IMAGING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

In this vehicular imaging device, a positive electrode terminal for a heater and a negative electrode terminal for the heater, which are different from a heater film of a cover glass, are integrally formed with a bracket body of a bracket by insert molding. When the cover glass is disposed in the bracket body, a positive electrode side press-contact part of the positive electrode terminal for the heater and a negative electrode side press-contact part of the negative electrode terminal for the heater are brought into press contact with the heater film of the cover glass. Thus, the positive electrode terminal for the heater, the negative electrode terminal for the heater, and the heater film are electrically connected together.

VEHICLE CAMERA DEVICE

A vehicle camera device includes: a lid that opens and closes an opening of a camera accommodation chamber; a camera that is capable of being accommodated in the camera accommodation chamber and exposed from the opening when the opening is opened by a rotation of the lid; and a driving device that operates the camera and the lid, in which the camera has an image capturing posture when the camera captures an image of a portion below a reference axis, an accommodation posture when the camera is accommodated in the camera accommodation chamber, and the other postures different from the image capturing posture and the accommodation posture.

Cleaning device for vehicle-mounted camera

An air passage and two lines of cleaning liquid paths are provided in a nozzle, and the air passage is bifurcated into two lines of distal end portions. Then, a distal end portion of the cleaning liquid path and the distal end portion of the air passage are merged. Thus, if the compressed air is supplied to the air passage, the resulting air flow causes a negative pressure on the downstream side. This enables making a cleaning liquid into the form of a mist and suctioning it, and to mix the cleaning liquid in the form of a mist with the compressed air, whereby it is possible to clean the lens surface and to reduce the amount of the cleaning liquid used.

SENSOR CLEANING APPARATUS

A sensor apparatus includes a cylindrical sensor window defining an axis, and a plurality of at least three tubular segments fixed relative to the sensor window. Each tubular segment is elongated circumferentially relative to the axis. The tubular segments collectively form a ring substantially centered around the axis. Each tubular segment includes a plurality of nozzles. Each nozzle includes a first opening and a second opening. Each of the first openings has a direction of discharge in a radially inward and axial direction forming a first angle with the axis, and each of the second openings has a direction of discharge in a radially inward and axial direction forming a second angle with the axis. The second angle is different than the first angle.

Method for operating a motor vehicle having at least one exterior camera and motor vehicle having at least one exterior camera

A method for operating a motor vehicle with at least one exterior camera includes detecting whether the motor vehicle is put into operation before a driver gets into the motor vehicle, determining whether there is any contamination of the at least one exterior camera, in particular of a lens and/or a cover of the exterior camera, and outputting at least one signal in the event of certain contamination and detected start-up. A motor vehicle includes a control or regulating device designed to carry out the method.
