METHOD AND CONTROL ARRANGEMENT FOR CONTROLLING BRAKING OF A VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a method performed by a control arrangement for controlling braking of a vehicle comprising: a service brake system and at least one auxiliary brake system for applying a brake torque to at least driven wheels of the vehicle, driver maneuverable means for requesting brake torque from the service brake system, the method comprising, when a brake torque is requested by the driver, and when a temperature of a friction brake of the service brake system increases, or is expected to increase: reducing brake torque applied by the service brake system, and increasing brake torque applied by the at least one auxiliary brake system such that the total resulting brake torque corresponds to the driver requested brake torque. The invention also relates to a control arrangement, a computer program, a computer-readable medium and a vehicle comprising a control arrangement.
Braking force control device
A control device, system and method that distribute a braking request to at least one of a powertrain and a brake based on a braking request by driver operation and a braking force that is generable by the power train. When the braking request is larger than the braking force that is generable by the powertrain, the device, system and method instruct a controller of the powertrain to generate the braking force that is generable by the powertrain, and to instruct a controller of the brake to generate a braking force corresponding to a difference between the braking request and the braking force that is generable by the powertrain.
VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD OF VEHICLE
An embodiment vehicle includes a transmission configured to set a travel direction of the vehicle, an indoor camera configured to capture a driver of the vehicle, a cluster configured to display information while the vehicle is in operation, and a main controller configured to, in response to the transmission being shifted to reverse, identify whether a gaze of the driver captured by the indoor camera is directed to a rear of the vehicle and, in response to a determination that the gaze of the driver is not directed to the rear, control to display a warning message.
SAFE DRIVING EARLY WARNING SYSTEM BASED ON DRIVER EMOTION INTERVENTION
The present invention discloses a safe driving early warning system for intervention based on driver emotions. The system obtains current driver facial expression dynamics through a driver emotion real-time recognition unit, performs intelligent emotional analysis based on the obtained facial expression dynamics, and controls a vehicle running status based on a real-time emotion recognition result. The system monitors driver emotions in real time during driving, and controls a vehicle driving status and/or issues a safety warning to a driver according to a monitoring result, so as to ensure the traffic safety of various vehicles from the perspective of the driver.
System and method for responding to driver behavior
Methods of assessing driver behavior include monitoring vehicle systems and driver monitoring systems to accommodate for a driver's slow reaction time, attention lapse and/or alertness. When it is determined that a driver is drowsy, for example, the response system may modify the operation of one or more vehicle systems. The systems that may be modified include: visual devices, audio devices, tactile devices, antilock brake systems, automatic brake prefill systems, brake assist systems, auto cruise control systems, electronic stability control systems, collision warning systems, lane keep assist systems, blind spot indicator systems, electronic pretensioning systems and climate control systems.
VEHICLE CONDITION DETECTION AND WARNING SYSTEM
Described herein is a vehicle system configured to identify and mitigate inappropriate driving behavior. In some embodiments, the vehicle system may receive input information from one or more input sensors. The vehicle system may identify driving behaviors related to a vehicle from the received input. The vehicle system may determine whether the driving behaviors are inappropriate in light of one or more conditions affecting the vehicle. Upon identifying inappropriate behavior, the vehicle system may generate a set of corrective actions capable of being executed to mitigate the inappropriate driving behavior.
DRIVER MONITORING DEVICE
A driver monitoring device is provided. The driver monitoring device includes a detection unit that detects an unbalanced posture of a driver based on an image of a driver's seat of a vehicle captured by a camera; a determination unit that determines whether or not the unbalanced posture of the driver detected by the detection unit is a habitual posture of the driver; and a notification unit that notifies the driver of the unbalanced posture in different manners in accordance with whether the unbalanced posture determined is the habitual posture of the driver or the unbalanced posture determined is other than the habitual posture of the driver.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AND MODIFYING DRIVING BEHAVIORS
Disclosed herein is a method and system for detecting, monitoring and/or controlling one or more of mobile services for a mobile communication device (also referred to herein as a Controllable Mobile Device or CMD), and in particular, when the device is being used and the vehicle, operated by the user of the device, is moving. In addition, one aspect of the invention generally relates to a method and system for modifying a user's driving behaviors, in particular to a system and method for modifying a user's unsafe driving behaviors, e.g., using one or more services of a controllable mobile device while driving, by providing a score to the user rating indicating that they are using a mobile device in a distracting way, or driving in a manner that indicates that they are distracted.
