VEHICLE SVM SYSTEM INCLUDING TILT CAMERA
A vehicle surround viewing monitor (SVM) system includes: a tilt camera device including camera modules configured to image a surround view of a vehicle; and a control device configured to generate a control signal for adjusting a detection angle of the tilt camera device according to an operating mode of the vehicle, based on received vehicle information. The tilt camera device is configured to adjust a detection angle of each of the camera modules, in response to the control signal.
IMAGE COMPOSITION IN MULTIVIEW AUTOMOTIVE AND ROBOTICS SYSTEMS
In various examples, two or more cameras in an automotive surround view system generate two or more input images to be stitched, or combined, into a single stitched image. In an embodiment, to improve the quality of a stitched image, a feedback module calculates two or more scores representing errors between the stitched image and one or more input images. If a computed score indicates structural errors in the stitched image, the feedback module calculates and applies one or more geometric transforms to apply to the one or more input images. If a computed score indicates color errors in the stitched image, the feedback module calculates and applies one or more photometric transforms to apply to the one or more input images.
Display system
A tangent line, described next, is, in top view, parallel to a straight line extending in a width direction of the display surface in a range in which the attitude can be changed. The tangent line is present on a plane orthogonal to the up-down direction of the automobile, and contacts a center of the final reflective surface. In top view, of an angle formed by a straight line connecting a center of the final reflective surface with a center of the display surface and the tangent line of the final reflective surface, a supplementary angle which is supplementary to an angle that is on a rear side of the automobile and that is on a side where the observer is present is an acute angle of less than 90 degrees.
DISPLAY SYSTEM AND DISPLAY DEVICE
When a theme park that is a facility configured based on a specific theme is set as a departure point, an AR display device transmits information of the theme park of the departure point to a server. The server includes a theme park-specific character storage unit and a transmission unit. The theme park-specific character storage unit stores information on a character set for the theme park of the departure point. The transmission unit transmits, to the AR display device, image data of the character set for the theme park of the departure point, with the character being set as a virtual object of the departure point.
TARGET IDENTIFICATION FOR VEHICLE SEE-THROUGH APPLICATIONS
Examples of the disclosure relate to example systems and methods for operating a see-through display for a vehicle. An example system includes a video camera positioned to capture video related to a vehicle structure that blocks a view of the driver. The system also includes a see-through display disposed inside the vehicle between the vehicle structure and the driver. The system also includes a processor configured to identify a closest object within a field of view of the video camera, determine a distance to the closest object, and process the captured video based, at least in part, on the distance to determine a portion of the captured video to be displayed on the see-through display. The processor renders the portion of the captured video to create a see-through effect relative to the vehicle structure.
VEHICLE SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ACCESS TO REMOVABLE VEHICLE COMPONENTS
A vehicle system for providing access to removable vehicle components may include one or more vehicles having customizable configurations and configured for selective connection with a plurality of removable components, an electronic device associated with a user, and/or a computer server configured to communicate with the electronic device. The electronic device may be configured to facilitate user selection of one or more removable components of the plurality of removable components for the one or more vehicles.
Full display mirror with integrated cooling system
A rear view assembly includes a housing with a mount extending therefrom, a circuit board disposed on the housing, and an air mover proximate a heatsink. The air mover is configured to draw ambient air from an inlet into the housing. A channel in fluid communication with the air mover is configured to direct the air drawn into the housing across a top portion of the heatsink. The rear view assembly also includes an outlet in fluid connection with the channel, adjacent to the mount.
WATER NON-WATER SEGMENTATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods for water non-water segmentation of navigational imagery to assist in the autonomous navigation of mobile structures. An imagery based navigation system includes a logic device configured to communicate with an imaging module coupled to a mobile structure and/or configured to capture images of an environment about the mobile structure. The logic device may be configured to receive at least one image from the imaging module; determine a water/non-water segmented image based, at least in part, on the received at least one image, and generate a range chart corresponding to the environment about the mobile structure based, at least in part, on the determined water/non-water segmented image and/or the received at least one image.
VEHICULAR VISION SYSTEM
A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a side of a body of a vehicle equipped and having a field of view exterior and at least rearward of the vehicle. The camera includes a lens and a two-dimensional imaging array sensor. The lens of the camera has a center axis region and a peripheral region around the center axis region. The center axis of the lens is laterally offset from the center of the array of the imaging array sensor. A video display displays video images derived from image data captured by the camera, the displayed video images having (i) less distortion at displayed image portions representative of a region laterally closer to the side of the body of the vehicle and (ii) greater distortion at displayed image portions representative of a region further laterally outboard from the side of the body of the vehicle.
INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY WITH DISPLAY AND TILT MECHANISM
A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head and a display device disposed in the mirror head and behind a reflective element. An actuator is operable to adjust the mirror head between a mirror mode orientation and a display mode orientation. Operation of the actuator moves a cam follower to cause a pin at the mirror head to travel along the groove to adjust orientation of the mirror head. With the mirror head in the mirror mode orientation, a first voltage is applied to adjust the mirror head out of the mirror mode orientation. A second voltage that is lower than the first voltage is then applied to adjust the mirror head toward the display mode orientation. A third voltage that is higher than the second voltage is then applied to adjust the mirror head into the display mode orientation.
