A vehicle braking device includes: an electric cylinder in which a piston driven by an electric motor slides in a cylinder to supply fluid; a hydraulic pressure output unit connected to the electric cylinder by way of a first liquid passage, the hydraulic pressure output unit pressurizing or depressurizing a hydraulic pressure in the first liquid passage and outputting the hydraulic pressure to a supply liquid passage connected to a first wheel cylinder; and a control unit that causes at least one of the electric cylinder and the hydraulic pressure output unit to generate the hydraulic pressure in the first wheel cylinder according to a relative position between the piston and the cylinder.

A controller includes a failure detection unit that detects a failure in a first power supply system, and a power supply system control unit that closes a relay in a case where an execution of an automatic parking function starts and, during the execution of the function, causes the first power supply system to supply power, without causing a second power supply system to supply power, to the electric brake device, by setting a target output voltage of the second power supply system lower than an output voltage of the first power supply system when the failure detection unit does not detect the failure, and operates the electric brake device by setting the target output voltage to a voltage within a range in which the electric brake device is operable when the failure detection unit detects the failure.

A controller includes a failure detection unit that detects a failure in a first power supply system, and a power supply system control unit that closes a relay in a case where an execution of an automatic parking function starts and, during the execution of the function, causes the first power supply system to supply power, without causing a second power supply system to supply power, to the electric brake device, by setting a target output voltage of the second power supply system lower than an output voltage of the first power supply system when the failure detection unit does not detect the failure, and operates the electric brake device by setting the target output voltage to a voltage within a range in which the electric brake device is operable when the failure detection unit detects the failure.

An electronic parking brake system includes an electronic parking brake, including an electric motor, and a controller configured to control the electric motor to engage the electronic parking brake, and when a vehicle motion detection signal is received from a black box through a controller area network (CAN) bus in a state where an ignition is turned off and the electronic parking brake is engaged, the controller is configured to re-engage the electronic parking brake.

An electronic parking brake system includes an electronic parking brake, including an electric motor, and a controller configured to control the electric motor to engage the electronic parking brake, and when a vehicle motion detection signal is received from a black box through a controller area network (CAN) bus in a state where an ignition is turned off and the electronic parking brake is engaged, the controller is configured to re-engage the electronic parking brake.
