SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING DRIVE MODES
A system for determining a drive mode for a vehicle is disclosed. The system may include one or more processors connected to a cloud network. The one or more processors may be configured to detect one or more occupants of the vehicle, and receive, from the cloud network, user profiles including one or more user preferences associated with the detected one or more occupants. The one or more processors may be further configured to determine the drive mode, including a plurality of vehicle feature settings, based on the user preferences weighted according to a weighting rule. The system may also include a storage device configured to store the plurality of vehicle feature settings.
Occupant based vehicle control
A vehicle includes an occupant monitoring system and a processing circuit coupled to the occupant monitoring system. The occupant monitoring system is configured to acquire occupant data regarding an occupant of the vehicle. The processing circuit is configured to receive the occupant data; determine a vehicle operation command based on the occupant data, the vehicle operation command configured to affect operation of the vehicle while the vehicle is in a robotic driving mode; and provide the vehicle operation command to a vehicle system.
Controlling autonomous vehicle functions
Controlling autonomous vehicle (AV) functions includes receiving occupant identification data from device(s) of an AV and identifying occupant(s) of the AV based on the received occupant identification data, determining a respective prioritization level for each occupant of the occupant(s), the prioritization level for each occupant dictating priority of the AV in performing commands provided to the AV by that occupant to control AV functions, receiving, from an occupant, input of a command for performance by the AV to control a function of the AV, determining whether to perform the command to control the function of the AV based on the prioritization level for the occupant, and performing processing based on the determining whether to perform the command.
Systems and methods for operating a vehicle based on sensor data
A method performed by an electronic device is described. The method includes obtaining sensor data corresponding to multiple occupants from an interior of a vehicle. The method also includes obtaining, by a processor, at least one occupant status for at least one of the occupants based on a first portion of the sensor data. The method further includes identifying, by the processor, at least one vehicle operation in response to the at least one occupant status. The method additionally includes determining, by the processor, based at least on a second portion of the sensor data, whether to perform the at least one vehicle operation. The method also includes performing the at least one vehicle operation in a case that it is determined to perform the at least one vehicle operation.
DRIVING CONTROL APPARATUS, DRIVING CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present disclosure relates to a driving control apparatus, a driving control method, and a program that can safety update a personalization function that has been learned to match habits and customs of each driver on the basis of a driving operation of a driver and detection results of various sensors.
A personalization function for each driver is found by learning on the basis of driving operation conducted by a driver through manual driving and detection results of various sensors provided on a vehicle body. Verification simulation is carried out by using the found personalization function, and when safety thereof is confirmed, the personalization function is updated as a new personalization function. Autonomous driving reflecting habits and customs of the driver can be realized by correcting an action command found during autonomous driving on the basis of the detection results with the personalization function, thereby realizing safe and comfortable autonomous driving. The present disclosure is applicable to motor vehicles that drive autonomously.
CONSENSUS DETERMINATION SYSTEM FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE SHARED RIDE CONDITIONS
A method of managing a condition of a shared ride provided using an autonomous vehicle (AV) is described and includes determining individual preferences for the condition expressed by passengers participating in the shared ride; determining a consensus preference for the condition based on the individual preferences; and applying the consensus preference for the condition for at least a portion of the shared ride, wherein the applying the consensus preference for the condition comprises managing settings of the AV, including settings of a cabin of the AV.
Cabin preferences setting that is based on identification of one or more persons in the cabin
A method that may include receiving driving information and environmental metadata indicative of information sensed by the vehicle; detecting multiple driving events encountered during the driving over the path; determining driving events; for each driving event, determining a comfort based autonomous driving pattern information; for each driving event, determining an driving event identifier; and storing in at least one data structure a driving event identifier for each one of the multiple types of driving events, and a comfort based autonomous driving pattern information.
System for mode control of a connected car service terminal and a method for mode control using the same
A method controls a mode of a vehicle in a connected car service terminal and is driven by at least one processor. Driver exit information for determining a driver getting out for the vehicle is collected and whether the driver has left the vehicle based on the driver edit information is checked. A driver exit notification signal informing that the driver has left the vehicle is transmitted to a connected car service server and a valet mode in an inactivated state is activated upon receiving a valet mode activation signal of the vehicle from the connected car service server.
Systems and methods for managing door access using movement and pose
Described herein are examples of non-contact systems and methods for managing door access. In an example, a door access device can comprise an array of sensors for detecting one or more movements or poses of an individual in proximity to a door. The device can have a first array of sensors located on a first side of the door associated with a first priority, and a second array of sensors located on a second side of the door associated with a second priority lower than the first priority. In use, requests associated with movements or poses detected by the first array of sensors can be given priority over requests associated with movements or poses detected by the second array of sensors.
