Electric vehicle power management system
An apparatus comprising an interface, a memory and a processor. The interface may be configured to receive sensor data samples during operation of a vehicle. The memory may be configured to store the sensor data samples over a number of points in time. The processor may be configured to analyze the sensor data samples stored in the memory to detect a pattern. The processor may be configured to manage an application of brakes of the vehicle in response to the pattern.

Method for controlling a motor vehicle
A method for controlling a motor vehicle, comprising: retrieving road gradient data relating to an expected travelling route of the motor vehicle; based on at least the retrieved road gradient data and on a motor vehicle mass, simulating a required value of a braking power related variable, which required value is needed to prevent a vehicle speed from increasing above a preset desired vehicle speed in an upcoming downhill slope; determining an available value of the braking power related variable of at least one auxiliary brake of the motor vehicle; and based on the determined available value and the simulated required value of the braking power related variable, controlling the vehicle speed and/or at least one brake actuator of the motor vehicle such that the vehicle speed does not increase above the preset desired vehicle speed in the upcoming downhill slope.
Method for warning sufficiency of a parking braking force
A method for warning sufficiency of a parking braking force may include operating a parking pedal or parking lever mounted on a vehicle; confirming a brake state of the vehicle; measuring a slope of the place where the vehicle is located; calculating an actual parking braking force of the vehicle and a required parking braking force of the vehicle; and determining whether the actual parking braking force is smaller than the required parking braking force.

TRANSPORT SLOPE MANAGEMENT
An example operation includes one or more of determining, by sensors on a transport, a slope of a road and a surface condition of the road and engaging one or more wheels of the transport, based on the slope, the surface condition, and a characteristic of the one or more wheels. Engaging includes braking to the one or more wheels at a different rate as the transport is moving on the road.
BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM
A brake control system for issuing an early warning about a malfunction of a brake of a vehicle, in which the brake is configured to receive a brake signal and to perform a braking process after receiving the brake signal. The vehicle includes a sensor to generate sensor data, indicative of an actuation force of the brake. The brake control system includes a reception module to receive the brake signal and the sensor data, and by a processing module to monitor the sensor data during subsequent stages of the braking process, to detect, based on the monitored sensor data, a potential malfunction of the brake, and to issue a warning signal if the potential malfunction is detected.
WHEEL CHOCK SYSTEM
A wheel chock system. In one aspect of the invention, an actuator is configured to move a pair of wheel chocks to an activated position in which motion of the wheel is prevented. A control unit controls the actuator and, based upon determination that a plurality of predefined conditions are met, the control unit may after having received an operator-initiated activation request, cause the actuator to move the wheel chocks from the inactivated position to the activated position. In another aspect of the invention, the actuator comprises a bi-directional motor and a gear mechanism, for moving the wheel chocks to the activated position. The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a wheel chock system.
BRAKING SYSTEM FOR A MILITARY VEHICLE
A control system for a military vehicle includes processing circuitry configured to obtain a weight, an incline, a brake air supply pressure, a current gear, and a transaxle range of the military vehicle. The processing circuitry is also configured to determine a minimum brake air supply pressure for the military vehicle based on the weight, the incline, the current gear, and the transaxle range of the military vehicle. The processing circuitry is also configured to compare the brake air supply pressure to the minimum brake air supply pressure, and, in response to the brake air supply pressure being less than the minimum brake air supply pressure, operate a display of the military vehicle to provide an alarm to an operator of the military vehicle to notify the operator that the brake air supply pressure is less than the minimum brake air supply pressure.
