Imaging system
An imaging system of the present disclosure includes an event detection sensor that detects an event, and a controller that controls event detection at the event detection sensor. The event detection sensor is provided with a color filter on a per-pixel basis. In addition, the controller controls the event detection in a specific wavelength band based on the color filter. This makes it possible to detect information in various wavelength bands as events.
Concealment system for improved safe driving
The disclosure includes embodiments for concealing a distracting object. A method according to some embodiments includes analyzing environment data to identify a distracting object that is viewable by a driver, wherein the environment data is generated by a sensor set of a first vehicle and the environment data describes an environment including the first vehicle. The method includes determining a risk value of concealing the distracting object from the driver. The method includes responsive to the risk value failing to meet a threshold value, overlaying a concealing graphic on the distracting object while the first vehicle is being operated.
SAFETY SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE TO DETECT AND WARN OF A POTENTIAL COLLISION
Systems and methods are provided for processing reports received from vehicles. A processing device perform operations comprising receiving a first report from a first vehicle, the first report generated by the first vehicle for a first hazard detected by the first vehicle; receiving a second report from a second vehicle, the second report generated by the second vehicle for a second hazard detected by the second vehicle; analyzing the first report and the second report to make a determination that the first report and the second report identify a related hazard; aggregating the first report and the second report into a consolidated report based on the determination that the first report and the second report identify a related hazard; and processing the consolidated report to identify a contributing factor to the related hazard.
Vehicular camera with enhanced heat dissipation
A vehicular camera module includes a lens barrel having a plurality of optical elements accommodated therein, a front camera housing portion, and a rear camera housing portion mated with the front camera housing to form a housing that encases an imager printed circuit board and a processor printed circuit board. A heat transfer element is disposed between and in thermal conductive contact with the imager printed circuit board and a rear wall of the rear camera housing. The heat transfer element extends through an aperture of the processor printed circuit board. Circuitry of the camera module is electrically connected to electrical connecting elements that electrically connect to a wire harness of a vehicle when the camera module is disposed at the vehicle. Heat generated by operation of the vehicular camera module is drawn from the imager printed circuit board to the rear camera housing portion via the heat transfer element.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED CAMERA
[Object] To provide a vehicle-mounted camera capable of successfully absorbing stress applied to a flexible board that connects a main board and an imaging device board to each other.
[Solving Means] The vehicle-mounted camera includes an imaging device board, a main board, and a flexible board. The imaging device board includes a first terminal. The main board includes a second terminal. The flexible board includes a first connection portion to be connected to the first terminal, a second connection portion to be connected to the second terminal, and a first bending portion and a second bending portion that are located between the first connection portion and the second connection portion and are bent along a first bending axis and a second bending axis intersecting with each other in a developed state of the flexible board. The vehicle-mounted camera is capable of absorbing stress in any direction applied to the flexible board.
IMAGING SYSTEM AND IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS
An imaging system includes a camera and an image processing apparatus. The image processing apparatus tracks an object image included in an output image by the camera, and generates information for correcting distortion of the output image based on a change in shape accompanying movement of the object image. Then, the image processing apparatus corrects the output image using the generated information.
System and method for processing streamed video images to correct for flicker of amplitude-modulated lights
A display system is provided for a vehicle equipped with a camera for supplying streamed video images of a scene rearward of the vehicle. The display system includes an image processing unit for receiving the streamed video images and processing the streamed video images, and a display for displaying the processed streamed video images. To perform processing of the streamed video images, the image processing unit is configured to: detect amplitude-modulated light sources in the streamed video images, classify the detected amplitude-modulated light sources into one of several possible classifications, select the streamed video images in which an amplitude-modulated light source is detected that flickers based upon the classification of the amplitude-modulated light source, and modify the selected streamed video images to correct for flicker of any amplitude-modulated light sources in the selected streamed video images.
Imaging system for a vehicle and method for obtaining an anti-flickering super-resolution image
An imaging system for a vehicle for obtaining an anti-flickering super-resolution image includes an image sensor adapted to obtain a sequence of images, and an image processor adapted to receive the sequence of images, compare image information of a most recent image of the sequence of images to a reference image to detect at least one image region of mismatch in the most recent image, remove the detected image region from image information of the most recent image to obtain adjusted image information, and add the adjusted image information of the most recent image to a super-resolution image.
Vehicle control apparatus
A vehicle control apparatus includes an automatic steering control device. The automatic steering control device includes an override determiner, a target steering angle setter, and a target torque setter. The target steering angle setter sets a target steering angle in automatic steering control, based on surrounding information and running condition information. The target torque setter sets a target torque for making the vehicle turn so that a steering angle of the vehicle becomes the target steering angle set by the target steering angle setter. If a steering intention has been detected by the override determiner, during the steering intention being detected, the target steering angle setter sets the steering angle a predetermined length of time before, as the target steering angle.
Camera device and motor vehicle therewith
A camera module for use in a vehicle includes a camera for capturing a surrounding of the vehicle, and which is configured to move from a retracted position to a deployed position, a camera lens forming a housing or part of the housing around the camera, a camera holder which carries the camera and the surrounding camera lens, and a drive system including a motor for moving the camera from the retracted position to the deployed position or from the deployed position to the retracted position.
