Roller Assembly for Automatic Conveyorized Car Wash
A roller assembly for an automatic conveyorized car wash is provided. In preferred embodiments, the roller assembly includes has a body, a tube, and a rod, wherein the rod is affixed to an inner surface of the tube. The assembly further includes at least first and second rollers, wherein the first roller is slid over (and rotates about) the tube, and the second roller is slid over (and rotates about) the rod. Because the rod is offset with respect to the tube, the rollers are as well (i.e., the first roller has an axis of rotation that is offset from the second roller's axis of rotation). This allows the first roller to only touch a first surface (e.g., an upper surface of a track) and the second roller to only touch a second surface (e.g., a vehicle's tire).
Vehicle wash package selection confirmation system
A vehicle wash system includes a wash package selection zone where a vehicle operator is presented with a plurality of different vehicle wash packages. Each of the vehicle wash packages has an associated unique color identifier. The system includes a controller configured to receive a selection from the vehicle operator of one of the plurality of different vehicle wash packages. The system includes a vehicle treatment zone, including at least one illumination element associated therewith. The at least one illumination element is in communication with the controller. The controller is configured to emit light from the at least one illumination element in a color that corresponds to the color identifier of the vehicle package selected by the vehicle operator.
Vehicle wash control system
A vehicle wash control system for controlling the amount of wash product applied to a vehicle based on environmental or other conditions, sensed locally or controlled/sensed remotely. The vehicle wash control system generally includes one or more electronic control valves that may be controlled by a control unit that receives inputs from a sensor or remotely which adjusts the flow of wash products responsive to the inputs.
CAR WASH DOLLIE ASSEMBLY
A dollie assembly for a vehicle wash includes a center link configured for attachment to a drive mechanism of the vehicle wash and having a throughhole with a first bushing extending therethrough along an axis between opposite ends with cylindrical bearing surfaces on opposite sides of the center link. A tire pushing roller is disposed on each of the bearing surfaces for rotation about the axis. A pair of track rollers are supported for rotation about the axis. The track rollers are disposed on an opposite side of the pair of tire pushing rollers from one another such that the pair of tire pushing rollers are between the pair of track rollers. The pair of track rollers are rotatable about the axis independently from pair of tire pushing rollers.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR WASHING A VEHICLE
A wash equipment assembly for a car wash and method of operating the equipment are described. For example, the assembly includes a cleaning element configured to clean a vehicle, an arm assembly operably attached to the cleaning element and configured to move the cleaning element to a vehicle cleaning position, the arm movably fixed to a support at a first end and the cleaning element mounted on the arm at a second end, a controlled locator for positioning the arm relative to the support such that the cleaning equipment is moved to the vehicle cleaning position, and a sensor for evaluating an actual orientation of the cleaning element relative to a default orientation of the cleaning element. In certain implementations, the controlled locator can modify the position of the arm in response to a signal from the sensor, thereby providing a closed loop control system.
MOBILE VEHICLE CHARGING STATION WITH INTEGRATED ENTERTAINMENT
An enclosure for charging an electric vehicle (EV) including an automatic vehicle moving system, which gradually moves the EV from one end of the enclosure to an opposite end of the enclosure. A charging chassis, including an EV charge connector, moves alongside the EV, charging it as the automatic vehicle moving system moves it along. The enclosure is also able to include an entertainment display in order to allow a driver to view media content while the vehicle is charging.
Car wash tunnel entrance safety system
A system to promote car wash safety and protection of car wash assets is provided. The system comprises a server and an application executing on the server. The system receives content from a video camera that captures video of vehicles entering a car wash. The system also performs a first analysis of at least tire alignment of a first vehicle with conveyor equipment. The system also performs a second analysis of characteristics of the first vehicle comprising at least body shape and optional equipment attached to exterior surfaces of the vehicle. The system also determines, based on the analyses, that at least one of a safety issue and a property damage issue is present and at least one of transmits an audible or visual message, transmits an instruction for adjustment of at least one car wash component, and transmits an instruction for full or partial shutdown of the car wash.
WHEEL GUIDE RAIL AND VEHICLE TREATMENT INSTALLATION
A wheel guide rail for lateral delimitation of a washing area of a vehicle treatment installation has an elongated housing and several light modules distributed along the housing. The housing has several openings distributed over its length. Each light module includes a mounting base mounted in one of the openings of housing and at least one light source mounted in the mounting base.
LIQUID INTRODUCTION SYSTEMS FOR CONVEYOR SYSTEM
In an aspect, a conveyor system for moving a wheeled structure through a service line is provided. The conveyor system comprises at least one endless belt mounted longitudinally through the service line. The belt has an upper transport portion for moving the vehicle through the service line, and a lower return portion with a support deck below the upper transport portion to support the belt. A liquid introduction system is provided for helping to remove dirt from the belt and/or to remove dirt from between the belt and the support deck.
Washing tunnel for motorcycles
Washing facility for two- or three- wheeled vehicle where the vehicle is conveyed longitudinally by mechanical means opposite washing devices, where the facility comprises a lower longitudinal guiding device in order to guide a wheel of the vehicle on the floor along the longitudinal displacement thereof and an upper guiding device made firmly connected to the handlebars of the vehicle in order to keep the vehicle in vertical position.
