Wearable Assembly Comprising a Wearable Article and an Electronics Module
The wearable article (200) comprises a sensing component. The electronics module (100) is removably coupled to the wearable article (200). The electronics module comprises a housing and a processor disposed within the housing (101). An interface element (121, 123) interfaces with the sensing component so as to receive signals from the sensing component and provide the same to the processor. A sensor (105) is disposed within the housing (101). The sensor (105) monitors a property of the environment external the electronics module (100) through the housing (101). The housing (101) is constructed such that the sensor (105) has line of sight through the housing (101).

Systems and methods include an image capture component configured to capture infrared images of a scene, and a logic device configured to identify a target in the images, acquire temperature data associated with the target based on the images, evaluate the temperature data and determine a corresponding temperature classification, and process the identified target in accordance with the temperature classification. The logic device identifies a person and tracks the person across a subset of the images, identify a measurement location for the target in a subset of the images based on target feature points identified by a neural network, and measure a temperature of the location using corresponding values from one or more captured thermal images. The logic device is further configured calculate a core body temperature of the target using the temperature data to determine whether the target has a fever and calibrate using one or more black bodies.
LIGHT/HEAT TREATMENT DEVICE HAVING THERMO-ENDOSCOPE
A photothermal treatment device includes: irradiation means that irradiates a lesion tissue in a body cavity with heating light; a thermo-endoscope including endoscopic imaging means that images the inside of the body cavity and thermographic imaging means that images a surface temperature of a tissue in the body cavity as a thermal image; and control means (control personal computer (PC)) that controls an output and an irradiation time of the irradiation means based on temperature information of the thermal image obtained from the thermographic imaging means.
BIOLOGICAL SOUND DETECTION DEVICE
A biological sound detection device includes a housing, a medium, a transducer unit, a detection unit, and a pressure adjusting unit. The medium has an acoustic impedance closer to water than air. The transducer unit is arranged in the housing, and converts a biological sound transmitted through the medium into an electric signal. The detection unit provides, together with the housing, an accommodation region that accommodates the medium, detects the biological sound, transmits the biological sound to the medium, and is deformable in a direction approaching the transducer unit according to a load of a physical body. The pressure adjusting unit adjusts a pressure of the medium so as to suppress an increase in the pressure of the medium due to deformation of the detection unit.
Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and system
There is provided a controller that performs: determining, based on information obtained from a sensor configured to detect a physical condition of a target person, which of a plurality of predetermined categories the physical condition of the target person falls into; and transmitting a notification corresponding to the physical condition of the target person to a terminal of a notification destination that corresponds to a category into which the physical condition of the target person is determined to fall, wherein terminals of notification destinations are set for the plurality of categories, respectively.

Myocardial infarction detection method, apparatus, and medical device
A myocardial infarction detection method and apparatus is described that includes a stiffness measurement step of measuring myocardial stiffness of a cardiac muscle of a subject, and a determination step of determining, based on the myocardial stiffness, whether or not infarction is present in the cardiac muscle.

Thermal system with overshoot reduction
A thermal control unit for controlling a patient's temperature includes a fluid outlet for delivering temperature-controlled fluid to a patient, a pump, a heat exchanger, and a controller that automatically pauses thermal treatment of the patient prior the patient reaching a target temperature. During the pause, the controller assesses a reaction of the patient and changes a temperature of the fluid only inside the thermal control unit if the patient is likely to reach the target temperature without further thermal treatment. However, if the patient is unlikely to reach the target temperature without further thermal treatment, the controller restarts the thermal treatment. The controller may pause thermal treatment again prior to reaching the target temperature and assess the patient's reaction. In some embodiments, the controller may selectively include and exclude a fluid reservoir in a circulation channel within the thermal control unit.
