On-board camera device

An on-board camera device includes a camera unit, a hood member, a thermally conductive member, a heater device, and a temperature measurement element. The camera unit captures an image of an ambient environment through a window glass of a vehicle. The hood member blocks an unnecessary light beam from outside and suppresses background reflection on the window glass. The thermally conductive member is fixed to the hood member to thermally contact with the window glass. The heater device contacts with the thermally conductive member and removes dew condensation and fog adhering to the window glass. The temperature measurement element is provided at the heater device and partly contacts with the thermally conductive member. The temperature measurement element detects a temperature state of the heater device during operation of the heater device and a temperature state of the window glass through the thermally conductive member during non-operation of the heater device.

AUTOMOTIVE HVAC SYSTEM

A vehicle heating, ventilation, and air cooling (HVAC) system that includes a module, an evaporator, and a heater core; the module defines a defrost outlet, a side window outlet, a front face outlet, and a front foot outlet. The evaporator and heater core are both housed within the module. The defrost outlet being open and closed by a defrost door, the side window outlets being open and closed by a plurality of demist doors. The defrost door and demist doors share a common shaft, a torsion spring around the shaft allows the defrost door to remain offset from the demist doors.

MOTOR VEHICLE WINDOW ASSEMBLY

A motor vehicle window assembly. One implementation includes a wiper in electrical communication between a defrost grid of a movable window assembly and an elongate conductor of a guide rail assembly having a straight guide portion and an oblique guide portion, and in contact with the elongate conductor when the movable window assembly is in an open position. Another implementation includes an actuator cable including a core having a terminus coupled to a cable connector portion of a movable window assembly, wherein when the actuator cable is actuated, the movable window assembly moves in a direction extending away from an open position along a plane, toward a closed position out of the plane, and into the closed position in another plane such that the terminus of the core is carried out of the plane by the movable window assembly.

Method and arrangement for de-icing a transparent window using an electric heating device

An arrangement and a method for de-icing a transparent window, in particular a vehicle windshield, with an electric heating device, are described. The method has the following steps: Step A): Measuring a window temperature before an initial application of a heating voltage; Step B): Measuring the window temperature after a beginning of a heating period; and Step C): Applying a heating voltage of more than 100 volts to a heating device over a heating period of a maximum of 2 minutes, in particular a maximum of 90 seconds, and repeating step B).

ADJUSTMENT DEVICE HAVING A CONTROL UNIT PROVIDED WITH A BRIDGE CIRCUIT

An adjustment device for a closure element on a vehicle, such as e.g. a window pane, a sunroof or a convertible top, is provided. The closure element is adjustable between an open and a closed position by means of the adjustment device, wherein the adjustment device includes a drive motor and an electronic control unit for adjusting the closure element and the control unit comprises a bridge circuit, in order to supply the drive motor with electric power and control the rotational speed and the direction of rotation of a drive element of the drive motor to be coupled with the closure element. The bridge circuit is connected with at least one additional load of the vehicle, such as e.g. a window heater, and is formed and provided to control the energization of the at least one additional electronic load.

HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING UNIT
20170210200 · 2017-07-27 ·

A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning unit includes a case, a door, an actuator, and a holding member. The case has a first wall, a second wall, and a third wall. The first wall and the second wall are connected by the third wall to face each other. The door is rotatably disposed inside the case through a rotational axis. The door rotates about the rotational axis to selectively open and close an air outlet. The actuator rotates the door between a closed position where the door closes the air outlet and an open position where the door opens the air outlet. The holding member is disposed in the second wall and holds the door when the door rotates to the open position by engaging the door.

Air conditioner for vehicle

An air conditioner for a vehicle includes: a compressor that compresses a heat exchange medium; an internal heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between the heat exchange medium expelled from the compressor and air for air conditioning introduced inside a vehicle compartment; and an external heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between the heat exchange medium expelled from the internal heat exchanger and external air, wherein the air conditioner for a vehicle calculates a temperature difference between an external air temperature and a discharge port temperature of the external heat exchanger, calculates an average value of the temperature difference, and performs a defrosting operation which melts frost adhered to the external heat exchanger when an amount of change of the average value is equal to or greater than a first predetermined value.

MODERATION OF A DRIVER ASSIST CAMERA ENVIRONMENT BY HEADLINER AIR DUCT
20170182952 · 2017-06-29 ·

A system for moderating the environment of a driver assist camera of a vehicle having a camera mounted within a housing adapted to be attached to a window and a headliner of the vehicle. A duct connection port is connectable to a headliner air duct to permit forced airflow through the housing to moderate the environment.
