DETECTION OF ELEVATED BODY TEMPERATURE USING CIRCADIAN RHYTHMS SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Various techniques are disclosed to provide for improved detection of elevated human body temperatures. In one example, a method includes receiving a thermal image. The method also includes processing the thermal image to detect a person's face and a characteristic associated with the person. The method also includes selecting a circadian rhythm model associated with the detected characteristic.
The method also includes determining an expected body temperature using the circadian rhythm model. The method also includes extracting a temperature associated with the person's face from the thermal image. The method also includes comparing the extracted temperature with the expected body temperature to detect an elevated body temperature condition. Additional methods and systems are also provided.

Patient securing overlay for underbody supports
Apparatus and methods related to an underbody support for supporting a body of a being, such as during surgery to prevent contact pressure injuries. In certain embodiments, the underbody support may include one or more inflatable chambers enclosing a volume. At least one of the inflatable chambers may include one or more compression sensitive switches for monitoring the volume of the inflatable chamber, and the one or more compression sensitive switches may be located within the inflatable chamber. In some embodiments the one or more compression sensitive switches are sized to close when the said inflatable chamber is deflated to a desired residual volume.

Intravascular pressure and flow data diagnostic systems, devices, and methods
In part, the disclosure relates to computer-based methods, devices, and systems suitable for performing intravascular data analysis and measurement of various types of data such as pressure and flow data. The disclosure relates to probes and methods suitable for determining an event in a cardiac cycle such as flow threshold such as a peak flow, a fraction thereof, other intravascular parameters or a point in time during which peak flow or a change in one of the parameters occurs. An exemplary probe includes one or more of a pressure sensor, a resistor, a flow sensor and can be used to generate diagnostic data based upon measured intravascular and other parameters. In part, the disclosure relates to methods and systems suitable for determining a coronary flow reserve value in response to one or more of intravascular pressure and flow data or data otherwise correlated therewith.
Personal Thermal Stability Control
Personal thermal stability control herein provides for personalized temperature regulation dependent upon biometric sensor feedback, sleep stage, and so on, particularly for sleeping users, predicting and preemptively responding to fluctuations indicative of thermal stability, resulting from such things as transitions between sleep stages, hot flashes, night sweats, and general thermal instability. Specifically, in one embodiment, a system herein may comprise: an on-demand cooling system; one or more biometric sensors configured to monitor one or more corresponding indicators of thermal stability of a user; and a controller configured to: a) receive the one or more corresponding indicators of thermal stability of the user; b) predict an onset of a thermal instability of the user based on the one or more corresponding indicators of thermal stability of the user; and c) activate the on-demand cooling system to counteract the predicted onset of a thermal instability of the user.
Method and apparatus for detecting wearable device's contact with living body
A method for detecting a wearable device's contact with a living body may be provided, including obtaining a decreasing rate of body temperature and a decreasing a rate of environmental temperature measured by a wearable device worn on a living body; and determining the wearable device's contact with the living body based on a comparison of the decreasing rate of body temperature and the decreasing rate of environmental temperature. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product for detecting a wearable device's contact with a living body may also be provided.
