STRADDLED VEHICLE
A straddled vehicle, including a frame structure, a rear arm, a driving wheel rotatably supported by the rear arm, a power source unit, and a drive unit including a gear box, a drive motor and a control unit. The drive motor is arranged with an off-set toward a first direction from a center of the straddled vehicle, without overlapping the power source unit in a side view. The control unit is further in a second direction than the drive motor, and overlaps the drive motor, but does not overlap the power source unit, in the side view. The gear box is further in the second direction than the drive motor, and overlaps the drive motor in the side view. The gear box is also further in the first direction than the control unit, and overlaps with the control unit, but does not overlap the power source unit, in the side view.
SERIES HYBRID TYPE STRADDLED VEHICLE
A straddled vehicle including a frame structure having a frame body, a rear arm swingably supported by the frame structure, a driving wheel rotatably supported by the rear arm, a drive motor supported by the frame structure or the rear arm, and an electric power generation unit supported by the frame body but not by the rear arm. The electric power generation unit includes: an electric power generation engine arranged with an offset toward a first direction from a center of the straddled vehicle with respect to a left-right direction, not overlapping the drive motor in a side view; and an electric power generator further in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, than the electric power generation engine, overlapping the electric power generation engine, but not overlapping the drive motor, in the side view. The electric power generator is driven by the electric power generation engine to generate electric power.
SERIES HYBRID TYPE STRADDLED VEHICLE
A straddled vehicle including a frame, an electric power generation engine, an electric power generator, front and rear wheels respectively rotatably supported by a front suspension and a rear arm, a motor unit supported by the frame, the front suspension or the rear arm, and including a drive motor that receives electric power generated by the electric power generator to drive the front or rear wheel, a control unit including an inverter controlling the electric power supplied to the drive motor, an engine radiator configured to cool the electric power generation engine, and an electric motor radiator configured to cool the inverter and/or the drive motor, and having a larger cooling area than that of the engine radiator. At least a part of the engine radiator and of the electric motor radiator receive relative wind. The engine radiator and the electric motor radiator are positioned more rearward than a front end of the front wheel.
AUTOMATIC CONTROL DEVICE FOR MOTORCYCLE
An automatic control device for a motorcycle including a control device that automatically controls an automatic cruise control system and a brake system including a front wheel brake and a rear wheel brake includes a brake temperature detection unit that detects a brake temperature. The control device varies operation states of the front wheel brake and the rear wheel brake according to the brake temperature during automatic cruise control. At a time of deceleration in a case where the brake temperature during the automatic cruise control is low, the control device raises the brake temperature by reducing an engine brake of a power unit of a vehicle and increasing operation frequencies of the front wheel brake and the rear wheel brake.
