A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MEASURING A LEVEL OF ANXIETY
20230233121 · 2023-07-27 · ·

There is described a method and system for measuring a level of anxiety. Measured data comprising EEG data collected from a parietal (P) EEG electrode is received. A group 8 indicator based on a power, P-power (dt), associated with a delta-theta frequency band, dt, within a delta-theta frequency range is extracted. Based on said group 8 indicator, a level of anxiety, LoA, is determined which is a value indicative of the level of anxiety of the subject.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ELECTRICAL STIMULATION TO A USER

A method for providing electrical stimulation to a user as a user performs a set of tasks during a time window, the method comprising: providing an electrical stimulation treatment, characterized by a stimulation parameter and a set of portions, to a brain region of the user in association with the time window; for each task of the set of tasks: receiving a signal stream characterizing a neurological state of the user; from the signal stream, identifying a neurological signature characterizing the neurological state associated with the task; and modulating the electrical stimulation treatment provided to the brain region of the user based upon the neurological signature, wherein modulating comprises delivering a portion of the set of portions of the electrical stimulation treatment to the brain region of the user, while maintaining an aggregate amount of the stimulation parameter of the treatment provided during the time window below a maximum limit.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING INJURY USING MULTIPLE TYPES OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING DATA

Methods and apparatus for predicting performance of an individual on a task, the method comprises receiving brain imaging data for the individual, wherein the brain imaging data comprises structural brain data, determining values for at least one characteristic of the structural brain data within regions of interest defined for a population of individuals having different performance levels, and predicting based on the determined values, a performance potential of the individual.

MESSAGE SELECTION APPARATUS, MESSAGE PRESENTATION APPARATUS, MESSAGE SELECTION METHOD, AND MESSAGE SELECTION PROGRAM

A message selection device according to an embodiment includes a message database that holds a plurality of messages in correspondence with each of various emotion of a communicator, a communicator information acquisition unit configured to acquire communicator information for estimating the emotion of the communicator, a receiver information acquisition unit that acquires receiver information for estimating the emotion of a receiver who is to receive a message from the communicator, and a message selection unit that estimates the emotion of the communicator based on the communicator information acquired by the communicator information acquisition unit, estimates the emotion of the receiver based on the receiver information acquired by the receiver information acquisition unit, and selects a message from among the messages held by the message database based on the estimated emotions.

APPARATUS AND COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT A USER'S BRAIN RESOURCES, NON-TRANSITORY MACHINE-READABLE MEDIUM AND PROGRAM

An apparatus for providing information about a user's brain resources is provided. The apparatus includes at least sensor interface circuitry and processing circuitry coupled to the sensor interface circuitry. In a calibration mode, the sensor interface circuitry is configured to receive first sensor data from an electroencephalography sensor. The first sensor data are indicative of an electroencephalogram of the user. Further, the sensor interface circuitry is configured to receive second sensor data from a physiological sensor in the calibration mode. The second sensor data are indicative of a physiological property of the user. In the calibration mode, the processing circuitry is configured to train a brain-physiological model for the user based on the first sensor data and the second sensor data.

METHOD FOR SLEEP MONITORING, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM

Disclosed are a method and apparatus for sleep monitoring, an electronic device and a computer readable medium, relating to the field of health monitoring technology, the method comprises: a screen state of a target terminal is obtained; physiological parameters of a user are obtained, the physiological parameters including at least one of body motion parameters and heart rate parameters; a sleep state of the user is determined based on the screen state and the physiological parameters. Since the screen state can reflect the user's operation of the user terminal, and the operation can further reflect the sleep state of the user, and the physiological parameters can also reflect the sleep state of the user, the combination of the screen state and the physiological parameters can make the determination of sleep state more accurate.

Electrogram Annotation System

In an embodiment, an electrogram (EGM) processing system provides, for display by a head-mounted display (HMD) worn by a user, a holographic rendering of intracardiac geometry. The HMD also displays an electrogram waveform. The EGM processing system determines a gaze direction of the user by processing sensor data from the HMD. The HMD displays a marker overlaid on the electrogram waveform at a location based on an intersection point between the gaze direction and the electrogram waveform. The EGM processing system determines a measurement of the electrogram waveform using the location of the marker. The HMD displays the measurement of the electrogram waveform.

TECHNIQUE FOR IDENTIFYING A DEMENTIA BASED ON GAZE INFORMATION

Disclosed is a method of identifying dementia by at least one processor of a device. The method includes performing a first task that causes a first object to be displayed on a first region of a screen displayed on a user terminal; and when a preset condition is satisfied, performing a second task that causes at least one object, which induces the user's gaze, to be displayed instead of the first object on the screen of the user terminal.
