Method for slip control of a vehicle wheel and device therefor
The disclosure is directed to a method for slip control of a vehicle wheel driven via an electric drive. The method includes at least the following steps: driving the electric drive of the vehicle wheel using an actual drive torque in a torque control in a torque control step, determining a wheel speed and a wheel slip of the vehicle wheel and evaluating the wheel slip by way of an instability criterion as to whether an instability exists, upon recognizing an instability, direct or indirect transition in a slip control of the wheel slip to a setpoint slip by driving the electric drive, determining whether an end criterion for ending the slip control is satisfied; and, if the end criterion is satisfied, returning to the torque control in the torque control step.
Vehicle Control Apparatus and Vehicle Control Method
An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle control apparatus and a vehicle control method capable of improving traceability when a speed reduction torque is applied. A vehicle control apparatus according to the present invention is configured to calculate the speed reduction torque to be generated on a vehicle based on an accelerator operation state and a front wheel slip angle. More specifically, when being brought into a turning state while a coasting torque is applied, the vehicle control apparatus makes a correction so as to reduce an absolute value of the coasting torque, thereby improving the traceability and the drivability.
Brake Control Apparatus for Vehicle
A brake control apparatus includes: a master cylinder that outputs a brake fluid at a master pressure; a master pressure changing device that is configured to change the master pressure irrespective of an operation of a brake pedal; a brake actuator; and a control unit that executes vehicle stability control by changing a brake pressure of a target wheel. Modes of the vehicle stability control include a normal mode and a pseudo mode. In the pseudo mode, the control unit operates the master pressure changing device such that the master pressure obtains a target value of the brake pressure of the target wheel, and changes the brake pressure of the target wheel in an interlocking manner with the master pressure. When the normal mode is unavailable, the control unit executes the vehicle stability control in the pseudo mode.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ESTIMATING THE FRICTION VALUES OF A WHEEL OF A VEHICLE AGAINST A SUBSTRATE
A method and a device for estimating coefficients of friction of a wheel of a vehicle with respect to an underlying surface including decomposing a supplied trajectory into individual curve segments, estimating a lateral force and a slip angle for a front axle of the vehicle, assigning respectively estimated lateral forces and slip angles relating to the associated individual curve segments and storing these value pairs in a memory, estimating a tire characteristic curve for each of the curve segments based on the value pairs stored for the respective curve segment in the memory, estimating a coefficient of friction for each curve segment based on the respectively estimated tire characteristic curve, and storing the estimated coefficients of friction relating to the respectively associated curve segments in a coefficient of friction map.
Vehicle motion control apparatus, vehicle motion control method, and vehicle motion control system
A vehicle motion control apparatus includes a control unit which controls a steering apparatus and a brake apparatus provided in a vehicle. The control unit acquires a normative motion state amount necessary for the vehicle to trace a target traveling path, acquires a target motion state amount necessary for generating a yaw moment to cancel unstable behavior of the vehicle, and acquires a target steering angle for generating a steering angle moment and a target brake force for generating a brake moment, to obtain a necessary yaw moment generated by the vehicle. The control unit outputs a first control command for obtaining the target steering angle to the steering apparatus and outputs a second control command for obtaining the target brake force to the brake apparatus.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A VEHICLE
A method for operating a vehicle, a braking device, including a parking brake as one element and a brake booster as another element for actuating a service brake of the vehicle, being actuated to decelerate the vehicle, so that a braking force, which decelerates the vehicle, is generated with the aid of the braking device, during deceleration of the vehicle, at least one of the elements of the baking device being controlled in such a way that the generated braking force varies over time. A control device for a braking device of a vehicle, a braking system for a vehicle, and a computer program, are also described.
DRIVER DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING BRAKE-TO-STEER MANUAL DRIVING USING MODEL PREDICTIVE CONTROL
Disclosed is a number of variations that may include a method, system, or computer product useful in determining an intended yaw or yaw rate that a driver desires using a model, comparing the yaw or yaw rate with the actual vehicle yaw or yaw rate to determining a yaw error or yaw rate error, using the yaw error or yaw rate error in a model predictive control to determine the brake pressure required to minimize or reduced to zero the yaw error or the yaw rate error.
Vehicle Control Apparatus
The present invention provides a vehicle control apparatus capable of ensuring drivability when a vehicle is turning. The vehicle control apparatus calculates a vehicle body speed based on a wheel speed of each of wheels, and controls a slip state of each of the wheels according to states of a corrected wheel speed, which is acquired by correcting the wheel speed based on vehicle specifications indicating a position of each of the wheels, and based on the vehicle body speed. Alternatively, the vehicle control apparatus calculates a corrected wheel speed, which is acquired by removing a wheel speed change component generated along with a turn from a wheel speed of each of a plurality of wheels, and controls a slip state of the wheels according to states of the control wheel speed and the vehicle body speed
Controller for a motor vehicle, motor vehicle, and method for configuring the controller
A central control entity controls all actuators of a chassis control system of a motor vehicle. To select a combination of actuator operations best suited for influencing the handling of the motor vehicle, the effect of a change of settings of motor vehicle actuators on the handling is predicted by an observer device configured to receive at least one sensor signal from a sensor via a signal input and, depending on the sensor signal, to determine at least one estimated value for a slip resistance of the motor vehicle. The controller is configured by operating the controller in a test motor vehicle that has a sensor for a measured variable, for which the observer device determines an estimated value. The estimated values from the controller are then compared with corresponding measured values.
DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING PARKING AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PARKING
A method and system are provided for controlling parking. The method includes measuring a road surface friction coefficient or an inclination angle of a road surface and detecting a parking braking force by a parking motor of a parking system. A minimum parking braking force necessary for the parking is calculated using at least one of the road surface friction coefficient, the inclination angle, and a vehicle weight. The parking braking force and the minimum parking braking force are then compared to determine whether the parking is possible.
