Vehicle periphery monitoring device and vehicle periphery monitoring system
A vehicle periphery monitoring device includes a location information acquisition unit configured to acquire a current location of the vehicle; a vehicle-mounted camera configured to capture an image of the exterior of the vehicle; a display device configured to display the image; a caution point information storage unit configured to store information relating to a caution point, which is a location where use of the vehicle-mounted camera is recommended; and a control unit configured to carry out vehicle exterior image display to output the image acquired by the vehicle-mounted camera to the display device, wherein the control unit carries out the vehicle exterior image display when it is determined that the caution point is present near the acquired current location.
Transfer of image data taken by an on-vehicle camera
A method, system, and computer program product for transferring image data taken by an on-vehicle camera. The image data and nearby-vehicle information on a vehicle are received, where the image data and the nearby-vehicle information are successively transferred from each of a plurality of vehicles capable of making a communication with each other. Furthermore, information on a line of vehicles is generated based on the nearby-vehicle information. The image data is then associated with the information on the line of vehicles. Display data may then be generated using the image data. Furthermore, the display data may be presented on a display device in the vehicle.
VEHICULAR CAMERA WITH PLIABLE CONNECTION OF PCBS
A vehicular camera configured to be disposed at a vehicle so as to have a field of view exterior of the vehicle includes a lens holder, an imager printed circuit board, a connector printed circuit board and a rear housing. The imager printed circuit board has an imager disposed at a side thereof and is attached to the lens holder with the imager side facing the lens. The imager printed circuit board and the connector printed circuit board are joined together via a pliable material. The rear housing is mated with the lens holder to encase the imager printed circuit board and the connector printed board.
WIDE AREA SURROUND VIEW MONITORING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A wide area surround view monitoring apparatus for a vehicle includes: a camera module installed in an ego (self-driving) vehicle, and configured to acquire a surround image, wirelessly transmit the acquired surround image, wirelessly receive a camera image from a neighboring vehicle to measure RSSI, and transmit the RSSI with the surround image of the ego vehicle and the camera image of the neighboring vehicle through a vehicle network; and a controller configured to receive the surround image of the ego vehicle, the camera image of the neighboring vehicle and the RSSI from the camera module, determine and output a possibility of collision with the neighboring vehicle, configure a wide area SVM view by synthesizing the surround image of the ego vehicle with the camera image of the neighboring vehicle, and generate a local wide area image map by calculating a possible driving space of the ego vehicle.
Truck position control system for milling operations
A control system (40) is disclosed for a mobile machine (10) configured to transfer material into a receptacle (18). The control system may include a first sensor (44) configured to generate a first signal indicative of one of a speed of the mobile machine and a distance between the mobile machine and the receptacle, a display system (56) having at least one display device (58) configured to show information relating to one or more of the mobile machine and the receptacle to an operator of the receptacle, and a controller electronically connected to the first sensor and the display system. The controller may be configured to determine a relative speed of the receptacle with respect to the mobile machine based at least in part on the first signal and generate on the at least one display device a first visual indicator (68) indicative of the relative speed of the receptacle with respect to the mobile machine.
Vehicle Driver Nudge System
A vehicle intent indication system includes a sensor, a display, and a controller. The sensor is configured to detect an object in an operating environment of a vehicle. The display is configured to display a pattern visible to a person in the operating environment of the vehicle. The display includes light emitting components configured to be selectively illuminated to display the pattern. The controller is configured to receive information from the sensor indicating that the object has been detected in the operating environment and to cause the light emitting components to be selectively illuminated to display the pattern in response to receiving the information from the sensor. The pattern in configured to inform the person in the operating environment of the vehicle of an intent of the vehicle to perform a driving maneuver.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING BEHAVIOR OF VEHICLE OPERATOR USING VIRTUOUS CYCLE
A method or system is capable of detecting operator behavior (OB) utilizing a virtuous cycle containing sensors, machine learning center (MLC), and cloud based network (CBN). In one aspect, the process monitors operator body language captured by interior sensors and captures surrounding information observed by exterior sensors onboard a vehicle as the vehicle is in motion. After selectively recording the captured data in accordance with an OB model generated by MLC, an abnormal OB (AOB) is detected in accordance with vehicular status signals received by the OB model. Upon rewinding recorded operator body language and the surrounding information leading up to detection of AOB, labeled data associated with AOB is generated. The labeled data is subsequently uploaded to CBN for facilitating OB model training at MLC via a virtuous cycle.
WORK SCREEN DISPLAY SYSTEM
A work screen display system including a position information obtaining unit for obtaining position information on a work vehicle based on positioning correction information supplied from a first reference station; a region shape determination unit for determining a shape of a specific region where the work vehicle performs autonomous travel, based on positioning correction information supplied from a second reference station; and a display control unit for displaying, on a display unit, a specific region indication section indicating the specific region determined by the region shape determination unit. The display control unit displays the specific region indication section in a display mode that varies between a case where the first and second reference stations are identical and a case where the first and second reference stations are not identical
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND APPARATUS FOR AN IN-VEHICLE FLEXIBLE VIEWING PLATFORM
An apparatus that can secure an electronic device to a vehicle center console. The apparatus provides a platform to mount and secure an electronic device atop of the vehicle's center console, which is the space between the driver and passenger front seats. The apparatus contains a connection assembly system that secures the apparatus to the center console. Once the apparatus is attached to the center console, electronic devices can be mounted on it. The electronic device can be positioned to face any passenger in the vehicle to interact with. The vehicle may comprise one or more of the following: automobile, van, truck, autonomous vehicle, airplane, helicopter, boat.
