Dynamic resource allocation among different OFDM numerology schemes
The present disclosure relates to a resource allocation procedure for allocating time-frequency radio resources by a scheduler in a mobile communication system. A plurality of numerology schemes are defined, each partitioning a plurality of radio resources of the mobile communication system into resource scheduling units in a different manner. A reference resource set is defined per numerology scheme, each being associated to a set of radio resources usable for being allocated according to the respective numerology scheme. The reference resource set of at least one numerology scheme overlaps with the reference resource set of at least another numerology scheme in the frequency and/or time domain. The resource allocation procedure is performed for allocating radio resources to one or more user terminals according to the numerology schemes. The resource allocation procedure is performed for each numerology scheme based on a scheduling time interval defined for the respective numerology scheme.
Controller, control method, and brake system
A controller and a control method are capable of improving safety by automatic emergency deceleration action while suppressing a motorcycle from falling over. One arrangement also obtains a brake system that includes such a controller. In the controller, the control method, and the brake system, a control mode that causes the motorcycle to take the automatic emergency deceleration action is initiated in response to trigger information generated in accordance with peripheral environment of the motorcycle. In the control mode, automatic emergency deceleration that is deceleration of the motorcycle generated by the automatic emergency deceleration action is controlled in accordance with a lean angle of the motorcycle.

Method for detecting undesirable vibrations of an actuator of an electromechanical brake, electronically controlled braking system, computer program product, control unit and motor vehicle
A method for detecting undesirable vibrations of an actuator of an electromechanical brake includes the steps of: (1) providing an electrical signal comprising at least one piece of information about a current consumption of the actuator or a parameter correlated with the current consumption; (2) monitoring an operation of the actuator on the basis of the gradient of the electrical signal in such a way that after switching on the actuator and preferably after a subsequent delay time, which includes determining: whether the amount of an initial instantaneous value of the gradient exceeds the amount of a threshold and whether a subsequent second instantaneous value of the gradient has an inverted sign compared to the first instantaneous value; (3) evaluating the results to ensure that an undesirable vibration is assessed as detected the aforementioned conditions are met.

A brake control system comprises a first set of analog-to-digital converters in electrical communication with a first set of brake input mechanism sensors and a second set of analog-to-digital converters in electrical communication with a second set of brake input mechanism sensors. The first and second sets of analog-to-digital converters comprise one or more of different hardware and different software for differentially manipulating sensor outputs received from the brake input mechanism sensors.
Brake system providing limited antiskid control during a backup mode of operation
A brake system for a vehicle is disclosed and includes an energy storage device configured to store and discharge energy, a plurality of wheels having an observer wheel, one or more processors operatively coupled to the energy storage device, and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. The memory stores data comprising a database and program code that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the brake system to determine the brake system is operating in a backup mode of operation. In response to determining the brake system is operating in the backup mode of operation, the brake system is caused to apply a first brake pressure command to the observer wheel. In response to determining the observer wheel is starting the skid condition, the brake system is caused to determine a second brake pressure command based on a target slip value.

CONTROLLER AND CONTROL METHOD
The present invention obtains a controller and a control method capable of improving a rider's perceptibility of a warning.
A controller (51) for a rider-assistance system (50) mounted to a straddle-type vehicle (100) includes: a determination section that determines necessity of the warning given to the rider; a haptic motion performing section that performs haptic motion at least once to reduce or increase acceleration/deceleration of the straddle-type vehicle (100) only for a moment; and an acquisition section that acquires travel state information of the straddle-type vehicle (100). The haptic motion performing section changes a priority of each wheel (3, 4) at the time of changing a braking force to reduce or increase the acceleration/deceleration only for the moment in the haptic motion according to the travel state information acquired by the acquisition section.
