Auditory stimulus for auditory rehabilitation
Generally, a method performed by one or more processing devices includes generating a graphical user interface that when rendered on a display of the one or more processing devices renders a visual representation of an environment and a visual representation of an object in the environment; retrieving an auditory stimulus with one or more auditory attributes indicative of a location of a virtual target in the environment; receiving information specifying movement of the object in the environment; determining, based on the movement of the object, a proximity of the object to the virtual target; adjusting, based on the proximity, one or more values of the one or more auditory attributes of the auditory stimulus; and causing the one or more processing devices to play the auditory stimulus using the adjusted one or more values.
Apparatus and method for determining parameter using auditory model of hearing loss patient
An apparatus and method are provided to determine a parameter using an auditory model of a hearing loss patient. The parameter determination apparatus determines a similarity between a neurogram of a normal subject and a neurogram of a hearing loss patient, and determines an optimal frequency band for the hearing loss patient based on the similarity.
AUDIO-ONLY INTERFERENCE TRAINING FOR COGNITIVE DISORDER SCREENING & TREATMENT
Generating, rendering and outputting one or more audio signals that have one or more audio sequences and/or spectral modulations of an audio file including a plurality of audio-based user prompts in an audio interference processing system. An audio interference processing system and method incudes initiating an instance of an audio interference processing session, configuring one or more session parameters, rendering/outputting a training audio output to one or more transducers, rendering/outputting one or more audio discrimination and audio navigation signals to the one or more transducers, receiving two or more sensor inputs in response to rendering/outputting one or more audio discrimination and audio navigation signals to the one or more transducers, processing the two or more sensor inputs, and providing a feedback output to a user via one or more modalities.

Method and apparatus for analyzing and visualizing the performance of frequency lowering hearing aids
A method of analyzing performance of frequency lowering hearing aids. The method includes generating a sequentially of noise signals and transmitting acoustical sounds from a sound output device in response to the sequence of noise signals. A sound input device records the acoustical sounds and saves as a first device data. The sound input device with a frequency lowering hearing aid records the acoustical sounds and save as a second device data. The second device data is compared to the first device data and, in response to the comparison, at least one function of the frequency lowering hearing aid is optionally adjusted.
Auditory perceptual systems
A new hearing profile assessment plays each of a plurality of frequency tones multiple times at a plurality of loudness levels. For each frequency, the patient indicates which tones that they can hear, establishing minimum-amplitude thresholds for each frequency. The assessment adapts loudness levels until the patient indicates consistent minimum-amplitude thresholds for each frequency. Also, a new system for training the hearing of a subject is disclosed. The system instructs the subject to vocalize various sound items and remember the sounds that they vocalize. The system plays either recorded samples of the subject's own voice, or comparison samples of a synthesized voice or other's vocalizations of the same sound items. The system prompts the subject to compare the played samples with the sounds they remembered vocalizing. The system uses the feedback to adjust sound processing parameters for a hearing aid, cochlear implant, sound output devices, or a training program.
Methods and systems for diagnosing and treating presbyopia
Configurations are disclosed for a health system to be used in various healthcare applications, e.g., for patient diagnostics, monitoring, and/or therapy. The health system may comprise a light generation module to transmit light or an image to a user, one or more sensors to detect a physiological parameter of the user's body, including their eyes, and processing circuitry to analyze an input received in response to the presented images to determine one or more health conditions or defects.

METHOD TO ESTIMATE REAL NOISE EXPOSURE LEVELS
There is provided a method for determining a noise exposure level associated as the cause of an observed evolution of hearing acuity of an individual of known gender. The method comprises the following steps: 1) providing a first audiogram of the individual measured at age X and a second audiogram of the individual measured at age Y; 2) inputting the individual's gender, age X, and a time period equal to Y−X in a statistical hearing threshold levels evolution prediction formula; 3) calculating projected hearing loss audiograms specific to each of a plurality of possible noise level exposure values, using the prediction formula; 4) comparing a pattern of each calculated projected audiogram with a pattern the second audiogram; 5) selecting the projected audiogram that best fits the second audiogram; and 6) assuming that the noise exposure level value associated with the selected projected audiogram is the noise exposure value that caused the evolution of hearing acuity observed between the first and the second audiograms. There is also provided systems for performing the method and methods for providing services to clients or enabling users regarding determination of real ear noise exposure values.
Utilization of vocal acoustic biomarkers for assistive listening device utilization
