ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
Provided is a control method of an electronic apparatus. The control method of an electronic apparatus includes: calculating an average speed of a vehicle when a specific event occurs; generating an object indicating a relationship between the calculated average speed and an event speed corresponding to the specific event; and outputting the generated object through augmented reality.
System and method for dynamic in-vehicle virtual reality
A computer-implemented method for rendering views to an output device and controlling a vehicle. The method includes determining a maneuver path for the vehicle within a spatial environment around the vehicle based on vehicle data from one or more vehicle systems of the vehicle. The method includes updating a view based on the spatial environment and the maneuver path, by augmenting one or more components of a model to provide a representation of the maneuver path virtually in the view as an available maneuver path or an unavailable maneuver path. The view is rendered to an output device and a vehicle maneuver request is generated based on the maneuver path. Further, the one or more vehicle systems are controlled to execute the vehicle maneuver request.
Image display apparatus
An image display apparatus has: an imaging device (11L, 11R) that is placed at a door (15L, 15R) of a vehicle (1) and that is configured to image an external circumstance of the vehicle; a displaying device (14) that is configured to display an external image captured by the imaging device; and a controlling device (132, 133) that is configured to control an display aspect of the display when the display displays the external image, the controlling device is configured to control the display aspect such that the display aspect when the door is in an opened state is different from the display aspect when the door is in a closed state.
Vehicle event playback apparatus and methods
Vehicle event data playback systems described herein may provide users means for reviewing events recorded by a vehicle event recorder. Circumstances relating to vehicle operation may be visually presented in these playback systems. Video playback from multiple recording devices may be synchronized with each other and/or with information related to the operation of the vehicle during the recorded events to affect a presentation of information related to operation of the vehicle. A user may be presented with many data types in graphical and/or intuitive arrangements.
Systems and methods for capturing and offloading different information based on event trigger type
This disclosure relates to a system and method for detecting vehicle events. The system includes sensors configured to generate output signals conveying information related to the vehicle. The system detects a vehicle event based on the information conveyed by the output signals. The system selects a subset of sensors based on the detected vehicle event. The system captures and records information from the selected subset of sensors. The system transfers the recorded information to a remote server or provider.
Shooting system for mobile object
There is provided with a shooting system for a mobile object. A first shooting unit shoots surroundings of a mobile object via a first transmissive portion. A second shooting unit shoots surroundings of the mobile object via a second transmissive portion. A first heater is capable of heating the first transmissive portion. A second heater is capable of heating the second transmissive portion. A notification unit notifies a passenger of information. A control unit determines a malfunction of the first heater and the second heater, and causes the notification unit to give notification regarding an occurrence of the malfunction. The control unit suppresses the notification by the notification unit when it is determined that the second heater has malfunctioned compared to when it is determined that the first heater has malfunctioned.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A HOUSING EQUIPMENT FOR A SECURITY VEHICLE
A system for providing security functions to a vehicle may comprise a chassis and a drone. The chassis may be configured to be mounted on top of the vehicle. The chassis may include a drone port for housing a drone. The drone may include a camera. The camera of the drone may be configured to capture images of objects outside of the chassis while the drone is positioned in the drone port. A device including the chassis may be a light bar and further include lights positioned at a periphery of the device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE PREDICTIVE SENSOR CLEANING
Systems and methods are directed to obtaining autonomous vehicle sensor data of an autonomous vehicle. In these system and methods that include determining a direction of motion of a vehicle based on a predicted navigational position of the vehicle, determining, based at least in part on the predicted navigational position, a change in a future light positional information that may be received by one or more sensors compared to a current light positional information being received by the one or more sensors and cleaning the one or more sensors of the vehicle prior to the change in the future light positional information and prior to the vehicle reaching the predicted navigational position.
Vehicular collision mitigation system
A vehicular collision mitigation method includes providing a plurality of cameras, a non-imaging sensor, and a control that processes data captured by the cameras and non-imaging sensor. When the equipped vehicle is traveling forward, and responsive at least in part to determination that the equipped vehicle is approaching an object forward of the equipped vehicle, braking by an automatic emergency braking system of the equipped vehicle is controlled to mitigate collision with the object present forward of the equipped vehicle. Responsive to determination that a following vehicle is following the equipped vehicle and that the determined following vehicle is within a threshold distance from the equipped vehicle and is approaching the equipped vehicle above a threshold rate of approach, braking by the automatic emergency braking of the equipped vehicle is adjusted to mitigate collision at the rear of the equipped vehicle by the determined following vehicle.
Trailer driving assist system
A method for assisting a driver of a vehicle towing a trailer includes providing a rear backup camera at a rear portion of the vehicle. A trailer having a trailer tow bar is attached to the trailer hitch of the vehicle. The vehicle is driven while towing the trailer and image data is captured via the rear backup camera and provided to a control at the vehicle. The image data captured while the vehicle is towing the trailer is processed at the control to determine an angle of the trailer tow bar relative to the vehicle. Responsive to determining the angle of the trailer tow bar relative to the vehicle, a degree of sway of the trailer relative to the vehicle is determined. Responsive to determination that the degree of sway is greater than a threshold degree of sway, an output is generated via the control.
