding ring and a positioning element connected to the guiding ring. The webbing is inserted through the guiding ring. The cover is detachably hung on the guiding ring. The webbing adjustment device can lock the webbing automatically by the tension of the webbing.
