Wavetrap for a vehicle defroster system
A wavetrap includes a housing having a base including a base plate. The housing has a wire channel, an inductor pocket and a terminal pocket. The housing has a capacitor pocket that receives a capacitor. The wavetrap includes a defroster wire having a wire end received in the wire channel. The defroster wire extends from the housing for connection to a vehicle defroster circuit. The wavetrap includes an inductor supported by the base plate. The inductor is received in the inductor pocket. The inductor has a coil extending between a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to the wire end of the defroster wire. The wavetrap includes a ground terminal supported by the base plate. The ground terminal is received in the terminal pocket. The ground terminal is electrically connected to a ground circuit.
ELECTRICALLY HEATED WINDSHIELD
An electrically heatable panel may include a conductive coating patterned to have a conductive profile with a narrow region whereby current density is greater in the narrow region thus providing increased heat dissipation in the narrow region.
Moving body
A moving body includes: a detection unit configured to detect a peripheral situation of the moving body; a heating unit configured to be capable of heating a component of the moving body that is positioned in a detection range of the detection unit; a power receiving unit configured to receive power from an external power supply apparatus of the moving body; and a control unit configured to, when the power receiving unit receives power from the power supply apparatus, control the heating unit so as to be in an operation state.
Fogging suppression apparatus and control method thereof
A fogging suppression apparatus that suppresses fogging of a window of vehicle, comprises an acquisition unit that acquires an external temperature of the vehicle, a heater that heats the window, the heater differing from an air conditioning apparatus including a blower provided in the vehicle; and a control unit that controls the heater so as to heat the window when the external temperature of the vehicle is lower than or equal to a predetermined temperature and there is a request for activation of the air conditioning apparatus.
Sensor cleaning system
A sensor lens cleaning system for a cylindrical sensor having a sensor lens surface includes an extended member having a first end coupled to the cylindrical sensor and a second end opposite the first end, a nozzle coupled to the second end of the extended member, an actuator coupled to the extended member and configured to control the extended member, and a controller in electronic communication with the actuator and configured to communicate an actuator control signal to the actuator. The nozzle generates an air stream directed at the sensor lens surface.
PROJECTING INFRARED EMISSIONS FOR SURFACE HEATING
Provided is a vehicle including one or more of an IR emitter, ring lens, ring wedge, or any combinations thereof. In an embodiment, an infrared emitter configured to output energy. A ring lens receive the energy output by the infrared emitter and converges the energy to a predetermined field coverage. The predetermined field coverage is determined based on, at least in part, the surface to be heated. The surface to be heated receives the converged energy and is heated.
LAMINATED GLASS
Laminated glass includes: an outer glass plate having a first side and a second side; an inner glass plate that is arranged opposing the outer glass plate and has substantially the same shape as a shape of the outer glass plate; and an intermediate layer arranged between the outer and the inner glass, wherein the intermediate layer has a heat-generating layer including: a first bus bar that extends along an end portion closer to the first side; a second bus bar that extends along an end portion closer to the second side; and a plurality of heating lines arranged so as to connect the first bus bar and the second bus bar to each other, and when a predetermined voltage is applied between the first and second bus bars, an amount of heat generated per unit length of each of the heating lines is 2.0 W/m or less.
SIDE DEFROSTER AIR OUTLET STRUCTURE
An air outlet of a side defroster is disposed on a front pillar of a vehicle, and includes upper vertical fins configured to direct a flow of air toward a side window, and lower vertical fins configured to direct a flow of air toward a fixed window disposed forward with respect to the side window.
Vehicle surface cleaning device
A vehicle surface cleaning device comprising a vehicle integrated housing including a nozzle carrier extendable from and retractable into the bodywork of a vehicle, said nozzle carrier being provided with at least one fluid nozzle, and comprising means for contactlessly heating the fluid nozzle while being in a retracted position.
Laminated glass
A laminated glass having an interlayer between a glass plate on an exterior side of a vehicle and a glass plate on an interior side of the vehicle, includes a heat generator on a principal surface on a vehicle-exterior side of the glass plate that is on the interior side of the vehicle, wherein at least one of the glass plate on the exterior side of the vehicle and the glass plate on the interior side of the vehicle has a wedge shape in cross section, and wherein a maximum value of a layer thickness of the interlayer is less than or equal to 1 mm.
