Watch with fob capabilities
Described herein is a watch with a plurality of electrical components and systems to generally provide a remote coupling with an additional system, such as a vehicle or entry system. The watch generally functions as a vehicle fob and security device for wearing by a user. The watch includes a bezel portion having a generally hollow channel configured for the receipt of airflow to generally direct the airflow to form a sound, wherein the bezel can be utilized as a whistle.

The vehicle door unlocking control method can be carried out by the apparatuses and systems and includes: obtaining an acquisition trigger signal; controlling, based on the acquisition trigger signal, a first camera assembly disposed on a vehicle to acquire a first face image of a user; performing feature matching between the first face image and a pre-stored second face image; performing living body detection on the first face image; and sending a vehicle door unlocking instruction to at least one vehicle door lock of the vehicle in response to successful feature matching and successful living body detection. This door unlocking solution may be used to provide face-based vehicle door opening in a safe, convenient and reliable manner.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE, SYSTEM
A method for operating a motor vehicle having at least one vehicle communication arrangement fixed to the body. Signals are emitted by a user device, which can be handled independently of the motor vehicle and can be assigned or is assigned to a driver of the motor vehicle, and are received by the vehicle communication arrangement. A distance between the user device and the motor vehicle is monitored on the basis of the received signals. Provision is made for the distance to be monitored during operation of the motor vehicle and for a safety operating state of the motor vehicle to be activated when a distance exceeding a predefined threshold value is detected.
METHOD FOR ACTIVATING A VEHICLE FUNCTION AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVATION DEVICE
A method for activating a function of a motor vehicle by an activation device on the vehicle having at least one communication unit including at least one radiofrequency antenna and transmission and reception device. The activation coming from a user's portable device. The activation of the function is triggered by detection of the user's presence in a predetermined zone around the vehicle and on the basis of a result of authentication of the portable device by the vehicle. For at least two responses received from the portable device: a) comparing, for each response, a power of a first wave received at a time with a maximum power of the components of the first wave received, b) determining, for each response, a presence or absence of reflected waves, c) determining an averaged reflection rate for the responses, d) determining a minimum value for the time from the responses, e) if the averaged reflection rate is zero or full, then the user's presence in the predetermined area is determined using the minimum value for the time, f) if the averaged reflection rate is partial, then the user's presence in the predetermined area is detected using the minimum value for the time, to which a corrective coefficient is applied.

The present disclose is directed to a method for dropping off a shipment in a motor vehicle. In one embodiment, the method comprises: transmission of a digital key to a control device of the motor vehicle, transmission of a piece of authentication information to an authentication element, capture of the piece of authentication information or of a piece of information derived from the piece of authentication information, actuation of a vehicle device to allow access to at least part of the motor vehicle interior by the control device when an authentication condition that evaluates both the piece of authentication information or the derived piece of information and the digital key is met, and actuation of the vehicle device and/or of a further vehicle device to close the motor vehicle following storage of the shipment in the motor vehicle or after a prescribed waiting time.
System and method to securely activate a vehicle
One general aspect includes a method of activating vehicle operations, the method including: (a) receiving, via a controller, a sequence of input signals from a plurality of device interfaces to define an activation attempt, where each device interface is configured to control operation of a corresponding vehicle aspect; (b) determining, via the controller, if the activation attempt matches an activation sequence key; and (c) activating vehicle operations, via the controller, when it is determined the activation attempt matches the activation sequence key.
